Things started off well enough with Ryan showing us a property and being perfectly professional and polite. However as soon as our offer got accepted he essentially became a completely different person. He would send aggressive chasers and even called me out of the blue speaking to me in an incredibly rude and threatening tone. The searches process was rather slow so Ryan tried to convince me to drop my lawyers and hire new ones with complete disregard for the fact that it would have implied an additional cost for us with no actual benefit to the transaction. He even called my lawyers and asked what I had paid them as he was trying to prove the point that I had been 'cheap'.
While the process was actually moving at a normal pace, Ryan was perhaps just extra keen to get his fee ahead of the end of the fiscal year? Frankly it was impossible for me to come up with any reasonable explanation for this behaviour.
The last agent I will consider when next selling a flat.

I live overseas and my flat was undergoing renovation when I left the UK in Aug 2022. By the time it was ready to be rented out in Feb 2023, it was already very stressful coordinating the whole process from overseas. Luckily, a neighbour who had known and worked with Josh and Federico for a very long time highly recommended them to me.
Federico/Winkworth Kensington was the only estate agent I had contacted only because I was that impressed by the recommendation from my neighbour. Before the flat was rented out, Federico was extremely responsive and flexible. This was much appreciated especially given the time-zone differences. Federico and I were on several calls/messages via Whatsapp/emails all the time to discuss every detail prior to pictures being taken and the flat being advertised. There were still some snaggings from the renovation, and Federico gave excellent suggestions and great advice in terms of what and how to fix them up etc. and he sent me pictures and videos to facilitate my discussions with/instructions to my builders from overseas, which was extremely helpful since it was more difficult to arrange and sort things out from overseas.
Throughout the advertising period, Federico was extremely professional and had very high standards of me as a landlord and any prospective tenants, yet was easy-going and very personable. He is very efficient and has great commercial sense and works to a very high standard. There were a few small unforeseen complications which came up, but Federico navigated through these issues with such a high degree of professionalism and patience. He was away on holiday before my tenant had moved in, but he made sure to check in on my paperwork and ensured everything was in order so that my tenant could have a smooth move-in.
Federico made the rental process for me easy and seamless. I can't thank him and the Winkworth team enough. I highly recommend their services to any landlord or tenant!

I cannot recommend Freddie and his team at Winkworth Kensington highly enough. I was looking for a flat in the middle of the rental crisis and was having no luck on my own, or with other agencies. Most agencies stopped helping me in my search the second I mentioned the word ‘student’ and I was being constantly outbid on properties by other tenants… Extremely stressful! Freddie and his team came to the rescue and found my flatmate and I a wonderful flat - even better than what we had been looking for - and at rocket speed. They provided a highly efficient and personal service - often working late at night to secure us our flat. To them, nothing was a problem! They seemed, first and foremost, to just really care about helping us and finding us a flat. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, or to recommend them to others. Thank you!!!

I would highly recommend Federico Young and his fellow lettings team at the Kensington Church Street (W8) branch of Winkworths. I was recommended this agency by a neighbour who had used Winkworths in the past and was glad to have put my trust in this positive review. I found Freddie and Winkworths to be professional, competitively priced, knowledgable about the market, and responsive. I've recently had some contact with Federico Young whilst looking for a house to rent in Kensington. I have to say Freddie is one of the best estate agents I have come in contact with in a very long time. He was genuine, responsive, informative and actually cared about my search and where we ended up. Freddie kept me abreast of what was happening at all times. Although in the end, we weren't able to go ahead with the let however, this has compelled me to use Freddie and his team in the near future for the possible purchase of a property. Federico and his team have proven swift and very helpful on all aspects of my rental process: from the initial description and visit of the property down to very practical help to facilitate the move-in. They are experienced, they know the area well, and they have made themselves available for important questions as well as points of detail and managing the relation with the landlord.

Winkworths have successfully let and managed my 2 bed apartment in London W8 for 14 years. I bought the apartment through them originally. The management of the flat has been excellent over that period. Gas and electric certifications have been carried out, tenant requests dealt with promptly ( but always checking with me first) with good quite reasonably priced contractors;, paying over money on time with clear statements of account, and generally good communication and no.hassle The quality of tenants has always been good, with only one exception, which over 14 years is an enviable record.
Again, recentluy, when my long term tenant left recently due to Brexit, I was concerned that in the Covid environment I would have difficulty finding another tenant. Federico Young, the lettings manager, at Winkworth Old Church St W8 advised on the rent level, and kept adjusting it during the marketing phase because of Civid uncertainties and testing the market,, until after three weeks he secured a young professional couple on a two year lease to move in at Christmas.
What i appreciated was that immediately my old tenant left, Federico visited the apartment, suggested irefreshing the kitchen cupboards and replacing the blind in the second bedroom, but nothing more, then foowed up post building work to check on things before organising the professional clean.
Federico's professionalism and communication with me throughout was faultless. I liked that he called me on the phone to talk things through rather than relying on email, sent photos over whafsapp, got spare keys cut.. He was also responsive out of office hours if I had a question. Federico also had the foresight to take marketing photos with the new kitchen cabinets and bedroom. blind for.use when this tenant leaves, so not a second of void time would be asted next time.aroumd.
Overall I couldn't recommend Federico and Winkworth highly enough. Carl

Had a great experience renting a place for my daughter with Federico Young. He was extremely patient, responsive and transparent in all our dealings and gave honest advice. This was extremely valuable to us as parents living outside of UK wanting to rent a safe, clean and affordable place for our daughter - all during COVID! I have been very happy with Winkworth's Kensington office, who handled the sale of my flat during the Covid pandemic. They have been so professional throughout, seeing the sale through to completion under very difficult circumstances. Caroline and Josh have just sold our Kensington flat. Their service was excellent. They have worked together for years and know the area really well. Their knowledge of the building and history of such things as planning permission around the area, which walls would have been added etc ,has proved very useful to our buyers.They picked out the unique aspects of our flat, employed an excellent photographer and marketed it at the right price.They were friendly and helpful and were prepared to work overtime when it was difficult for potential buyers to visit during office hours. They kept us informed at every step of the way and did not put up with time wasters! Their advice was invaluable.

Winkworth did an outstanding job in letting my property and their assistance was particularly important because I was overseas at the time. We managed to work through time differences by using email, texts and phone, and I had to rely heavily on them to report back to me regularly, cut keys in my absence and cover all aspects of the viewing and letting process while the properties were concurrently being renovated. They were diligent in following up even outside office hours in order to get the property on the market and re-let.

Sabrina at Winkworth went above and beyond to help find a place that would be suitable for all 3 of us. She went out of her way to send a multitude of properties to assess what were definite no's and what were good options. This really helped in not wasting time viewings properties we would automatically say no to.
We initially went in looking for a 3 bedroom property which dropped to a 2. So, we weren't the easiest to cater to!
Even when on leave, she made sure to provide us with contact details of her colleague who seemed well informed about our requirements.
She was very professional and didn't bombard me with calls like other agents. I made a point of asking to be contacted by email due to being so busy at work and she respected this wholly.
Will definitely seek for her help should I need to move again.
