Do not go with Peter Alan!!!

I was told that they were the biggest and best estate agents in Cardiff and therefore that's why they charge the premium price. My property was on the market for 8 weeks with Peter Alan and I had 2 viewings. In that time I had around 4 cancellations, some of which were due to clerical errors from Peter Alan's side. Other cancellations Peter Alan didn't even bother to contact to say the viewing was cancelled.

Communication with Peter Alan was poor, I had to do a lot of chasing up, and even at times when they said somebody would come back to me they did not bother getting back in touch.

I was present at one viewing and there was no effort to sell the house.

When you are paying over £2000 for a service you are expecting a high quality service. I got the impression that place was badly run and basic fundamental things were not done correctly. I felt the whole experience had wasted 8 weeks of my time, and has potentially cost me purchasing a house of my own.

Great experience from start to finish. Rhys was supporting us through the process of renting our home out. He was so lovely to work with and was able to wrap the whole thing up in just a couple of weeks. Thanks for your hard work! I would definitely recommend.

I am very pleased as a landlady with the work down by Peter Alan letting team. They arranged the new tenant in less then a week time, completed the required paper works very smoothly and efficiently in that short period. Very happy with their service.

I had a great experience recently with Aneurin, I was travelling up from London for a viewing with him and he took the time to also recommend further properties for me to view which matched my criteria. One of those additional properties ended up being my dream house which I would never have seen without his input! Having had years of experience dealing with many letting agents I can safely say these guys are the best i have come across. Their honesty and communication levels are the best I have experienced!

My agent at the time had my property for 2 months with no communication or activity. The guys from Albany Road Peter Alan proactively made contact with me. It was win win for me as it didn't cost me anything until a suitable tenant was found.

The whole process from start to finish took a matter of weeks! I now have a brilliant tenant and a more than acceptable rental income.

Highly recommend them to anybody unsure or currently unhappy with their current situation, as I was!

I rang and spoke to George who promised me a call back, that never happened, I thought ok, maybe they have forgot or been too busy so I left it at that.
I rang a month later spoke to Cath who also said she'll call me back or text me, nothing back again?
Two separate properties I had interest in and on two separate occasions a promised call back never happened.
People are paying Peter Alan to sell and rent houses for them and the staff are not calling potential customers back.
They wont get a third call off me!!!

Initial contact wasn't the most inspiring when viewing a potential purchase. Received hard sell calls from their call centre who continually cited Armageddon sized problems unless we put our property from sale with them there and then wouldn't take "we'll think about it" as a end line. Had to be very blunt to stop their pushing. However, Molly Davies came onboard - what a difference in the service. Nothing to much trouble, made us believe sale and purchase was doable, set out a great plan to move things along. Hand holding offered throughout . Without this young lady who was new to the Merthyr Branch we dont thing we would have stayed with PA at all. She was exemplary.
