We personally dealt with Amy Beaton, who we HIGHLY recommend. But while we ultimately found our future home through another agency, she was amazing at walking us through the process, keeping us informed on potential timelines, recommending properties that could suit our needs, and was just overall an awesome person to work with. I'm sad we weren't able to get her the credit she deserved with a successful let contract, but she was still great and I was so appreciative.
If you're American mil looking to let, William H Brown agents really pull it out to get you into a rental that suits your family. We felt supported by this business, and as you know from PCSing, sometimes it feels like international agents are just completing performative dance to insert your bodies in a space they want you to be. This experience was NOT that.
Great experience. Fast email response time for all the different properties we looked at online. We talked to three separate agents from William H. during our home search, and all three humans were incredibly kind.

Had a pretty terrible experience with William h Brown and as a result after 20 weeks on the market our property didnt sell so we took it off the market.
We had very little feedback on viewings and most of the time no feedback and if it wasnt for our ring doorbell we wouldnt even of known the viewings happened.
We felt the staff didnt do anything other than put our property on rightmove in regards to trying to get us a buyer. Never offered any advice on things to change to help with finding a buyer.
Also feel they didnt even know what came with the property as even after 17 weeks we could hear on the door camera potential buyers asking if the land outside the front of the property (the front garden) came with the property and they never said yes they always said we will find out for you.
so as a seller i would never recommend the Mildenhall branch especially as we worked out they charge the highest fees and tie you to the longest contracts too.

Great experience selling my property through William H Brown in Mildenhall. From Ben who valued our house through to Daryl who dealt with the sale right the way through to completion I have had a first class experience. I had struggled to sell my property for 3 months prior to selling it with William H Brown- always keeping me updated throughout and they got people viewing my property, which resulted in a sale.
Daryl in particular was absolutely superb, especially as the sale was being dealt with by the solicitors- nothing was too much trouble and even printed documents, brought them round to sign, acted as our witness and even called round at short notice to get our ID to send to the solicitors and help speed up the process. Daryl was also a great go-between, between us, the buyers, solicitors and other estate agents in the chain. They said they'd sell it and totally lived up to this- completing a couple of days ago, meaning I was able to take advantage of the stamp duty holiday! Top job all at the William H Brown office in Mildenhall.

Well our journey began in September 2020 and though it wasn't a great experience this was more to do with the seller than the estate agent. Daryl has been great throughout our experience and kept my wife sane throughout the loss of the 1st property to us moving in with Mandy daughter and then the subsequent purchase of the 2nd property. Buying this house should had been straight forward, especially as the seller was purchasing an empty house themselves. However this being in September 2020 we all thought this would be complete by December 2020, how wrong were we!
Recently I finally pulled out of my purchase after 6 months of constant lies, no call backs, no updates, various stories from the agent.
In their own words (and this is word for word from Becky that works there) "we only advertise and hold the keys, we just leave the solicitors to it"
Wow, for an industry that involves commission you would think it would be the estate agents best interest to make sure the property they are selling all goes through?!?!?!
Many occasions I was told I would receive an update, however several times over a week went by before I would have to chase myself.
Daryl asked for my solicitors details after 5 months into the purchase, even though he had an email trail with my solicitor....
Recently I asked the question if the resident would move into a family members house or rented while the sale progressed, I was told by Daryl that he had no family nearby and renting was out the question as the owner had a child. However, a week later I instructed my solicitor to pull out and in less than 24 hours Ben (the manager) called and advised the owner would move into a family members house or would I let him rent the property from me. Somehow suddenly the owner had family locally, a lie has been told somewhere there.
Ben then also made me aware that there were works taking place at the buyers house they were purchasing, this was news to me and I questioned why has this only been brought up etc, I received the reply "it doesn't matter". Absolutely shocking answer to receive!
Other examples of incompetence, passing my details to the wrong solicitor twice! I had already gave my details and the purchase was underway, however 3 months later the same incorrect solicitor got in touch with me, my details had been passed over twice by William H Brown.
Daryl informed me that some document had been sent twice in December to my solicitor, this was 100% untrue as the documents eventually come mid January and were in fact signed and dated January.
I would never recommend this estate agent to purchase through, I wouldn't dare sell through them as it would mean paying for their 'service'.
Furthermore I was purchasing this property to let out, surely the estate agent would want to give a good impression so that I would consider (not that I would) using them as a management company.
On another recent occasion I asked to view an additional property for myself and my fiance.
I called Daryl on the Friday who said viewings were taking place on the Saturday, however he would arrange something for me.
On the Saturday my fiance called and spoke to Tom, he was only capable of taking details and message as Daryl was currently at the viewings.
Wednesday came and neither of us had received a call to which my fiance called and spoke to Daryl. Apparently Daryl had no details given and no apology was given as to why she wasn't called. On the same call she was then told an offer had been accepted!
As for myself, I called on the Thurs/Fri and asked Daryl when my viewing would be. Daryl seemed to had forgotten I wanted a viewing and informed me an offer had been accepted.
Right there you see 2 people called for a viewing and neither were called back, 1 was told an offer had been accepted while the other had to find out 2 days later even though they had called first.
Again this is clearly an example of "we just advertise and hold the keys"

Wanted to view a property as first time buyers, had the money to spend.. even would of gone over the asking price but the so called agent ( Daryl Manning) did everything possible to not let us view the property until we had spoken to “Their” broker. When we said no as already have it sorted then we was told we have to show an AIP just to VIEW the property! Which is completely false information !! And no legal obligation to make us do so ! I honestly thought this kind of pressure selling tactics and anything to up their commission died in the 80s along with there cut throat slimy image. Complaint has been made with head office but I don’t hold any hope of them changing ! Not had any apology from lying don’t have time for first time buyers Daryl Manning ! No wonder the properties they represent in mildenhall have been up for sale for an extremely long time causing the vendors they so call look after to reduce asking prices. But this won’t make any difference if agents are blocking genuine buyers from just viewings !! Agents need to be re educated and dragged into 2021 !! And treat first time buyers with respect and not money making machines.
TRUST PILOT rates these agents as very low ! And I wish I had read all the reviews before contacting Daryl manning who has made us feel totally worthless as first time buyers ! I will be informing the vendors that we was blocked from viewing their property which we wanted to buy and had more than enough capital to do n so and should re think their agent choice !

