Just had an amazing chat with the manager from prospects stating that the agent I was using were basically rubbish, when challenged regarding his comments he stated "I'm just being honest" I then said that I don't want to do business with people who make these kind of statements, the call came to an end with him saying "well good luck" in a really condescending way.... What a way to run a company. I'm still amazed by what he said

Excellent team at Prospect. Paired up with a friend to find a two bedroom apartment in Farnborough. Chris absolutely was amazing. And the rest of the team Leslie, Claudia and Jordan have been amazing support. This is the only area of my experience in the UK so far where I had felt people judged color (some of my previous estate agents experiences still shock me) but definitely not with this team. Maybe I got unlucky with my property management person however - Sasha Steven’s but has been incompetent and rude throughout tenancy.
First issue was while I was away they was informed a tree fell on the roof of the property -sent someone round to check and assured all was fine. The day I returned the ceiling was bowing due to water damage but told me to remain in the property 6 months pregnant - good thing I didn’t as when I returned the next morning the ceiling had collapsed.
More recently with upcoming renewal she came to me suggesting rent increase all agreed on basis of some repairs fixing back gate making garden usable removing tiles from when the tree fell over a year ago. A contractor was round to give a quote after we had silence from Sasha for weeks in regards to renewal when finally she came back to us that rather than the 8% increase agreed they were revoking this and wanted a 20% rent increase.
Finally she’s sending what tries to be intimidating emails and letters that are also incorrect and could end the company in some trouble if others were to follow what she stated they have powers to do.

In our urgent hunt for a new home due to work relocation, we were misled by promises of a quick sale from the agency. Despite their encouragement, the completion date kept extending until they abruptly declared the house was off the market. This left us homeless for months, restarting our search from scratch. After what has been a difficult time to sell, Darren Winter assured us that Prospect were confident that our 2 bedroom property would sell . Once on the market, it was over to Tilly Boucher to arrange the viewings and try to sell the property. Tilly was just brilliant, very friendly, professional and excellent at co-ordinating and arranging all the viewing appointments. We had an almost daily update from her, and she was so good also at helping us with a few other issues that arose on the letting side. I felt we had a really good relationship based on honesty, understanding and friendship but always professional. Tilly did us proud as she soon secured a buyer for us with an offer for the asking price. That was in January 2024.
So now it was over to Shaun Simms who was our liaison between ourselves and our buyer. To say it’s been challenging at times is a bit of an understatement, but as with the same friendly, professional, honest & dedicated service that we had from both Darren and Tilly, the team secured that ever thankful exchange of contracts last Friday, after more than 5 months of hard work, determination and dedication. Darren & Shaun have worked so incredibly hard for us especially during the last couple of weeks. There was never any doubt that they always had our best interests at heart as they knew how much this sale meant to us. They have been supportive, dedicated, determined and it’s been their optimism that has kept us going at times when things were looking a bit doubtful. But they never gave up, even working late into the evening which was far over and above what we expected of them.
The whole team at Prospect, Tilly, Shaun and Darren have been an absolute pleasure to work with, and it is fair to say that we would not have reached this outcome had it not been for your all hard work. You all are an asset to Prospect and would not hesitate in recommending you. We truly thank you all so much and wish you all the very best for the future.

