The chap who we first saw seemed very straightforward and easy to deal with. He didn't seem to be trying to impress us particularly, just being straightforward. He was probably in his forties and had been in the trade for quite a while and was the owner of the Seymours franchise which we thought was a good sign. He was never pushy throughout the process and his team members were of the same ilk. Straightforward, easy to talk to and helpful. Once the house went on the market they got a lot of viewings in in a short time, so they were obviously good at attracting potential buyers. Oh, and I was offered 1% commission + VAT without even have to negotiate. This was important, but the overall feel of Seymours was more important. Communication was generally good, it was easy to talk to someone when I needed to.

Seymours worked tirelessly to sell our property and achieved a good price in the end despite competition. They negotiated really well at the end when we had 2 buyers making offers. They were patient and positive through a fairly long process and their follow up work to ensure the sake proceeded with a dedicated member of office based staff was really appreciated. Probably the best estate agent I have ever dealt with and I have sold 5 times before. Would highly recommend.
