Absolutely loved all the staff at Foxtons Walthamstow. Matthew went above and beyond to make sure that I got the property I wanted. Matthews communication was 11/10 even though I called and messaged about 150 times, he answered every call text and email almost immediately, he is attentive knowledgeable polite and very funny completely took the stress out of moving for me. My husband sold his property via Foxtons Walthamstow branch and we highly recommend them. Their commission fee is at a higher rate than several other estate agents. However, we think it is good value and are glad we selected them.
Giles and his team did an excellent job valuing, marketing and giving us feedback each step of the way. By God's grace we found buyers within a couple of months of putting the property on the market. Giles worked with great dedication ( liaising with us, the buyers and solicitors) to ensure the sale concluded successfully.We wish Giles and his team every success.

I used the Walthamstow Branch of this Company to sell a very difficult type of property that had been on the market for over 18months. The Sale was managed by Giles in a very professional way and he was amazing to work with. Every single time he said he would call me back - he did, and once a week every Friday afternoon we had a catch up session on where we were at at with this sale.
He was excellent with the way he guided the purchaser with all the necessary things she had to do (she was a very elderly lady)he even visited her late one evening to get some documents signed - he goes above and beyond to look after his clients.
I can't praise him highly enough, a first class asset to any business and I sincerely hope he continues to do well.
The fee wasn't the cheapest around but I had tried 3 other agents before this, all failures, so please do give Giles a try - it was well worth it.

It wasn't a straightforward sale with several issues along the way but Giles definitely went above and beyond to help resolve the issues. I was searching for a house with Foxtons and although I ended up finding a rental property with a different company the best experience with any estate agent I had by a country mile was with Hasena from this branch. She called me with plenty of new properties - sent me the information promptly, was courteous and helpful and overall just brilliant. I got probably three times the amount of potential viewings from her than any other agent and she was the only one that called me promptly and directly with new rentals before they went up online.
Most estate agents at the moment seem to just do whatever is easy for them and are not diligent at all with information sharing. They basically seem like they just want to grift you for cash and have such an over supply of prospective tenants that it's pointless expecting any sort of professionalism whatsoever.
So thanks again Hasena for breaking the mould and helping me and my partner!

Super pushy and aggressive tactics, all they care about is pressuring you to complete a sale so be warned if you're trying to buy a property through them - we in particular had a woman dealing with us called Saima who we honestly had the worst experience with, who enabled a truly evil house seller who we were trying to purchase the property from. Would not recommend this estate agency at all.

Probably the best estate agent in Walthamstow on a street full of competitors. Good, serious service that doesn't just treat potential buyers like a number or a sales prospect but like people with their own priorities and lives.
I worked pretty extensively to find a flat or maisonette with Yasin Ercan, who supported myself and my partner's search for a property in the area, and he was great at surfacing properties that matched our interests and helping us understand if they matched our ideal home. I definitely want to call out his service here as he was really helpful and checked in regularly - and was far and away with best salesperson we dealt with over our search.

Overall working with Foxtons to sell my property was a positive experience. Commission is higher than some of the other local estate agents but the intensity of marketing brought in a lot of viewers including those from outside of the listed area and at a consistent rate throughout the week working late on weekday evenings as well which was great. Oshae knew my property very well by the end! The sales manager Saima was also a pleasure to work with and highly professional in getting this over the line. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because I feel there could have been some more pressure applied to my buyer in the middle stage of the sale as the buyer started taking too long on certain parts of the cycle which delayed the sale but once the sales management were on the case again we were able to get the processing moving smoothly and communication was great

I have no complaints with the sales negotiator Renata who did a great job and was very professional the whole way through. This was unfortunately where the good work from Foxtons started and stopped.
It initially became very infuriating when I would have to call a number of times to receive a call back for an update. I was continually told that they have not had a chance to look into my case. This is not acceptable. I feel that the main issue was that they were uncomfortable having the conversation as they were unsure how the phone call was going to go and so they would just ignore my calls and emails.
Foxtons would also look to cut corners such as an issue with the lease. I was promised upon viewing that there was 105 years left on the lease. Foxtons did no research into this and just accepted the guess from the vendor as a given. We then found out 3 months down the line that the time remaining on the lease on this property was far shorter than the vendor had stated. The lease therefore needed to be renewed.
We were also given an exchange and completion date that all parties were in agreement with but yet again the vendors solicitors and Foxtons were late in getting back to my solicitors and so this had to be delayed another day. This then left me liable for additional removal costs. This is something that I will unfortunately have to bring up with my solicitor.
Also it still says 'under offer' on all their web portals rather than 'sold'. This is another thing that’s been 'forgotten' due to being 'too busy'.
I had a dreadful time with Foxtons and strongly suggest that people should think carefully before using Foxtons as their marketing agent.

I've had negotiations and discussions with other agents from other agencies before and Valencia was like no other! She was very polite and professional the whole time.
Takes away the worries and ensures every concern and query is attended to and dealt with. Looking for a new place to move to has never been this easy.
If anyone likes convenience, Foxtons is what you should go for. Everything can be completed online from the application to the signing of the tenancy agreement except of course, the viewing and keys handling!
Everything was just an excellent experience even if this was in the middle of the pandemic!

Avoid renting a flat if Walthamstow office will be your property manager. I live in a flat above one that is managed by them. The tenants moved out, and the cleaners left bags and bags of rubbish outside. We’ve seen rats now and strangers are going through it making me feel unsafe in my own home. I’ve called Foxtons 7 times over as many days, been fobbed off constantly and it’s still there. I’ve had to call Foxtons head office to speak to someone that wasn’t rude and abbrassive. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere that was managed by them and I suggest you avoid too.

The first time I tried to use Foxtons they showed us completely inappropriate houses for our brief - the agent thought it was appropriate for 4 single people to share a two bedroom house and turn the dining room into a bedroom that would have had no doors and would have been constantly used as a walk through to the kitchen. Didn't see why there was a problem with this. The second time I got told that our budget wasn't big enough (over £1100 for a single flat) and that I'd never be able to find anything and needed to up my rent or look further out. Funnily enough I found a very nice flat with another agents within my budget the next weekend....

We've been dealing with Safiya to try and buy a property in Walthamstow and it was a real pleasure dealing with her. She took the time to listed to our requirements, took us to the viewings which were all spot on in terms of location, price and style. It was refreshing being given individual treatment rather than being one of a crowd of thousands at an open day. She was well informed about the properties, areas and was extremely professional and fun. Because of her excellent customer service we would definitely choose to use Foxtons in the future.

I hadn't had the best experience with Foxtons in the past, as I'd found them to have style over substance (walked into the Hackney office and was asked to "tell me about your dream house", which clearly was at the opposite end of the scale of what we could afford in London...) But I've just moved home and had a great experience with Dominique at Foxtons Walthamstow. Communication was superb (calls to chase up solicitors and to check on how the process was going were even instigated by her on occasions, which was much appreciated), and the overall experience very pleasant.
