Waste your time letting you view properties they will not rent to you if you receive housing benefit. Instead of pretending to not discriminate , just be upfront and deny a viewing . Also was told properties went to other viewers and they are both still advertised 2 months later .
Since you have replied I'd like to add you stated in emails that either id pay 1 year upfront or require a gurentour. I have no debts and a 914 credit report . You only accept benefits with either one of those conditions as you stated via email .

From beginning to end the whole experience with Reeds Rains was great
The photography and advertising were spot in, we had 6 viewings in the first week of the house going on the market and numerous offers. Needless to say the house was sold within 2 weeks.
Nick at Reeds Rains kept us informed all along the way and responded rapidly to any e-mails I sent, which ended up being quite a lot towards the end.
The web site and the process chart we also found really useful

It’s not my first time to let out a property through an estate agent. When I approached Reedsrains at the Salford office, I expected a good professional service. I was pleasantly surprised by the top class professional approach, excellent and thorough administrative efficiency, and excellent results in getting both properties let out. And at the asking price!

Had the house on the market for 2 months with Reeds Rains and got nothing, switched to Hills and they had the house sold within 2 days without them even posting the house up anywhere! One of the agents also admitted to stealing and opening post from another property but justifying it saying the house is empty. There is so much emotion when selling houses so please be careful who you trust, these people will have the key to your house!

Incredibly poor experience with this estate agents. Initially we had a great contact who was very supportive and helpful, however, when she went on maternity leave the service we received was awful with unprofessional staff, no support ending a tenancy and hours spent chasing for responses before having to file a claim myself (despite having paid for them to do it). If you're looking for a local agent I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
(Also incapable of taking feedback and make excuses which aren't relevant to the problems faced...)

We decided to sell one of our well maintained, fully equipped and 'ready to go' rental properties in Salford. Having been appreciative of the service offered by the Reeds Raines Salford branch on Littleton Road on a previous sale, we decided once more to ask them to market the property on our behalf. Lewis Sewell visited and his valuation was at the top end of the market for the type of property and the location. His professionalism, local knowledge and clear explanation of Reeds Rains' terms and conditions gave me the confidence to put the sale once again into the hands of his branch. After the initial formalities, we were impressed by the efforts of Kathryn, (overseeing the sale), Ben and Nick, to arrange and manage viewings and how they kept us 'in the loop'. Kathryn and the team dealt with our queries in a prompt and customer friendly manner. From the branch's list of potential but-to-let investors and other interested buyers, some 20+ viewings took place within 2 weeks of the property going on the market. One investor made an offer more than 10K above the asking price. Completion was yesterday. Terrible service from the lettings team. Ignoring calls and emails. Waited 7 weeks for a working oven when we moved in. So far received a very unprofessional service. Would never have gone with Reeds if we knew we would have been treated how we have. They seem to forget whilst you are a tenant this is your home. We also have friends who rent from Reeds in the area who have received the same terrible service. Save yourself the stress and hassle.

I moved the management of my property to Reeds Rains a couple of months ago after a bad experience with a previous agent and I am very glad I made the move. All the staff are professional and most importantly handle all matters efficiently and promptly which is invaluable. I was very impressed at how quickly and smoothly they were able to checkout my previous tenant and found a new one in record time! Sophie and Ben have been wonderful in keeping me informed of progress at every stage of the old and new tenancy and look forward to continuing to do business with them. I highly recommend this agency.
Unfortunately had to revise my original review, even though the branch staff were great at finding a new tenant, the maintenance team were a nightmare and after costing me thousands of pounds I've had to terminate my property management agreement. Would recommend for tenant finding but not for property management.

We would never recommend this company, my husband rang the office on Saturday 25th may was told that a colleague we call me back in the afternoon to make an appointment to sell my recently deceased mothers house, Lewis the salesman never returned the call. Tuesday 28th May finally received a phone call from Lewis to make the appointment,which was made for that afternoon at 1pm, we arrived at 12.45pm in good time for the appointment, waited till 1.30pm no show from Lewis, my husband went to the office 5mins away to complain about the no show was told he had a flat tyre and he had just left this was 1.35pm, Lewis didn’t even have the courtesy to call and tell us he was going to be late, told the girl in the office to forget getting the chance to sell for us, customer service is non existant, It was really upsetting sat in my mums house waiting to sell it now show was gone. At about 2pm my husband received a phone call from Lewis who told us he was late due to his flat tyre and he got to the property at 1.10pm which was a total lie as we didn’t leave till 1.30pm, so a lie on top of the no show was totally unexceptable.
If this is how this company want to conduct themselves it’s up to them, I would advise choosing somebody else to sell any property you have to sell.

