On the sales team, Richard has been my go to during the sale. Always pleasant to talk on the phone with, any concerns or questions I have are not a problem for him, he is always there to answer my queries and to advise me on what’s the next best step. I found the perfect rental through William H Brown Ware, and everyone I spoke to at the branch was friendly and helpful. Everything happened quickly and super efficiently: from arranging the viewing to being accepted and signing the contract took less than 48 hours. Once my application was accepted, Ann Scott did a brilliant job of arranging all the paperwork quickly, while responding immediately to my many telephone and email questions with patience and good humour. This is why you should avoid corporate agents like this.......unprofessional, useless advice (had to go to court to sort out Their mess) Ann (the lettings manager is out of her depth and flustering at every situation doesn't provide confidence at all)
Had a sales team asking if they can value the house (although they were here last week for a valuation)
Sales department don't speak to the letting dept so tells you the office is clueless.
I WISH THERE WAS A ZERO OPTION AS THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE A ONE STAR RATING

We came for a viewing at the correct address at the agreed time but no one was there. Called the office twice and only after half an hour got a call back from the agent (James) who was supposed to be there. Apparently he waited for us at n. 126 or smth instead of n.96. And he left. Without calling us (apparently he is not allowed to call from his personal phone, how come agent can't call a client?? ) or trying to double check where we agreed to meet. Just left and all he could say on the phone is "apologies". Their office is 7min away from this apartment and he didn't even try to arrange for someone to come back . We wasted half a day getting here and driving now back home.

I thought Matthew Ginn’s approach to showing me a home which needed a lot of work done incredibly impressive. He helped me to visualise potential and knew the history of the property so was able to answer questions confidently. He also showed me round which seems to be rare these days from estate agents who just tell you to look round yourself. We have been luckily short term tenants inbetween purchasing homes.
First of all, we are a family of 5 with 3 young girls.
Moved in to a property in Ware and had a couple of things wrong with the house. We have reported it and it was sorted , however the management company just entered our property without notification 2 times in 8 months. We were left confused and basically having a constant feeling of being vulnerable to people walking in unannounced. With kids secondary school age it is a very worrying feeling.
Also we have lived without a shower working for 3 months. We kept chasing but it only got fixed when new tenants needed to move in.
Last and not least. Deposit was not returned to us (although the property was left without letting agents or lenders mentioning any deductions).
Agent and the management company were absolutely useless, acted like it's not their concern. We had to go through the TDS. Still waiting on over 2k. I'm guessing they would act quickly if the moneys were owed to them.
Overall we are lucky to have rented 1 time only in our lives and never again. As this experience alone is just poor example of how an agency can look only at 1 side of a tenancy agreement.
Clearly not looking after tenants, not caring about their concerns, their feedback, their privacy in our case.
I would say, if you're renting, planning on renting, avoid at all costs.

I rented a Property from them. On the day i collected the keys the property was not cleaned, food left in kitchen cupboard and windows dusty. I gave them a week to sort it although my tenancy has started it was still not done. And up doing it myself. When I was living I made sure I cleaned the property so that my deposit will be given but they have refused saying it has not been professionally cleaned. That is wrong and cruel when the property was in a state they wont rent themself. After 3 months my deposit is still not been given

Well where do I start from the day Mahe the manger came to my house I knew me and my family were in safe hands. they was never a problem with anything ,you know when you have the right agents selling your House.
I new everyone in the office at the ware Brarch were very helpful
every time I called it was not a problem it was stress Free all the way. The hole team should be pleased with the way they come across to my wife and I

Wow what can I say! In 10 years of renting from private landlords and estate agents, my experience with William H Brown was great, and I actually felt as if the unreasonably fees involved in using an agent, were at least justified by all the team at Ware William H Brow.
Jack my agent, showed me suitable properties in budget that met my criteria. He had all the answers to my million questions! and if he didn't he'd get back to me that day. The whole team Ann and Grace were just as helpful, allowing access to the property at short notice to measure up and show it off. When I moved in and reported a minor problem I had several calls confirming things had been picked up and were being dealt with. In all the areas I dealt with William H Brown I've felt that they have been honest, helpful and friendly ...There a good bunch and I'll definatley be recommending them to others.
I've used another agency previously and i can say that the customer service from William H Brown Ware was by far better. I would have given 5 stars, however the fees involved for my (questionable) inventory was way over priced for what I had experienced.!
But generally very happy with my experience and my new home.

