Avoid avoid avoid! Unprofessional and unreliable. We turned up at a pre-booked appointment to view a flat rental on behalf of our daughter. The agent arrived 15 minutes late, and upon arrival instead of greeting us and apologising for his lateness, he totally blanked us and walked into the building. Completely rude and unprofessional. We walked away from the viewing, and will never use or recommend Dixons again.

We had the Pleasure of dealing with Kerrie throughout our purchase and we cannot speak highly of her enough, she was fantastic. This agent's only concern is collecting fees and nothing else. Through them, we rented a house 174 Carter's Lane Birmingham, and for many years we suffered from poor maintenance and disrespectful treatment by the landlord. We had to use a bucket to collect water from the leaking ceiling that took the landlord over 3 months to repair, just to mention one example. After ending the tenancy, they (Kieran, Mark and Linda) just watched while the landlord emailed us with abusive language and threats.
Even though they knew that the landlord was a rogue, they continued to find him another tenant after we moved out. The business obviously lacks ethics and integrity.

Matt dealt with my house sale from start to finish and I am 100% happy with the service I received.
I was selling another house at the time through another agent so have a direct comparison. There was none.
I didn’t have to contact Dixons once for an update. They were one step ahead every time, and contacted me before I had chance to query anything. The most important thing was regular contact, it provides much needed re assurance. This is what I’ve found to be completely lacking with other agents. There was no lull where you are left wondering what is happening.
I equally rate Dixon’s preferred conveyancing solicitors Countrywide. They were the perfect partner, working hand in hand with the estate agent. Very cost effective but 100% reliable, efficient and informative. Dream team.
I initially thought that my sales fees with Dixon’s were more expensive than other quotations but it turns out that they weren’t.
I’d have happily paid the the highest quote price as you can’t put a price on efficiency, good communication, good customer care and being conscientious.
I’ve had dealings with most of the estate agents in the Halesowen area over the last 30 years and always invited 3 for a valuation and price comparison. I wouldn’t entertain any, other than Dixon’s in the future.
Thanks again to Matt Till, you were a credit to your company and your industry. For anyone who is an estate agent Skeptic Matt will alter your opinion.

The first lockdown interrupted the viewings but they arranged many viewings over several weeks either side. It was a 1st time move for us, having lived in the same house for 55 years. It was mine and my girlfriends first experience in viewing a house yesterday afternoon and the estate agent (Darren Leonard) made the whole process very difficult and very uncomfortable. We felt very rushed and he made some really weird and strange comments about how he can be 'manipulative' and 'pushy' in this instance regarding this property; acting like he could make us make an offer on the property regardless. He even made personally insulting remarks about my job, which again is very weird and strange. Wasn't at all the experience that we both wanted and both left very unhappy.
However i will say the financial advisor 'Jewel' was absolutely brilliant, and she couldn't of been more helpful and supportive.

kerrie and matt dealt with our bungalow purchase and right from the start we were very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. Firstly kerrie knew all about the property which many agents don`t always, and advised on improvements which could be done which we may not have otherwise considered. The purchase was delayed due to lockdown but we were kept informed throughout of progress and although difficulties arose with legal issues, they resolved them efficiently and made a stressful time less so. Basically I am doing this review to highlight that Dixons were far above other estate agents for service, customer care, communication and experience. They looked after both buyer and vendor for the property equally. However in all honesty we would not recommend using their solicitors as their service was not good.

We had a very unsettling and difficult time whilst selling a deceased persons house prior to and during this pandemic.
Matt Till and the others we dealt with in Halesowen branch were exemplary under these difficult circumstances. They introduced suitable buyers to view In the first instance and we sold within 24 hours. All was going well until lockdown and the furloughing of staff - at both the estate agents and solicitors.
This for us was extraordinarily difficult to deal with both emotionally and practically as everything took 3 months longer than originally expected.Matt’s assurences were invaluable and once normal service resumed he constantly contacted the conveyancing services on our behalf to avoid any further delays and instantly advised us directly to do whatever was necessary to assist the process.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU COMMIT May i first start by saying that Dixons have ruined my life and my family's life
Back in August we started the process of a sale and purchase of our new home. Dixons were put in charge of the sale of my property what a mistake that was. In two and half months we only ever met any of the staff at Dixons once, and that was to witness the signing of the contract. When we first started the process we did all our own viewings and Dixons never attended once or even offered. All viewings were pushed to the evenings or weekends so they didn't have to attend. After multiple viewings the first offer for our property came in, and even though it was against my better judgement I was advised to accept the offer that was given to me. This was a person whom arrived to my property drunk and no credentials to have a mortgage as we found out. It was only after all the checks were done and after many phone calls by myself I had to go to a separate branch to get any information about what was going on. As i was told the person i needed to speak to in my own branch was not there and when they rang for him not knowing i was there he answered the phone. After this deal fell through which i knew it would do and me threatening to pull the plug, I was asked to give them another chance and reluctantly did, biggest mistake of our life. We started the process yet again and the same happened again and again, we continued to do our own viewings and i was constantly chasing them for information. Again after multiple viewings at the weekend an offer was accepted of what we believed to be a reputable person by Dixons. We had told Dixons not to send anybody to the property unless they were thoroughly checked out and could get a mortgage. The person who the offer was accepted with had his mortgage in place or so we were led to believe by Dixons and after chasing numerous phone calls and emails from myself I was assured that everything was 100% and in place and i kept checking this most days up until the day of the contract signing. My wife and I when we were weeks away from signing the contract and once again getting confirmation that everything was OK, gave up our job and business, and having to part with over a £1000 for searches, DBS, and fuel for interviews. We signed our contracts and they were witnessed by the branch manager of Dixons. We were told to hand them into the solicitor even though we were advised that his mortgage offer had fallen through and again was advised that they could still get him a mortgage 95% sure. After we returned home the same day we were informed that the mortgage offer on our property had fallen through due to something that they had found in their checks. We were gobsmacked that we have now found out that these checks were not done in the very beginning even though we had been promised they had. Dixons had tried to get him a better deal, he lost the lot. And now the purchase has come to the end. We are now sitting here with no way of paying our mortgage or bills, with no jobs, no new dream home and if we cant get jobs very quickly we could lose our present house. This whole experience has made us both very stressed and totally shocked of how we have been treated

