Got a good valuation from the lovely Janice and a positive experience followed. Had some issues with the solicitor which Aimee sorted out for us, her communication throughout the process was fantastic. We also dealt with Beth who also was extremely helpful. Clients need to know what's happening as sometimes it feels like all has come to a standstill, this is where Hunters excelled, their communication was always prompt and positive even when we felt we were being nuisances, nothing was too much trouble, they did work for us that should have been done by the solicitor and this speeded everything along so that we didn't lose our buyer. We had problems which we couldn’t manage on our own but Hunters were there for us all the time and treated us with greatest respect.Aimee, was exceptional and deserves praise.She involved her superiors, our vendors and their solicitors and eventually our solicitors and we completed finally end of May. Unfortunately Hunters can sell themselves better than your property. This was my experience in summer of 2022 property bungalow would sell itself due to location. I had to chase them up for feedback and to ascertain amount or lack of viewings. It didn't sell.

When my elderly parent's original vendor pulled out at the last minute, they popped into Hunters to ask if they had any bungalows up for sale.
Amy showed them 2 that met their requirements, she also told them about 1 which was to go on the market the following day.

Totally disgusted at my treatment by this franchise. They decided it was a great idea to include a photo of the entire frontage of my house in sale details for another property they are attempting to sell. Spun a pathetic yarn about not being able to take a photo showing a garage without including my house. Absolute garbage, the garage in question is to the right hand side of the property for sale and my house is to the left side( with my drive in between!), they cropped the photo for a few days then put the original back on the internet. Obviously they want to include my home to paint a picture of a pleasant residential road and they don’t give a damn about the gross invasion of my privacy. The CEO phoned when I requested the photo be amended . I was distinctly underwhelmed, was I meant to be in awe of him? Sadly for him I wasn’t and just see the company as hard nosed scoundrels who will stop at nothing to get a sale. Shame on you Hunters of Filey.

We placed our holiday home for sale with Hunters, Filey. They were excellent and found a number of prospective buyers. However the sale to one of the Hunters buyers fell through due to the buyers inability to arrange suitable finance and the resort where the holiday home was located had a buyer waiting so we were able to complete. Hunters at Filey, given the circumstances were excellent and I would have no issue fully recommending them to others. I have sold two houses this year and Hunters Filey kept in touch, informed of when viewings were happening and do not charge the higher rates others do, and gave at least as good as service, if not better. They were head and shoulders above our other house sale.

Me and my partner recently bought our house from Hunters. Samantha dealt with us from the start and we were given fantastic service, from the first meeting to the final phone call she was extremely helpful and professional and she always had a smile on her face and a happy attitude. My partner even requested Samantha to swap with another colleague that was supposed to be showing us round because my partner felt so at ease around her and comfortable!
The sale went smoothly and we were updated with everything along the way.

Nicole Wood, Director at the Filey branch of Hunters, has provided a superb and professional sales service to us.
Her initial valuation of the property proved to be very accurate and she clearly has a very good understanding and grasp of the local market. Our property is a high value country residence so we wanted to ensure the agents marketing it could proactively target the type of client who would be interested. Nicole's strategy proved to be highly effective and within a few weeks we had two sets of potential buyers seriously interested. She filtered out others who may have been interested but were not likely to be buyers.
She took a portfolio of photographs for the sales materials and put a number of hours into filtering and selecting with us the best sets for both brochure and Rightmove. We were impressed with the way in which she differentiated between these and the sensitivity of presentation. Our buyers have remarked on the quality of these pictures and effective property description. Interestingly, like many experienced buyers these days they had unearthed photos on the internet from previous sales of our property and remarked that they would not have been attracted to the house by looking at these.
Nicole worked tirelessly to keep our buyers informed and updated during the crucial period prior to exchange of contract. She responded proactively to our enquiries and made herself available at short notice.
One of the areas of her activity we were particularly impressed by was the way she engaged with the agents for the property we are purchasing. We had not expected Hunters to provide such a good liaison service.
Overall, we would highly recommend Hunters, assuming all their staff and branches operate to the same high standards as at Filey.
