Disgraceful incompetent liars!
Before signing the contract they would answer my e-mails within seconds and would send 10 text messages per hour, but after collecting their fees they don't answer the phone and are nowhere to be found.
I am paying almost 5K rent a month and I am treated as if they have let me stay in their house for free. Foxtons agents enter the flat I am renting without my knowledge and as they please. My personal belongings have gone missing but there is little I can do or prove because they have management keys and can do whatever they want. Now that I am finally moving and going to a different agent they refuse to confirm that i have rented through them and payed my rent in good faith, unless they charge me a fee for that. I call this extortion and overall a disgusting behaviour. There are so many other agents on the market, stay away from Foxtons!
Excellent Service allaround. Dylan led the sale of our house and together with Umed did a really good job in a very difficult market. We are very happy with them as well as everyone else in the office. We have now exchanged on a flat, again with Dylan and Umed.
Having lived in London since relocating from the States over 12 years ago, I have dealt with a number of real estate brokers. None have been so woefully bad as Chestertons in London W2 – the "service" I received is so totally awful it cannot be called a service.
An agreement was signed by both parties on a prospective sale agreeing to commission of 1.25%. The property was sold and Chestertons sent an invoice charging commission at 1.5%. When I refused to pay the difference, the South African real estate agent Dylan James turned up at my house and literally tried to kick my front door in. My daughter (aged 15) was inside and terrified. Mr James proceed to loiter at my front door for the best part of an hour - smoking cigarettes, shouting and threatening violence. Upon eventually returning to his office he called my wife on her cellphone and threatened to employ heavy-handed debt collectors if I didn't cough up. I refused to pay a penny more than the rate agreed. Mr James eventually and ungracefully accepted. This firm is arrogant, dishonest, and inefficient.

I have, in the last five years, bought, sold, and rented out numerous properties with Paul Hyman and his team.
I have nothing but praise for the way the team handled all aspects of purchase, sale, and rental. The team has always made me feel special, looked after, respected and represented in the best possible way.
And, furthermore, I have seen them do the same with the other parties involved in the transactions.
If you want to buy, sell or rent a property in the Bayswater/Lancaster Gate area this is the team to represent you - hands down no one else can beat them for a 5 star service and knowledge of this area.
The worst experience ever! Be prepared to involve your lawyers before signing anything with them. They are the worst authorized delinquents! Incompetents and thieves! They only do their interests! I strongly discourage everyone to cross their door.
My move that Foxtons assisted in has completely changed my life. They were completely professional, efficient and personable throughout the entire process. Oliver Venn helped to negotiate an excellent selling price that exceeded my expectation through his talent and diligence. Chuck Madekwe went above and beyond calling out of hours in his own time to keep me posted. These two gentleman helped me get an offer in the space of 3 weeks. I cannot thank you enough. Farah
No idea how anyone is reviewing Foxtons so highly but couldn’t be further from my experience with them. Not by choice I’ve had to deal with Foxtons Camden branch for the past 3 years and they have been consistently poor. Vital contract renewal information was never sent out, they don’t even attempt to stick to appointment times and they let themselves into a property without my permission causing great embarrassment to me and their customer.
Everyone I know who’s dealt with Foxtons has similar stories to this and I’ve never heard a good thing said about them. Protect yourselves and stay away.
Always professional staff. You might be paying a premium but you get the service and are served in the most luxurious of surroundings. The Harrods card point system is great if you shop there regularly. Their food hall has items which cannot be found anywhere else and of the highest standard. The Christmas Grotto is really fun for children. There are also many restaurants to eat well.
It's a high-end place where you can't think of buying anything but definitely worth the experience. For me although I was not very happy with the experience as there was no place in such a big mall for sitting and relaxing. Every mall I have been to has some sofas in the center where people can sit and relax or some restaurants or cafes. There was no easy way to find the directions in the mall. Even one of the staffs was not aware where the elevators are. There was no directory listing. I was there with a baby and it was so difficult to navigate through the store. The changing room for babies was stinking. I don't think I am going there again or recommending anyone to go there.
