I am very disappointed with the service I received. I provided all the information and documents requested and waited several weeks while the referencing process was being dealt with. In the end, my application was refused, but I was not given a clear explanation of exactly which requirement I failed to meet.<br><br>I understand that the final decision may be the landlord’s, but I believe applicants deserve a clear and honest explanation, especially after providing all the requested information and waiting for several weeks.<br><br>Unfortunately, my experience with this agency was very frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this service based on my experience<br><br>They don’t deserve event one star !

First off I fell for the “we have buyers wanting properties like yours”. They never materialised.
Secondly when we asked for feedback on the few viewings we had we were told they couldn’t be contacted.
I think all they did was stick it on Right Move and that was that.
On occasions we walked down the high street we noticed the property wasn’t in the window.
Lastly the phones at times were not working, not getting answered, not good if you are wanting to arrange a viewing.
I would not recommend John Francis to any one.

I couldn’t recommend John Francis’s lettings department in Carmarthen more highly.<br><br>After a strenuous and complicated move from the city to Wales, which involved a lot of intricate and further unavoidable complications, I felt so safe and welcomed by the lettings team here in Carmarthen that it made up for all the other trials and tribulations (e.g. damaged property from the removal team, etc.).<br><br>Ruth and Martynas, in particular, went out of their way to help. It was beyond anything I have ever experienced. They helped me settle into my new home through their hands-on communication with the landlord and even proactive personal help.<br><br>Generally speaking, it really feels like the lettings department here has a big heart, just as much as it has professional rigour and an amazing work ethic.<br><br>Should I ever be so lucky as to let out a property through an estate agent in Wales, I will, without hesitation, choose John Francis.<br><br>The staff there have set a precedent in terms of reliability, approachability, compassion and trustworthiness.<br><br>The latter is a particularly hard thing to seemingly come by these days and is often not associated with estate agents, so I’m all the more grateful for having rented a flat through them and for having had this experience.<br><br>Thank you again for providing me with such a wonderful start to this new timeline here in Wales.

The team at John Francis were great with me and the sale of my house. Which was difficult due to solicitors and other factors the team were always there with advice help and getting things sorted would definitely recommend them if you're thinking of selling

Purchased a property in Llandysul through JF Lampeter and they were excellent! I used their mortgage advisor and solicitors team and it made everything simple from start to finish. Will definitely be calling them up in the future when I need to sell!
