Prospect were able to suggest contractors to tidy up the property before sale, communicated well when doing viewings and found a committed buyer at the asking price within a few weeks of it going on the market. They also kept in touch with both sets of solicitors to make sure that the sale proceeded smoothly. We were very pleased all round.... Read more

They've never told us that the previous tenants were heavily I'll with Covid when they've left the house, and the house was never cleaned afterwards. They never granted us a second viewing, as the first one lasted only for five minutes, as the agent was late and has scheduled two viewings in the same time, whilst the tenants were outside the house, waiting to get back in their house. Lack of professionalism, lack of communication, zero interest for health and safety. As soon as they've got the deposit money and first month's rent, they didn't answer their phones. We recently bought our first home with the help of Prospect estate agents in Maidenhead. The team – Ryan, Betsy and Simondeep have been very professional and extremely helpful. Right from the beginning, we were very impressed with how resourceful and responsive they were in arranging the inspection and communicating with the seller to negotiate the sale. Beyond this, Betsy was particularly helpful in chasing the solicitors on both sides to ensure progress. We came to Prospect after our property had been on the market with another estate agent for some time without success. Simon organised several viewings in the first two weeks and after three weeks we were able to accept an offer. Negotiations leading up to exchange of contracts were protracted (not Prospect's fault in any way) and Ryan, Simon and Betsy kept us fully informed throughout and liaised with both sets solicitors efficiently. We used prospect estate agency in Maidenhead to buy a property that we really loved. It was a pain for us to get hold of the seller, however the agents at their Maidenhead branch were very helpful and thorough in getting hold of the seller throughout the buying process until exchange of contracts. Rented a property and asked for a professional cleaning, as during these delicate times, cleaning should be the norm, not the exception. I've asked for a second viewing of the property, upon agreeing on the contract, but they just lied that it will be arranged, but it hasn't happen. One day prior my move date, we've got an e-mail stating that Prospect will be only part managing, meaning they only cash the rent and all the maintenance issue and all the other queries, will have to be addressed with the landlord. Moved in, on the check-in us and the check-in clerk agreed that the property wasn't professionally cleaned (wasn't even cleaned), as you can see the pictures, except for the oven and like 80% of the fridge/freezer. Hot water isn't working, one of the bathroom taps are leaking, one of the wall outlets is coming off from the wall, even the carpets haven't been hoovered. Bathroom, well, hair on the bathtub, timescale everywhere and water marks, toilet dirty. Wardrobes were dirty inside. The whole house is smelly. And one of the smoke alarms keeps beeping, the one near the boiler. Called the landlord and she claims she has cleaned the property and she will send someone to fix the boiler. When? We don't know. She said if I am not happy, than I should find somewhere else to live... That's just after 14 hours after the move. Prospect were communicative until they've got the deposit and first month rent. Then silence. The moving clerk wasn't even answering her phone (tried business hours, like 4 times during two weeks time). This is the service they're offering.... Read more

As first-time buyers, we have had a great experience with Prospect Maidenhead so far in our purchase. We've primarily dealt with Simon, who conducted two viewings with us, the second of which he was kind enough to offer outside of business hours so that we could fit it around our work. This was massively appreciated! His great knowledge of the area also really helped us come to a decision to make an offer on the property we did, and we've consistently felt valued as customers without ever feeling pushed into rushing a decision. It's also always been really straightforward to get hold of Simon with any questions we've had, and on the couple of occasions we couldn't speak to him, another member of staff has always stepped in and been very helpful in getting us what we needed. Simon and the rest of the team have been really approachable and transparent throughout, and the level of service hasn't fallen even after having our offer accepted, when it could be very easy for a salesperson to say "job done" and move on. We've also been very pleased with the mortgage advisor recommended to us, and have proceeded with our application with minimal stress. Unable to comment on the recommended conveyancing service that we did choose to use as we've not had to have too much contact with them, but we haven't encountered any difficulties with them up until now. Huge thanks to Simon and the team for everything so far, and all going well, we're looking forward to settling into our new home in the near future!... Read more
