Just great. The whole team contributed to what was not a straightforward sale with plenty of bumps (not of their making) along the way. I had previously been with another agent and only had a very few viewings. Once with Emma, Sarah and Alex, I had loads of viewings and, when that sale fell through, more potential buyers. We chose Winkworth over other local agents because of Alex's obvious experience and wealth of local knowledge and his commitment to ensuring the best interests of the sellers (us!), rather than just going for a quick sale to get his commission. He and Emma gave us really useful advice about valuation of the property, the timing of the sale and preparing the property for visits by prospective purchasers. Emma worked her magic during those visits and the property sold much more rapidly than we had expected. Little to no communication from the team. Whenever we received updates it was because we chased them. In three months we only had three viewings and were told it was because of the market, but in hindsight it was likely that it was priced too high. We were assured we would get interest at that price. Once we made the decision to leave, we never received a call or email from the team. It was as if we never had a contract in the first place. Would not recommend as they’ll likely give you an inflated price to get your business and then not keep in contact or sell your home.... Read more

Alex helped me buy a property in a difficult market; Sarah helped me let it, with great success over several years, Pamela always has a twinkle, she's a great administrator - and they are all really knowledgeable about all aspects of property purchase, letting and selling. Friendly and professional Alex had been occasionally valuing my house over the years and he always struck me as someone whom I could trust. After 15 years I decided to put my house on the market and instructed Alex to sell it for me. At every point throughout the process Alex was professional, friendly and able to put my mind at rest. Most of all I trusted his judgement and his extensive knowledge of the local area. The team at Winkworth West Norwood are very experienced, PROACTIVE with a wonderful can-do attitude, their experience and proactive approach was in SHARP contrast to the previous agent. Winkworth actively SOLD my flat, they found me the right buyer and then they actively pursued the sale, they made it happen. Without Sarah the sale would not have happened due to various nonsense by solicitors, her job was clearly to pull it altogether and she did it with a calm, unflappable, reassuring approach. If you want to sell your property don't go with an agent who thinks all they need to do is hire 'graduates', go with Winkworth who you can trust have the skills, experience and attitude to make it happen for you.... We both sold a house and bought a house through Winkworth in late 2014. On the sale, we were v pleased with the price achieved and with Alex's straightforward manner. I appreciated that Winkworth always either answered the phone or returned my calls - unlike KFH who sent me through to answerphone several times on a Saturday when i was trying to arrange viewings. Alex knows the local market well and provided us with some honest advice......at one stage he even told us not to move at all, which made me believe he was providing genuine advice rather than serving his own interests in securing the sale. On the purchase although Winkworth was acting for the seller (and not for us) we felt they were professional and we had no complaints.