Whilst we’ve had ups and downs over this time, Marina in the last year has done an outstanding job, she’s friendly and knowledgeable and has been on hand to liaise between myself and the tenants. In addition Darren did a fabulous job selling my property (with as little distribution as possible to my tenants). We initially had our property on with Romans for 12 weeks but it didn't sell, saw that Prospect were shifting flats that had been on with other estate agents before, so we went with them. Prospect sold our flat within 10 days which was amazing. Excellent pitch at the start, really sold you on the benefits of using Prospect versus other estate agents, with demonstrable interest in properties in the local area.
We accepted an offer on our property on the first day of listing and on the same day made an offer on a new property which was also accepted (also listed with Prospect).
Unfortunately our sale fell through almost instantly, but the team managed to liaise with the vendor to keep our property off the market on condition we were actively trying to get offers on our house.
Once we'd managed to get to an accepted offer on our home, we then began the conveyancing process. Unfortunately, throughout this process it seemed that Prospect were more interested in being on the side of the vendor.
The two major issues which really soured our opinion of Prospect:
1. The property we were buying required a type of indemnity insurance for historical land usage which our solicitor confirmed should be paid for by the vendor as it is their legal requirement. Our vendor refused. Instead of putting this back onto the seller, the agent tried to pressure us into paying the fee by quoting their agreement with the vendor that "if the house was anywhere else in the area, it would be worth x amount more". Important thing to note is that if we did pay for the insurance and the seller pulled out, they would then have that documentation and it would be lost money on our part.
2. We had some items raised on the survey that we mentioned to the vendor, for which we got unsatisfactory responses. The poor responses lead to us considering whether or not to proceed. Instead of addressing these directly with the seller, transaction support continued to assure me that the owner 'wouldn't let a family member live in an unsafe house' (repeated multiple times). We've since had an electrician and a plumber come to the property unable to believe that we haven't had a serious incident in the home.
We really didn't appreciate this bias towards the seller and actually felt bullied by him via the agent. It became very apparent they had more to gain by being on his side.
On the positive side, there are a couple of team members at Prospect Farnborough that were instrumental in helping us complete our move and to whom we are very grateful:
Shaun was excellent from start to finish on both sale and purchase, and did a brilliant job talking the seller round on the aforementioned insurance issue. He was always calm and reassuring and was a pleasure to deal with.
Tilly was great, coordinating and undertaking many of the viewings at our property, with the offer on our sale coming through a bulk batch of appointments she had arranged. She was always courteous and we are forever grateful for her part in securing the sale on our property.

I would highly advise against using Prospect’s estate agents.
Jordan was brilliant to start with in securing my business, but as soon as the contract was signed it was a downhill experience.
I was let down, pressured into making decisions and spending money very early on by both the estate agents and the “Transaction Support Team” and lied too.
As a result I am heavily out of pocket, with nothing to show for it except additional stress and no empathy or understanding from the Prospect team.
To make it even more difficult, I was unable to make a formal complaint as the person I wanted to complain about was the person responsible for receiving complaints

I have been very impressed by the Prospect Farnborough Team, especially Darren Winter and Shaun Sims. They are professional, knowledgeable and very likeable! I think Estate Agents often forget this important aspect of selling which seems strange, as if the vendor likes the agent, the buyers will too - job done!
We had originally used Prospect a short time before Covid hit and had to take our property off the market fairly quickly. I had always promised Darren we would return once things were getting back to normal and we did not hesitate to make Prospect Farnborough our ONLY call to get our house back on the scene. They have not disappointed us, super video skills from Darren and super warm friendly skills from Shaun!

I wish I could give 0 points if I could. The worse estate agency ever been with. I lived in a rented flat for more than 3 years them being the so called property managers. Whenever repairs needed to be done in the flat we lived in it literally took ages for the job to get done (2-3 months minimum whits lots of chasing) . They even left us more than 3 weeks with none of the toilets in the property flushing at all — did not bother to repair anything at all.
No wonder we decided to finish the renting contract with them, gave the proper 2month + notice and moved in another property . All they did at the end was TO REFUSE TO GIVE US BACK THE DEPOSIT!!! Completely disgusted with them!! Convenient for landlord as well to upgrade things in the flat with our deposit money.
Beware and avoid as you will loose everything with them : both your time and your money. And all you get is stress and headaches all the way.

The point being, yes, they are estate agents but this group remembers that you are a human being as well as a customer. This forms a positive, and professional relationship in an environment where you can do good worthwhile business.

Awful, awful property management team. Currently living in shared accommodation and have reported various things that need to be repaired as requested by the property management team to do so, but the lack of response is shocking. Also, completely unwilling to assist with fellow occupants consuming illegal substances on the property, which any normal landlord would instantly deal with to preserve the value of their property. If you're someone who is looking to rent, stay well clear of Prospect because it is more hassle than it's worth, if I could give less than 1 star, I would.

I had my property marketed by a large local agent, who had it on their books for 397 days with no successful sale.
I decide to change tactics and try Prospects. Shaun called me within 24 hours of me requesting a callback, and within a few days Darren was at my property. He spent several hours with me talking through my options, taking photos, and doing a video walkthrough. Darren ensured he followed all relevant COVID precautions, and was incredibly personable.
Before Darren had even returned to the office I already had a viewing booked, and within 5 days the property was sold after a further 2-3 viewings. This all happened before the "For Sale" board was put up outside !
It goes to show that just because there's a powerhouse estate agent in your area, who tells you they sell the most properties in the area, and you see their boards everywhere, doesn't mean the best route is to use them. I have learned from my mistake !
Prospects were very attentive, answered all my questions, and provided immediate feedback on viewings (something I did not get from the other agent, and would sometimes take 3+ days of me calling to get an answer).

