Beware!.Do Not Use Recomended Solicitors by John Francis Estate Agents!
Purchasing house through John Francis Estate Agents in Tenby. Manager Martin, " Highley Recommended using Solicitors through them.
No Sale, No Fee!!. We went ahead with Countrywide Conveyancing. We paid up front 399 pounds. Days later Howels Solicitors on behalf of Countrwide, contacted us requiring 50 pounds for search. We Paid the 50 pounds.
Surveyers Report came back. Very costly repairs needed.
We contacted Howells immediately to inform them of Cancelation of purchase of house. Asked for Refund of 399 pounds. They had not received this money, only 50 pounds. They instructed me to Contact John Francis.
Contacted Manager, Martin, at John Francis Estate Agents Tenby. Martin told me, "He would get back to me". After several days. Called into Office to be told by Manager, Martin to contact Howels Solicitors for the 50 pounds, as Countrywide had done the searches??. We were Not entitled to any money back. BEWARE!!. John Francis Estate Agents are part of The Countrywide Conveyancing Group.
DO NOT TRUST John Francis Estate Agents on Recomendations for Solictors. As soon as you pay 399 pounds. It has Gone! If you have to withdraw from purchase.

Delighted with the service from John Francis Tenby Office who oversaw our sale STC in August and Subsequent completion in November 22. They gave us and our buyer great communication throughout the sale, keeping us informed and up to date with everything. They are a great team but our contact was mainly with Shara who was excellent!

Having dealt with numerous estate agents over the years I can honestly say that John Francis in tenby have offered the best and most professional service compared to any others . In particular Shara could not have been any more informative and kept me up date constantly . Would only recommend John Francis going forward .

Phoned with an offer on a house as I had an offer on mine ... heard nothing back at all in the mean time the buyers pulled out on me as I couldn't accept it till I knew on my offer ... totally gutted at time ... my esate agent couldn't believe it ... a total joke

We as a family are very grateful for all the help they have given us through a very stressful move as we were moving from Gloucester to the tenby we were kept informed all along the process wish that could be said for the agent who was selling our property.
Even after it all started to unravel and a move looked unlikely they helped find a solution which enabled us to move into our dream house

A vulnerable friend of mine has just been charged a non returnable £240.00 fee for a credit check and the agent wanted to charge an extra £100 more for the deposit/bond than was requested by the owner of the property in Laugharne. This complaint pertains to the office handling the Laugharne area. Would give no stars but apparently have to give them something.
