Kane in particular, has been amazing. I've come dangerously close to being that annoying person who asks too many questions, but Kane has dealt with every single one promptly and efficiently. With my mother unexpectedly going into a care home, at her request, I contacted Willam H Brown to sell her bungalow as she had bought it from them over 30yrs ago!! The whole sale was done long distance, as I don't live locally, and I cannot fault the service and advice that I received from the team, especially Jade, who went above and beyond, and regularly kept me up to date with everything that was happening. We went through the process of buying our first house and had absolutely no clue where to start. Jade was assigned to us and was amazing! She was incredibly patient, kind, welcoming, and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble which was super helpful when we had so many questions.
We also used Reece Maddison for our mortgage advise. Reece was amazing. Reece made us feel very at ease and relaxed even when talking about such mind bogling things such as finance. Reece would always answer our emails or phone calls promptly. As this was our first time buying we were new to everything and the whole process, Reece talked us through everything, made sure everything was affordable for us and was always on the look out for the best deal for us. We really couldn't have done this without him!

(????Five star given so people can read this but the rating is one star)...Found the staff to be un-ethical, incompetent and down right untruthful. Viewed a property late Friday May 7th evening at 5.30 pm and offered the full asking price at the viewing it was being advertised for.. confirmed at that time by Archie was 85,000( not in excess) .. I was told they would put this to the vendor and get back to me. I was also informed there was further viewings on the Friday on Saturday 8th May for the property so clearly alot of interest.. Saturday 8th May morning at 9am I had a call from the agent saying they would get back to me on Monday...I then looked at Right Move and was surprised to find the property was up for sale by an extra £10,000.!!!!! ????????I phoned the agent back at 9.10am who claimed they didn't notice this but then confirmed it was the case... So.. The other viewers booked in on the saturday would have attended the viewing, not been informed of the increase either so more dissapointment and unprofessionalism... I didn't even receive an apology.. Even though I had driven there, attended the viewing and the agent knowing the price had increased but didn't say. . I reluctantly offered another £5000 as me and my wife both liked the property but this was turned down after the weekend. It is currently still for sale as of May 20th , (two wks later)... so not only me dissapointed but all those other buyers who viewed on the Saturday also, nevermind those that had already viewed it on the Friday prior too us.. I know the market is in over drive at the moment but no excuse for agents to act in this under hand and unprofessional manner. All those people including myself should have been informed immediately by phone from the branch that the price had been increased by the vendor before it was advertised on their website. Absolutely disgraceful that I had too phone them.. too question it after viewing the property and offering the full asking price in good faith ... And.. They didn't know!!! The price had increased!!!!! If they had advertised it 'offers in access of' I would have had no issue as I would of known I would be entering into a potential bidding war. No phonecall either or response from Duncan the branch manager or even the area manager.. I notice they are happy too respond too postive feedback on their reviews but no reply too negative feedback. Customer service is their industry... they have too excel in it not treat customers like this.. I am considering reporting too NAEA.. . Looking forward to the market calming down then perhaps estate agents would be more respectful too buyers. I will not be recommending, neither will some of my landlord relatives and friends with large property portfolios and I will be actively sharing my unethical and uprofessional experience.

Delt with Emma, had to keep chasing her and calling her. The whole process was extremely unprofessional. Will not be using these services again. In the end I went else where, as it felt like we were doing her job for her.
I felt that we were targeted because of the colour of my husbands skin, a few of our friends tried to also apply for a house with her and she also didn’t get back to them and was rude. However, when we sent our white friend in to apply the circumstances were different.

We never went into the William H Brown offices until our purchase was complete. The process was done by phone and email over a distance of 200 miles. Contact was primarily through Julie who kept us informed of progress on a regular basis and helped to keep stress levels to a minimum. In theory it should have been a fairly straightforward chain but when time is short and distances large the smallest hiccup can easily become exaggerated but Julie maintained a calming and professional manner throughout the transaction. We were very happy with the service provided and recommend William H Brown to anyone requiring an Estate Agent.