Honesty i don't know where to begin... Me and my partner Amy came across these guys for a property online, we viewed it and loved it immediately we met with an amazing guy called Kieran and he was our main point of contact as well as his colleague Mark. Unfortunately the property didn't work out due to the landlord pulling out last minute 4 days prior to the move. BUT amazingly, unlike other agencies Mark and Kieran were with us every step of the way going above and beyond the job, contacting other branches on our behalf to find us the perfect home, and they succeeded! We move in next week (need I mention they did all this in the span of 2/3 days!!) They saved us in a way and both Mark and Kieran are experts in their roles.
I'd highly recommend these two as they are professional, fast, polite and go way above the port of call. Me and my partner are apprentices, and they helped us when not many other people would. they forever have my thanks, and Dixon's will always be my first point of call for the future and should be for anyone looking for a new home as their service is beyond compare!!!!

The team at Dixons couldn’t do enough for us!
My wife and I had unfortunately had past involvement with some agents that it seemed were nothing more than an enforcement arm of the homeowner. Very unhelpful, reluctant to press the homeowner to uphold their terms of a contract etc.
This bred a negative view of the entire rental market that Dixons (and particularly the Halesowen team) has turned around for us.
Nothing was too much trouble. From our initial viewing, through the referencing process, to the moving in day. Every aspect was handled not only in a swift and professional manner, but with a courtesy which we had felt was sorely lacking from other estate agents we had dealt with previously.
Even now we’re calm and settled in our new property, the knowledge that they’re only the other end of the phone should any issues occur, affords them the 5 star rating which they fully deserve!

My experience with Dixons has been poor to say the least. Poor if not any communication. No feed back on viewings, me chasing for updates. Cancelled viewings but not made me aware. Shambles from start to finish. I was even pretty much called a liar when I sent an email with my new contact details on there but advised they wasn't. For what they charge compared to their competitors you would think the service will top class. Disappointed to say the least. Will never use dixons AGAIN!

Before seeing Bal I wasn’t able to get the mortgage amount that I needed and I thought I would have to pull out of the purchase of my first home, but with Bal’s expertise I got more than I expected.
I couldn’t recommend Bal enough and as a first time buyer especially the process was stress free.

Recently remorgaged with Baljit at Countrywide. After 1 visit i managed to save on my monthly mortgage payments and organsise better insurances than what i already had for a cheaper price. It was very easy dealing with countrywide and i would definately reccomend them to all my friends.

Dixons Estate agents (halesowen) worked hard for us to help us in selling our home including arranging and carrying viewings on our behalf while we were in the process of selling the property they were proactivley looking and canvassing for properties that we were after.
After speaking to sellers of properties we were viewing it became evermore so apparent that other estate agents were not actively helping them even down to not even being there to carry out viewings, some never even contacted us for feedback on properties we viewed (we seen some disheartened sellers).
We advised everyone to sell through Dixions as they are proactive and the proof is evident.
Also on the plus side they have an outstanding mortgage adviser Baljit Bajway hidden away upstairs who has arranged our mortgage and remortgage ever since we were home owners saves you a fortune ever time you talk to him outstanding at his job.
Over the moon with the staff in that building.

I found Mark Hildesley to be a professional and efficient Agent. Before I completed the purchase of a one bedroom flat, he made contact with me and advised me about the area. When I was concerned that I didn't have tenant in the first couple of months he assured me that Dixons would get a tenant, and he was true to his word. He ensured he returned my calls when he wasn't immediately available. I felt confident and trusted him as he always did what he said, whether it was to resolve repairs, bills, etc. He was so effective, I actually thought it was his company, only recently discovering that he is the manager. I have enjoyed doing business with Dixons, especially with Mark, who never seems too busy to answer any questions or to give me advice.
