I was looking for a flat in Notting Hill and had the pleasure to be helped by Natalie Simpkin from this office. She set up a lot of viewings for me, was very generous with her time and always run the extra mile during my search. I definitely recommend Foxtons and Natalie to everyone looking for a property around Notting Hill.
Contacted them two months ago looking for a flat. A guy name Tom was very nice on the phone but not once in person. He argued that I said my limit was 1,300 pcm while I said 1,200 pcm. However, he showed us 4 flats, none of them under 1,300 (the cheapest was 1,350), insisting in that "the normal thing is to spend the 80% of the salary on the rent. Well, that may be your case Tom, but I don't want to struggle every month to pay my bills. He rudly insists so much on this that he even took a calculator and started calculating how much money we would still have after paying 1400 for a 1 bedroom flat near Portobello Market (btw, I thought the limit supposed to be 1300...). He also added that we will not find a 1 bedroom flat for less than 1300, unless we go to live to heathrow. Well, guess what Tom, we find it in Hackney for 1150, and it is not the crappy flats you showed to us (one of them included the landlords -an old couple that, I guess, wasn't expecting having two girls living together- living on the second floor of the building). I am not saying this the experience you will get with Foxtons. Not at all, at the same time colleagues from Foxtons Archway, Ealing and Greenwich were being incredibly kind and professional with us. I just believe this particular "Tom" from Foxtons Notting Hill is only used to work with wealthy people that would pay whatever they asked for a old, muddy, crappy flat in Kensington. It's fine, just tell me from the begining and don't go wasting my time.
I was contacting Foxtons’ difference office but, Emanuele Mortara emailed me and showed me the best flat in my property search fulfilling all my expectations with a lower rent. The offer and renting process was very nice, quick, transparent and efficient. Happy to meet and Many many thanks for all your help.
Absolute nightmare. Foxtons have failed to deliver on any of their responsibilities. The only time they were really keen on getting things done is when it was our turn to pay 6 months' rent up front. They didn't get the apartment cleaned before our arrival, despite delaying our move-in to allow time for them to do so, they didn't provide a 2nd set of keys, despite promising to do so and were rude and unhelpful every step of the way. One piece of the paperwork we were supposed to provide was missing (because they told me it was not necessary) and one of their agents actually said "Well I'm not letting you move in without [the document]". On top of the advertised admin fees were were presented with around £300 of hidden extra charges as well as a 2% credit card charge, which they failed to warn us about, which again was in the £300 range, their service costing over 2x as much in the end than advertised. I would never recommend them to anyone. I know they have a large range of flats on offer, but I would urge everyone to do their best to avoid Foxtons.
Nishaad Ali is simply first class. I cannot say I have worked with a more effective agent in London. My apartment was let without any hassle or delay and I am very grateful for his swift responses and swift rental at a very reasonable rate. I cannot recommend him enough.
This is the worst estate agent to deal with landlords as they are not professional at all I dealt with them and lost a client and a money around £700!! so i do not recommend them at if you are a Landlord do not deal with them! Plaza, Foxtons, Kay & Co. and Manor and co. are much much professional you will never have issue with them like what i faced with Chestertons do not deal with them if you do not want to loose money!
Tom and Amera are both excellent in the way they keep the client updated and well informed. Very efficient and effective service. Very happy to recommend them both - and of course KFH.
The worst experience ever! Be prepared to involve your lawyers before signing anything with them. They are the worst authorized delinquents! Incompetents and thieves! They only do their interests! I strongly discourage everyone to cross their door.
I very much enjoyed taking a tour (and lots of photos!)
with my two Grandsons. We were shown all around including
the actual pitch and I recommend this tour to anyone!
Because it's full of new fans who jumped on the bandwagon when we started winning!! I used to watch Chelsea lose at home to Grimsby etc and it was a better atmosphere and the real fans made more noise. . it's definitely not "a long way to Fulham Broadway anymore"!!!