I used to work with this company a few years ago and they had great reviews so thought why not go with them for my own mortgage.
I live in South Wales, so pretty far from the office to say the least! - So all of my mortgage appointments were over the telephone with the Mortgage Advisor MARY JORDAN-FEARNS. For anyone who has read the reviews below and is skeptical about using this office or the WHB brand then PLEASE DON'T BE PUT OFF!!! Mary was efficient, kind, helpful, professional and with our busy schedules (remember we had to do everything by phone!!) she never failed to fit us in and ensure she was giving the best service. Within 2 weeks we had our MIP, our property SSTC and our Solicitors doing all the work. I was a FTB as well so was stunned at how quickly she managed to get everything completed. If you need a MA, then ask for Mary! We signed up with her for life and could not be happier!

I don't know why I'm even wasting my time on this review, except I'm so disgusted with the service I can't let it go unregistered in some way. I've given one star as I can't find how to leave none.
We made an offer of virtually the full asking price on a property within hours if it going on the market. The offer was accepted by the vendor who offered to remove it from the market immediately. Great you would think but 2 days later William H Brown told us THEY were giving us '2 weeks grace' to sell our property or THEY would withdrawn our offer and put the property back on the market. Please note when we spoke to the vendor he had no knowledge of this. In actual fact we sold our own property the next day. During the whole procedure we were told on numerous occasions we would be called back.....the phone calls never came. On the odd occasion when we managed to speak to anyone we were told to contact the vendor ourselves at it would be quicker and simpler for everyone. This should have been a very straight forward transaction but WHB made it a most frustrating situation.
On the day of completion everything was done by 11am. Amazing you may think. We had a 2 hour journey to North Walsham to collect the keys but we were still waiting to hear anything from them when we arrived at the office. When we introduced ourselves we were told 'Oh yeah, just about to ring you to say it's all yours'. The staff there on that day had not met us before, we'd only been in the office once before. The keys were handed over without any form of ID from us although we had photo ID with us, and not so much as a congratulations, thank you or enjoy your new home.
The For Sale board was left here for almost 3 weeks. I eventually phoned to ask if they were going to collect it to should I dispose of it myself and was told to leave it on view and someone would pick it up sometime. It disappeared a few days later....I assume 'someone' picked it up.
All in all we could not be more disappointed with the service. My advice would be to anyone buying or selling to avoid like the plague....unless.....the rumours we have heard are true and there is a new team.
Oh the positive side, we were buyers not vendors so at least didn't have a bill for several thousand pounds to pay and we love our new home and will hopefully not be needing the services of WHB ever again.

Admittedly I was sceptical about signing with this office after reading some of the reviews. But after much deliberation and thought I decided to sell my house with William H Brown - North Walsham, and I don’t regret a single thing. Very very poor service, lied from day one, promised the earth delivered nothing, start by having open house, that took 3 months, took 2wks from signing contract to putting it on market, then within one week wanted to drop price, all there sellers would visit prior to marketing so they would knew about the property,still waiting for that one.had to show buyers round myself, i instructed W H brown to withdraw my house from the market, beginning of June, they still showing it mid July, won't touch them again, I'm hoping they send me a satisfaction questionnaire.

Disgraceful Company - They are liars. They arranged an appointment on behalf of my Landlord for a valuation of the property for insurance purposes only. When the day of the appointment came, Estate Agent turned up with a family to view the property. When asked, they informed me that my landlord wishes to sell. I contacted my Landlord afterwards and he confirmed that the house is not on the market at all and will not be for the foreseeable future. He only asked for a valuation. So ended up showing complete strangers around my home which was upsetting and stressful.

Unbelievably poor service. Consistently fail to call me back regards properties that I've requested information on. No response to emails via Rightmove. On 3 occasions recently I have had viewings by appointment where on arrival the property could not infact be viewed.Yesterday I went to an open house viewing where basic information regards the property were not available. Having bought and sold a number of properties through this agent in the past I dispair now when I see their name involved. I have been in contact with a number of local agencies recently and indeed just sold my house via one and the difference in service level has been positively different with out exception.
