We have had a fantastic experience with Leaders Maypole. Everybody we spoke to was quick to respond and extremely friendly - as first time buyers, we never felt like our questions were too silly. We had been told that buying a home would the most stressful time of our lives, but Leaders really helped to alleviate that. We also have to thank them for their completely unnecessary but deeply appreciated help with moving a particularly unwieldy piece of furniture out of the property. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ESTATE AGENT. I have had so many problems with them, from handing tenants the wrong keys then turning to charge landlord to replace lock instead of admitting they lost the keys, to what is so surreal, lending your property to drug dealers growing weed. It is just unbelievable, avoid at all cost don’t be fooled by their sweet talks.

If I ever sold a house again I would definitely use Leaders of Maypole, a faultless service. The manager Sue's enthusiasm, advice and attention to detail left me in no doubt that she had my best interests at heart and would achieve the best possible price. I was not disappointed, from the professional staging of the property (resulting in outstanding photos), through many viewings to auction day, Sue's Team (Emma, Maleek and Dave) were excellent. When I accidently left a painting hanging, Maleek went the extra mile (literally) to retrieve it and deliver it to my relative. If you are looking for a friendly, professional and reliable estate agent then look no further.

My mother’s house sale was completed today by Leaders Estates Maypole. The service from day 1 has been excellent. Throughout the process I was kept informed by various members of staff at different stages of the sale. Everything was carried out at a steady pace allowing plenty of time to sort the house clearance and paperwork. I would definitely recommend Leaders at the Maypole for all areas but particularly the B14 area. My thanks to all concerned for making, what is a sad thing to have to do after our Mother’s passing, a necessary job made much easier and very friendly too.

After a year of very stressful house hunting they helped us to get our offer accepted, and the sale was completed within 8 weeks. We have completed the sale of our property this morning and I have to say that the staff at leaders Maypole were amazing from the initial valuation with Sue Robinson and her being the face of leaders, from the start she was professional, warm and friendly and instilled full confidence from the off. We had no thinking to do with who to go with, it was leaders there and then. Within two days the board was up and the property sold within a couple of days. Sue Carter the move manager also was excellent with her negotiation skills and regular updates on the progress. Today We've collected the keys to our house, and could not be happier, we’ve received nothing but an amazing service and good communication all though out the process, professional approach from every member of the team.
After viewing 3 properties with Leaders, the fourth one was the one we fell in love with, Kane from “Maypole-Leaders” never gave up on us, he promised he will continue to support us and he did.
After a slight turbulence, Sue (the manager) re-assured us everyone was working hard behind the scenes, they kept the whole thing ticking over smoothly.
Coming to the end of the journey, the one Friday evening, Sue stayed behind working the phones, and emails, phoning everyone in the chain, making sure everyone was on the same page, different vendors and solicitors and removal companies.
Come Monday morning, the process was on track and on the final leg of a long journey.
Also, I must give a special thank you to Kerry, Kerry was instrumental in getting us to the finishing line. Kerry was in touch with all the parties on daily basis, checking where they were in the timeline and how far they are in the process.
All an all, If I ever need a Estate agent again, I wouldn’t look past Maypole Leaders. they set the standards in every category.

We originally put our house on the market with another so called leading agent. Whilst we started optimistic, we realised that by only having one viewing in 45 day, that we had made the wrong decision. Myself and my wife decided to contact Leaders at the maypole. We were the put in touch with Stuart Jenkins. Stuart not only gave us the advice that we needed but also understood our individual needs. We needed to move urgently due to our career commitments and whilst no promises were made, he felt that our property was saleable and instilled in us, the confidence that the job would be done in a quick and precise manner. Sure enough, 4 days later, Stuart delivered with 3 offers of which one we accepted. In little over two months, we have now exchanged and are due to move to our new home in the country tomorrow. Today my partner and I collected the keys for our house. Leaders Estate Agents, and in particular their office manager Daniel, delivered one of the most appalling experiences of customer service I have ever experienced from any business.
To hook me in with an agreement to market my property with them, they overvalued my property by £30,000, advising they had a list of buyers interested in my immediate area. With few viewings and within less than a fortnight, they advised me to drop the price despite the fact it was them that told us what the house would sell for.
They took photos so poor that my wife and I had to take our own photos and send them to have the sales particulars updated. They forgot to include a floorplan, omitted key features of the property and had to be prompted at every viewing to go and obtain feedback.
When visiting for a second time to deal with complaints, Dan fed me nothing but platitudes and empty promises that they'd follow up with an improved service. With no progress after another month we were left with no choice but to terminate the agreement and appoint a other local agent. Things came to a head when in conversation with my wife, Dan advised he would contact [a name] who was looking to buy in the area and arrange a viewing. The name he quoted was my wife! He is so truly incompetent he couldn't even keep track of who he was speaking to when blurting out lie after lie after lie.
I could never recommend using this absolute sham of an operation when selling your home.

I have used Hollier Browne / Leaders since 2007 and have always found them to be professional, friendly, honest and very helpful. I have bought, let, and sold property through them and have received nothing but First Class service all the time. The team are experienced and very happy to give advice and support, especially when making difficult decisions. When I needed to, I was always able to speak to someone who can help, rather than an answerphone. I used the Property Management service whilst I was living overseas and it was fantastic - they took care of everything - even arranging repairs through local contractors at very good prices so I did not have to worry. Leaders even arranged for my property to be re-decorated and uplifted prior to sale and managed all of the works in my absence. My property sold for more than I expected - for which I cannot thank the team enough! I am extremely grateful for everything - and cannot recommend them enough to anyone in the area!
