Although the chain in our sale collapsed, we have nothing but praise for the entire team at Jackson-Stops. The support in the process was continuous, all staff made themselves available and were pleasant and courteous. The brochures produced are of a very high standard and reflect the agency as a whole. The Director Mr Philip is enthusiastic, energetic, and promoted a good working relationship with the well integrated team.

Selling a house can be a very stressful experience and its important to have an experienced and sensitive partner to help see you through the process. Jackson Stops in Bury St Edmunds did not disappoint and all members of Matt's team were attentive and professional throughout. I would recommend Jackson Stops in Bury St Edmunds based on the experience I had with them selling my father’s house last year. Our timing was unfortunate and the first buyer found dropped out, probably due to the general market conditions. JS were able to fairly swiftly find another buyer, albeit at a much reduced price due to the change in market conditions. Overall a good result and I found Charlie friendly, helpful and easy to deal with.

We chose Jackson-Stops for our recent house sale specifically because of Matt, who had helped us in a previous transaction. On both occasions we were extremely impressed by Matt's professionalism, added to his friendliness, charm and genuine interest in both us and the property. We always felt that our interests were shared by him and that everything he said and did was in our best interests. Matt ensured that all stages of the sale went smoothly - never an easy task when there are complex issues and delays - and we felt totally supported by his knowledge of detail and ability to explain the situation. Matt is a real human being with a genuine personality and absolutely no guile or smarm. We would use him again tomorrow - except that we want to stay in our new house!

When moving to Suffolk from Hertfordshire to a wonderful property, Matt was always there for us, even through difficult negotiations where our estate agents and solicitors should have taken the lead, Matt stepped in to try to expedite the buying process. We decided to sell our first house in Bury St Edmunds after renting it out for the past 6 years - having used the Jackson Stopps rental team we had already met Matthew Cutting and was impressed with his professional and engaging manner - it was then an easy decision to appoint him to handle our sale - he was responsive as to how we wished to present our former home and achieved an agreed sale within a week on going on the market - unfortunately the buyer’s cash sale fell through but within 24 hrs of going back on the market Matthew has elicited a second offer which was accepted. Matthew’s local knowledge then came to the fore as he advised of a potential delay from a previous sale involving a tardy response from the management company - he kept prompting both Solicitors to chase this up which achieved the desired result - I am a retired Chartered Quantity Surveyor and have previously been somewhat ambivalent of my property colleagues - would I use Matthew and his team again? Most certainly yes ????-