To date we have had to chase, call, email and argue and still nothing, no deposit return despite the landlord approving it weeks ago. This morning we spoke to 2 different people who told us 2 different stories: Story 1: their systems have been down and they have not made any deposit returns for 48 hours, and Story 2: they only make new tenant deposit returns at the end of the month, and as we are "old" tenants having been there for 3 years, this won't happen till net week. Come on WH Brown and Sequence Group. Is cash flow that tight?

I'm not sure if this is down to communication or something, but I would also call back in an hour or so and Jake would have my answer. That is my only complaint about his services as an estate agent, and (for me), that was minor. The in-house mortgage advisor (Frances) was brilliant. She seemed to know her job extremely well, and there was never any fuss.
My biggest grouch is the solicitors recommended to me by William H Brown, were a bit bad. They never returned calls, they didnt really explain too much for me. I was fortunate as I have solicitors in the family, but If I didn't have that, I would have been a lot more nervous about progressing than I was.
To summarise, Jake was a fantastic estate agent who I felt really cared for me and did everything he could for me. However, some communication fell at some points with call backs. Frances was a brilliant mortgage advisor, no issues there. However, take their recommendation for the solicitors with a pinch of salt.

If you are USAF and either PCSing or moving while in country, take my advice, don't give these people your business.
My wife and I are moving out of our home and I called to set up a viewing on a property they have listed. Keep in mind that while shopping around for a home to rent this is something we all do. I was asked what property I was interested in, I told them, and then I was asked if I would be putting a down payment on the property the day of the viewing. I told them that we were still shopping around, but as we already lived in the same neighborhood, this was a house we considered a safe bet if we couldn't find anything in the next week and a half or so. This is where it gets interesting. They told me they didn't want to waste their time showing me the home. I was shocked. I have contacted half a dozen other agencies in order to view properties and have never once had someone act so rude. "Pippa" and her manager treated me like I was a waste of their time. Even saying they were the market leaders because they didn't waste their time with people like me. Well they certainly aren't the market leaders when you look at their reviews. The arrogance was absurd. My next call today will be to the AFRC to let them know to tell incoming airmen to avoid this place.
These people are not worthy of our business. If you are moving in country avoid these people.

What makes a bad and unreliable Letting Agent? Probably someone who had an easily rental opportunity land in their lap and still managed to mess it up at every opportunity... I give you Megan Morley.
We have a rental income of £1260, and we found the most perfect house within this amount, we took the property before we’d viewed it, because we were very confident it was what we wanted, and when we got around to viewing it, it was exactly what we expected, we were thrilled! However, apparently sheer Megan wanted to place a bad smell on this Let by initially asking us for documentation she didn’t need, which wasn’t only confirmed she didn’t need it by the internet, the referencing company, and a different branch, but she insisted without it we wouldn’t be moving in... After digging out heels in, we decided to give her the documentation, simply because we didn’t want anything to hold the property up. But what did hold the property up? It failing the US Airforce inspection FOUR times. You’d think an Agent who had worked for William h Brown for four years would have slightly more insight into what to tell the Landlord for this not to happen again and again and actually again - but evidently not. Or maybe, she’d have the knowledge or common sense to check the property herself before an inspection as not to waste her time, our time, the Landlords time, and Base housings time - But no, she managed to get to an un-modest four fails!
Lastly, and maybe the best part of all, we were due to move into the property on Saturday 10th of March, but failing an Inspection because Megan failed to inform the Landlord he couldn’t fill three cupboards with his own belongings and still try to let a house out. We couldn’t move in! At this point we completely broke! What were we supposed to do? We’d given notice on our current property, and we were beginning to worry about being made homeless. But on Monday 12th of March Megan informed us we could finally move in, as the inspection had passed! The down side? We both work full time, how are we supposed to move house, when we have no van booked anymore and no time off work? We both agreed to take unplanned leave and we set the date for Friday 16th of March! We were finally getting to move in! But what happens on Monday? Four days before we’re supposed to be moving... Megan emails us after informing the 16th was fine with all parties involved that SHES GIVEN THE HOUSE TO SOMEONE ELSE.
So now, we’re out of pocket on renting a man with a van for the original move in date, we’re out of pocket on furniture being delivered and paying a charge, and we’re out of pocket on having our current property professionally cleaned for the next tenants.
Well done Megan, you’re the reason Letting Agents get a horrible name, you’re terrible at your job, you’ve been horribly fake from day one, and we’ll be posting this review everywhere we can until our money is returned to us.

Fantastic experience throughout, the staff were extremely helpful whilst selling my home, and also helped me find my new home for the future.
Jake who I spent a lot of time with during the process was brilliant, constantly keeping me updated and in the loop on how viewings went, and the Mortgage advisor made things 10x easier for me and my wife.
Would 100% recommend and will definitely be using again.

I was told several times I would get a phone call but never did, had to chase them up. I was told I would be informed about the properties I was intetested in when they became available, however this never happened. Traditional estate agents cannot afford to be complacent, it won't be long before online companies take over, good customer service should be your priority right now.