Prospect came up with a sensible valuation for our property (which we benchmarked with other agents), took some good photos and got it onto the market within a couple of days. In the following week or so, we had probably 10 viewings and a couple of offers, one of which was close to the asking price and which we accepted. The buyers had been well qualified and were able to complete within 3 months of the property going on to the market. All this was done for a competitive fee (which we benchmarked with other agents). We were very pleased with these timescales and with the professionalism of Prospect. Darren is very "salesy" (in a good way) - the sort of guy you want on your team when you go into bat. A very positive experience and I would recommend Prospect.

For me, a Property Management Agency is only as good as the staff that run it. I have been with Prospects for many years and always found they provide a good service. I have been lucky to have an excellent Property Manager in Carla Munro who I have been dealing with for many years. She is thorough, always accessible, diligent, knowledgeable and very helpful at all times. I can go directly to her anytime to sort out issues and for advice. I get regular inspection reports and assistance with maintenance issues and I am pretty sure my tenants are also happy to deal with Carla and her staff. I can leave the management of my properties in their capable hands.

Wouldn't recommend renting with prosect. They moved me into a flat with no heating. Cancelled appointments to fix issue with an hours notice. Taken 3 months to fix 1 radiator. Only in the flat 5 weeks into renting and ive had to deal with potential new buyers when they stated in writing it was not going to be for sale as im renting it. Lied to me on several occasions. Then lied to council members saying the heating works and told buyers i don't know how to work the heating. Sending inventory 5 weeks after moving in. Worst estate agents I've ever come across. Very unprofessional leaving clients in the property unsupervised. Worst company to deal with.

A really positive experience viewing properties with Prospect Farnborough.
Dan reached out to us proactively to discuss properties that had become available in recent weeks which were great fits for our search criteria, and shared video tours where they were available.
The subsequent viewings were scheduled around our availability with Dan arriving early and staying late to guide the viewings, and everything went ahead as planned (not always the case!). Feedback was requested during the viewing itself and also after we had had time to reflect.
Whilst we did not buy a property through Prospect on this occasion (purely down to personal preference, the properties viewed were fantastic options), having seen Dan’s commitment to his portfolio, we’d definitely recommend to buyers and sellers alike.

Yes, choose Darren at Prospect! Darren has always been pro-active, intelligence-led and professional - and he's done that largely alone during the unprecedented market conditions that we are experiencing now.
Pro-active because he identifies problems and solutions before you know they have even arisen and then presents you with the best advice. Intelligence-led because he looks for information which he then turns into useful intelligence in order to inform the clients' situational awareness and decision-making. In practical terms that means you know what's happening and why, from an authoritative source. Darren is professional and always maintains his level-headed approach, even when others do not, which is especially important in these testing times.
We instructed a 'virtual online estate agency' first because I was cynical about spending £5k on a local high street estate agent. After 12 months of Brexit market uncertainty we instructed Prospect and we're glad we did because the market simply got worse with Covid 19. The market plummeted and Darren had to work with only a fraction of his staff and with the staff at other agencies and solicitors' practices. It's obvious that getting the offer on the house is only a third of the job; by far the most important work is after the offer to make sure that the deal goes through. Darren is a finisher and he'll be unstoppable when his team re-assembles after Covid.
Darren is also open and honest and I wish I could have joined him for that barbeque and beer when we finally completed. Never thought I'd say that about an estate agent! Cheers.

I have found Shaun, Darren, and Simon before them, to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in all matters relating to the sale of my property in Aldershot.
Their valuation was spot on and not overpriced in an attempt to gain my business like a certain other more popular estate agent in the area.
I would have preferred a brief update after each viewing on my property as this was a little inconsistent but otherwise i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
They will listen to you and your idea's, act promptly upon them if its to the benefit of the property, they also helped provide me with an excellent mortgage advisor!

Had viewings with Aiden. I would describe Aiden as professional, calm and collective. He demonstrates high levels of professionalism when interacting with clients. He is knowledgable about the properties that he is responsible for and if unsure about questions is quick to respond.
Most estate agents receive a bad name due to their push selling methods or constate badgering. This is not the case for Aiden or the prospect team. They fully understood my requirements and actively listened.
Aiden was also willing to go the extra mile by staying late to ensure that my offer was accepted and contacting the relevant people to begin the process of buying my property. So far good working practices and professionalism.