My girlfriend and I were moving to the area for work and once we had found a house we liked online, the rest of the process was smooth sailing thanks to Sophie. The viewing went well and she was able to answer all our questions on the day. We put our names down for the house and Sophie was the memeber of staff that followed our application from start to finish. References were done quickly and all other documention was done via email which was usful for us as we were moving from Teesside. Any time we had any questions we knew we could ring the Reeds Rains branch, and we would be put through to Sophie as she knew what stage we were at in our application. She also arranged a meeting with our new landlord at his request and even after moving in, made sure we had settled in well and checked we had no further issues. Its been a straightforward move which we really appreciated having moved a fair distance.

We had used Reeds Rains Salford 2 years ago to find tenants for our property, and it had been a positive experience, so we decided to use them again when we were one again looking for tenants. Again, Reeds Rains found us tenants within a reasonably short time and dealt with the practicalities and legalities efficiently. We were impressed with the thoroughness of the checks they conducted, and appreciated their taking time to explain the steps they were taking. However, what most impressed us was the additional help they offered when unforeseen difficulties arose when the new tenants moved in while we were abroad on holiday. Stephen, Ben and Sophie did much more than they were obliged to do in trying to resolve the difficulties, and continued to support us after we returned home from holiday. Ben in particular was in regular contact with us and the tenants, and helped us to work through the outstanding issues. We felt very supported by him. It struck us that the way the Reeds Rains staff dealt with the problems that arose showed that they have a wealth of experience in dealing with landlords and tenants and that their skills are not just practical but also diplomatic! Thanks once again to Reeds Rains Salford.
Reeds Rains Salford recent found us tenants when we decided to rent out our house. Our first meeting was with Stephen Yearsley who came to our house to discuss our plans. He was polite, courteous, and explained everything very clearly. He was completely 'straight' and nothing like the stereotypical smary used-car-salesman-like estate agent we all dread! He explained our options and the different services offered by Reeds Rains, and took time to answer all our questions. He obviously knew his stuff. Tenants were found within a matter of days, at which point Haleema Sarwar took over doing all the pre-letting checks, contract, standing orders etc. Over the weeks we were in contact with Haleema, she was likewise extremely courteous, patient with our many questions and anxieties, she liaised efficiently between the tenants and ourselves, and she dealt competently with all the practicalities and legalities. Overall, dealing with Reeds Rains Salford was a positive experience. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to rent out their property. Thanks Reeds Rains!

I must mention Sophie, the young lady who has gone the extra mile to reassure me during a difficult time with getting contract sorted with tenants. Sophie always rang back when asked and was always pleasant and knowledgable and dealt with tenants efficiently and professionally. She has given me the confidence to continue to us the Salford branch at Reed Raines to manage the property I rent out to tenants particularly when the head office failed to sort out the renewing contract. Steve Yearsley, Lettings Manager, was Fantastic throughout my 6 years as a landlord. If there were ever any problems arising from the tenants, things were soon "Nipped in the Bud" Everything always ran smoothly.

Letting Agent Haleema remained very helpful and professional throughout the whole process. She didn't let me handover the keys to the tenant until their legal status to remain in the UK was confirmed by the Home Office and this task was done by her who always tried her best to speed up the process.The tenants were trustworthy and looked after my property in the best possible manner. Wasted my time and money.
I planned to take a day off work and drove an 8hr round trip to view a property. The agent seemed like he was in such a rush and couldn't get me out fast enough. He did not seemed bothered at all.
After being told that our offer was accepted and they would take the house off the market once we paid for a surveyor to view the property and once we got a AIP.
We sent the surveyor in and they day we were going to get the report back and AIP, we were told that we had been outbid and we would have to increase our offer, even though the people who put the new offer in didn't even have a surveyors report.
Not only did I waste my time and money, the agent took his sweet time replying to our emails and didn't even answer all our questions.
This is not an agent I will deal with again in the future.
