Broadly this estate agent over promised on the sell-ability of our home which they then under delivered on the result. Many confident thoughts and expression ultimate were not delivered. Communication was patchy, very good on viewings but many excuses too on responses to us and many times emails exchanges began with excuses and apologies reading back over them. We were disappointed many viewings were conducted by a part time employee who was not sell versed in the property characteristics and surrounding area and broadly didn't help sell the property when viewers asked questions.

Someone at this branch cold called us to enquire if we were interested in selling or moving. We explained we hadn't considered it. The caller was persistent but polite and talked us into a no obligation visit and valuation. We showed someone around the house and spent some time chatting. The individual said he would come back to us with a valuation but never did and we never heard from them since. This is poor, unprofessional behaviour and not what I would have expected from Knight Frank. There are far better, more knowledgeable and personable local agents in the area than these guys.
UPDATE: Further to Knight Frank's request below I contacted the lady at Knight Frank. She was very pleasant and having checked her records confirmed the facts and agreed this had not been followed up. She was embarased to admit the person at fault was one of the partners and said someone would follow up for sure, but that was over a month ago. This only reinforces my opinion of the lack of professsionalism at this branch and dare I say arrogance.

Could this outfit be the inspiration for Channel 4’s lowbrow comedy “Stath Lets Flats”?
With a track record of poor behaviours, it comes as no surprise that Knight Frank recently breached the 2007 planning regulations governing the conduct of estate and lettings agents. All agents are aware of these regulations as a failure to comply with them constitutes a criminal offence. With the sole exception of Knight Frank, the estate and lettings agents in Beaconsfield are in compliance. Presumably Knight Frank think they are above the law. We have engaged with the local authority, local councillors and council leader about the ongoing poor – and in this case, criminal – behaviours of Knight Frank. Would you really want this outfit to act on your behalf?
The following was posted at an earlier date:
Despite many requests not to, Knight Frank staff and agents continued parking on our private driveway, thereby blocking access to properties on our estate. Such “me first” behaviour contrasts starkly with the considerate nature of the people who live here. We ended up having to notify the police about harassment and a member of staff from Knight Frank has been permanently excluded.
Cached web pages show that the property Knight Frank manages was advertised to let for nearly 5 months, in which time the rate was dropped until finally it was advertised as under offer. The tenants who eventually moved in must have been delighted at having bagged a bargain. At the same time, new tenants moved into an identical property just over 2 weeks after it was put on the market by another agent at more than 8% above the rate last advertised by Knight Frank. Since then another identical property has been let in less than 3 weeks. What does this say about Knight Frank’s marketing capability?
Earlier this year we had to ask the owner of the property to pay the annual maintenance charge, as Knight Frank had not done so.
We deal with 3 other agents in Beaconsfield; in our view they are head, shoulders and knees above Knight Frank.

Harry Prynn was an excellent point of contact for my wife and I in buying a property in Beaconsfield. He was diligent, on hand at all times and quick in relaying messages between us and the vendor. I think we probably asked more than most buyers but there was never a grumble from Harry and he exemplified excellent customer service. I can’t rate his work highly enough and the other members of the Beaconsfield team I dealt with were always extremely helpful and friendly. I would strongly recommend Harry as an excellent example of a well rounded and knowledgeable estate agent. I would have no hesitation in using the KF Beaconsfield office again.

I saw three different estate agents and was given a variety of valuations for my 5 bedroom new build in Berkhamsted. The lowest by far was Fine and Country, Knight Frank came in at the top and I was dubious due to variance. However Oliver Beales seemed very confident that his valuation was correct and sure enough I agreed a sale very close to asking price after just 4 weeks and the sale went through without any issues. Needless to say I was extremely happy with the service received from Oliver at Knight Frank and very glad I went with them. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

As a new landlord, I have found the lettings department at Knight Frank a pleasure to work with. From the very start of our renovation, they took interest in the work we were doing and offered helpful advice and encouragement. This was many months before any commercial discussions, and was in sharp contrast to other agents in the area. We listed the property with Knight Frank and no one else. We didn't need to. They found us a tenant within 2 weeks of listing and we are delighted with the outcome. Suzy, Tina and the lettings team have been friendly, helpful, accessible and efficient. I could not have asked for a better agent. And I don't say that lightly.
