Nick Talbot , Director and his whole team were excellent right from the start. Instructed Nick on the Monday, very professional photos and energy survey done on Tuesday, went ' live' on Wednesday afternoon on Right Move, first viewing Friday ( of several that weekend) . Deal done and sold ( STC of course) Tuesday at ASKING price. You don't need to under sell yourself to achieve this result but do be guided by Nick, he really knows his ' stuff '.... Read more

I have recently bought a house that was marketed by Jackson Stops in York. Obviously reviews of agents are normally provided by the seller rather than the purchaser but in this instance I felt obliged to leave a positive review even though, strictly speaking, I was not really the customer. Our property purchase was handled by Nick Talbot at the York office and he worked tirelessly and with seemingly limitless tact, patience, diplomacy and consummate professionalism in decidedly trying circumstances to successfully conclude the transaction. The seller was, shall I say, a somewhat challenging individual and the purchase was fraught from the outset. In spite of that, Nick nevertheless navigated matters all the way to the successful end and in this particular case that was no mean feat. Due to the actions of the seller, the purchase was in danger of falling through on a number of occasions and it is really only down to Nick that it got over the line. I doubt in fact that the seller ever really grasped just how much Nick did to keep the sale alive on their behalf. I’d recommend him unhesitatingly. He doesn’t know this yet but my parents are planning to market their house soon and I will ensure they use him.... Read more

We have recently sold a residential property and glamping business through Jackson Stops. The previous year we had unsuccessfully tried using one of the online agencies. This year we decided to resort to an old fashioned high street estate agents, this was because we knew we had an unusual sale (possibly with complications) and we found that online agents just don't offer the personal touch and customer rapport. We felt that Jackson Stops offered an extremely high level of sales and marketing skills along with understanding the business and lifestyle opportunity we were offering in our sale. The entire office staff were all very good, but I would like to single out the Sales Director, Nick Talbot, who we trusted with negotating the sale and hand holding the process and our buyers from offer to completion. Jackson Stops may not be the cheapest estate agency out there, but we felt that their professionalism and quality of service was well worth the fee (indeed they worked for it). We would highly recommend Jackson Stops and would have no hesitation in using them again.... Read more

Our property was not an easy sell. We had several agents to see it and advise us. Jackson-Stops were by a distance the most impressive and above all else enthusiastic. Ours was a country property with still quite a bit to do in order to bring it to 'walk in standard'. Understandably the buyers wanted the price to reflect this. Mr Talbot really showed all his experience nursing us through what could have been a trauma. He took over and brokered a mutually acceptable deal between both parties.