Top of the class experience with William H Brown in Ware. It is a first time for us to rent and find a place for us, we found some places in Ware luckily our lovely agent Grace has offered us more of what we've been looking for. She have assessed our needs and what exactly we want in a property, especially for me where I commute to work everyday. From Day 1 Grace has been very helpful and kind to us, answering our calls and questions mostly making our experience goes smoothly as possible. We never thought it is going to be so easy as long as we have passed all of the requirements needed. Barely a month we moved in to our lovely flat and settling ourselves in the lovely town of Ware. Thank you very much Grace, you are truly a star. William H Brown is truly a recommendable house agent for future tenants and homeowners in the UK, we will definitely recommend it.

Ann Scott and all the lettings team over the last 7 years have been simply wonderful.
There have been times due to unfortunate personal circumstances whereby I have had serious problems and the office with the back up from Sequence at head office have always gone the 'Extra Mile' to aleviate any anxiety or worry.
I can honestly say that if I had to choose an agent for me to correspond and deal with then William H Brown would be my management agent of choice.
Understanding,transparency,helpfulness and professionalism at all times with nothing being too much trouble so I thank Ann and all her team and a special mention to Sheyanne at head office....brilliant ????x????

Mahe Georgio and her team in Ware are really professional and they were always on hand to assist in our queries, they kept us informed with any updates and requirements during our purchase, making this experience as stress free as possible.

Unfortunate I cannot give 0 stars. If you are looking to rent a property I would recommend you stay clear from this estate agents. From start to finish they have been no help at all. They did an inspection on the property and then lied and wanted me to do their job for them on more than one occasion (take photos, measurements etc.) when landlord allowed his workmen to let themselves into property while I was out I called to make a complaint and was told they were at lunch and would call back but surprise they never did. Was asked to leave property 3 months early again no help I had to chase numerous times on advice about the process and how to retrieve my deposit. Then when the landlord wanted to keep my full deposit it was like bye bye from estate agents and I never heard from them again, while they helped the landlord write up his case against me. Maybe I was just unlucky but I would never use them again and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone else.

Would have given more stars if I could, finally got to the stage of exchange it was a bit of a nightmare getting there.
A massive thank you firstly to Mahe who was incredible and so lovely who calmed me down and reassured me on quite a few occasions, in fact I spoke to Mahe so many times it seems strange not talking to her now, also Emma who was also wonderful and who I originally saw made me feel I had made the right decision to choose William H Brown.
Everyone made me feel that I was important and not just another client definitely worth the fee.
Thank you all so much, I would 100% recommend William H Brown.

Absolutely shocking service. Just got off the phone to William H Brown. I was looking to view a house and cannot make the open day due to work commitments. We were told unfortunately we can't see it at all. Cannot get over this. And I'm not surprised by their low rating on here. Shocked! Will be avoiding at all costs. Manager couldn't even speak to me to clear up what unusual thing that had been said. Shame as was calling to put a property on with them too... but never got that far. Thankfully!

Fantastic team! Bought a house with them a couple of years ago. Emma and Phil were so helpful, professional and nice. I was a first time buyer and was a bit stressed but they made my experience such a good one. So good that when I decided to sell again my property 2 years later due to a break up, I got straight back in touch with them. They handled that so brilliantly. Helping me through the process of selling and keeping me updated at every step. I highly recommend this agency and think that Emma, Phil and their lovely team are absolutely fantastic! I have to mention also Ricky from William H Brown in Hertford who helped us with our mortgage. He was brilliant. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and always there to answer possible questions! Would definitely buy another house with them! Thank you guys!
