I wanted to leave this review to say how absolutely greatful myself and my partner are for Christina's help and assistance. We were in a chain that was causing delays, where other estate agents had not been honest with us and told numerous lies, Christina who was not even our esate agent was amazing! She went above a beyond helping the chain complete, she was honest with us from the start, provided us updates that really wasnt her job to do, she was proactive and worked so hard for us. If it wasnt for her the chain could have been broken causing alot of heartache, stress and loss of money. After dealing with other esate agents through the chain Christina was by far the best i would highly recommend Christina at Henry Adams Estate agents Storrington. Steve was an amazing support, helpful and patient with myself and my mother. It had been a long and arduous process which wasn’t Steve’s fault but he made everything more manageable to cope with. He would phone me regularly keeping me updated on everything regarding the chain and how we were progressing. When something stalled he would get right onto it and deal with it. Steve was the estate agent at Henry Adams who was selling the house of our buyers, we were in fact selling through their Midhurst office but sadly we didn’t experience the same care and consideration by the Midhurst office and so decided to deal only with Steve and his office. I can highly recommend you using this estate agents and ask for Steve, if you are selling or buying, Steve is honest, straight, cares for his clients and in the end gets it all sewn up. He even called me on the day of the move to see how my mother and I were and again the following week to check in on her. An amazing man and an amazing team at this branch..THANK YOU ..

To be honest I approached looking for a new place to live with a little trepidation. We all hear the horror stories. BUT my dealings with the Team at Henry Adams were flawless. Alex and Steph were both professional and friendly. Always making themselves available, returning calls and emails. I was looking for someone based in and who understood the area I was looking to move to and I found them. The welcome box and card is a lovely touch as well. It all makes a big difference when you're in the middle of what is usually a stressful situation. Highly recommended.

I’ve always personally hated being just another number on an estate agents list, but we’ve never felt like that with Henry Adam’s. Sick to death of booking viewings with this company, over the past 18 months we have had viewings arranged, we have gone to look online again at the property to see its been let ? No one contacts us to let us know we have to bring it to their attention and then they confirm.yes it been let (still don't advise us that our appointment won't be going ahead) yesterday we were advised no one had come forward for the property in questions an hour later its been fully let out ? I contacted them asking if it had been let as we have a viewing they confirmed yes still no contact to cancel our viewing appointment and always telling us all viewings go ahead and put forward to the landlord I've just had to tell them my viewing is cancelled due to knowing the property isn't available WASTE OF TIME rubbish customer service !

I am writing this review to express my utter distaste and disbelief at the customer service I have received from this business. I recently enquired regarding an apartment which had been advertised by your team on Rightmove and which I was very interested in renting. Therefore I called your team immediately to arrange a viewing. I managed to secure the first viewing of the apartment within the earliest time slot. Once this was arranged (as it was days in advance of the viewing appointment) I had time to think it over and didn’t want to take the chance of losing this property so I once again communicated with your team to see whether I could put an offer in without viewing the apartment as I was happy with the photos posted on the site. I was told that it is not possible and that I need to view the apartment first. After viewing the apartment I spoke to your office immediately to put in an offer and I even went over and above the asking price to secure the property. I was told my offer will be put through to the landlord and I would get an answer the following day. The following day, I had heard nothing, no communication whatsoever so once again I rang your office around midday to ask for an update. I was told the person dealing with it was not in that morning which is why there is a delay but he would get back to me in the afternoon. There was still no communication. I called the office again at around 3:30pm for an update after the flat status had miraculously changed to ‘let agreed’ online. I was then informed that the status was updated to stop further enquiries but they’ve not come to a decision yet but someone will call me back by the end of day (6pm). I can’t help but think that this is not true as every time I communicated it seemed like I was bothering them and was an inconvenience asking for an update on my offer when I was promised a call that day. All I wanted was an update! Fast forward to 5:30pm I call again and was told that a message has been passed for someone to call me back urgently before 6pm. I didn’t receive any call, as expected. The following morning I hoped someone would get back to me first thing having passed the message the following evening… but no call once again. I then called up at 10:45am to be told “We’ve just taken a holding deposit and unfortunately the landlord did not choose you. We were actually about to call you right now!” (Hmm, sure). I wasn’t given any other information and the lady on the phone rushed to end the call but said they would call me back if anything changes. In my humble opinion, they had already earmarked this property for somebody else prior to the viewings. After having to call up 4 times for an update I don’t believe anyone will contact me. I have provided my phone number and email also but I seem to be ignored. I work in a very similar industry and I understand things can get busy, however ignoring someone for over 24 hours and then to be bluntly told their application did not go through is quite rude and disrespectful. Total waste of time and terrible communication. Avoid this letting agency at all costs.

This was my first time dealing with Henry Adams, and they did not disappoint. Alex showed me around the property and was friendly, informative, and I felt like the only viewer despite the fact he'd shown so many around the place that morning. Holy moly. I will never be renting through Henry Adams again. First, they didn't tell the landlady I was hoping to rent from that I had a dog when I explicitly said I had one and the landlady had told them she definitely didn't want pets. We got around that when we communicated ourselves WITHOUT the help of Henry Adams. Then they messed around with our contracts, lost contacts, terrible communication and messed us around some more just so we could pick up our keys! So much innec stress and time wasted. I'm glad I won't have to deal with them now for a long time, until I stop renting from my current place

They by no means should be letting properties they are not letting agents.

Promised things worked when we moved in and they actually didn’t...
Send tradesman out to carry out essential work that seem to take weeks to get hold of and then they lie and say they can’t turn up or do an appalling job and stain my jacket with sealant.
Absolutely awful... I know you can’t really pick your letting agents and it’s all about the property but if you are interested in a property that Henry Adams is letting I would seriously considering thinking twice about it.
There are plenty of great reviews on here and yes I’m sure they are great from a landlord perspective because they save them so much money not carrying out essential work on properties and not really managing the properties correctly.

I have used Henry Adams as my letting agency for many years and have always found them to be extremely efficient and courteous. I am a landlord who lives abroad and Henry Adams has been absolutely wonderful, not only with the renting of the house to excellent tenants, but with the maintenance and latterly with the fairly extensive renovations I have undertaken. Those renovations have been handled by Henry Adams with such care and consideration. I would have no compunctions as regards highly recommending them as agents. I would be lost without them! GREAT staff and service.

We have used the services of Henry Adams for the past four years to manage the letting of the retirement flat inherited from my stepfather. From the outset, we were impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the company.
Regular inspections of the property were carried out and repairs and replacement of internal fittings and equipment were organised when necessary. All work undertaken was of a high standard and all estimates and invoices sent promptly.
