We rented a flat managed between Winkworth Notting Hill and Winkworth North Kensington for 4 years. We had a fantastic experience. Kylie at the Winkworth Notting Hill branch managed the property well and was always very responsive, friendly and helpful. Any snags at the property were quickly addressed. Jason at Winkworth North Kensington was friendly and reasonable each year we needed to renew the lease. The moving in (during covid restrictions) and checking out process also went seamlessly and was well managed. Thank you again to Winkworth for being really good management agents over the past four years and the seamless renting experience.

I could not recommend Winkworth NH highly enough, by far and away the best experience I've ever had as a renter. The property management team (and particularly Kylie Wright) are responsive, efficient, friendly and (rarest of all) empathetic. Have just moved out of a flat managed by them after a 7.5yrs and cannot recall a single instance when the team at Winkworth have been anything other than absolutely outstanding! My only regret is that this review is capped at 5 stars.

Winkworth Notting Hill are an outstanding Agency. They have long serving staff who know the market intimately and are quite simply at the top of their game.
I have had a 20 year relationship with Winkworth:
- First, as a rental tenant where they showed their class by treating us with utmost care and respect.
- Second, as a landlord, where Winkworth handled everything proactively and efficiently. The longest vacancy I had was one week, thanks to the expertise of the Lettings Manager Lucinda Richardson and her team. The Rental Manager, Kylie Wright, was simply amazing over many years. Her and her team handled repairs and improvements on my behalf. Honestly never set a foot wrong and was absolutely reliable. James Paravicini managed accounts efficiently and was always available for queries or extra asks.
- Third, when it came time to sell. Charles Erwin helped me with strategy, flat preparation, introduced an oustanding solicitor - Samantha Blakey of Merali Beedle - and guided me through the whole process. We achieved a strong price in a tough market to someone on Winkworth's books, without having to advertise the property.
I could not recommend this agency strongly enough. Over 20 years I could not fault them.
They have a convenient shop front in the heart of Notting Hill on Westbourne Grove. Do yourself a favour and walk in their to consult with their team about your needs. If only all real estate agencies were as good as Winkworth Notting Hill!

I cannot recommend Winkworth highly enough. We have been letting through them for over 10 years and recently sold though them.
Lucinda Richardson and her team looked after our letting with a professional, efficient and calm approach. When finding new tenants they constantly kept us up to date. Their pricing advice was always good and almost without exception we achieved the rents they suggested.
Very useful advice was also given on making the flat more appealing.
When we decided to sell Charles Erwin and Michael Gunnell were excellent guides and advisors. Our decision to sell was a bit sudden and they responded very rapidly and managed to find many potential buyers with astonishing speed. Once we had an offer they managed the process with reassurance and helpful advice. Like their letting colleagues they kept us up to date at every stage and always had time to take calls from us or answer emails.

I have rented a Notting Hill property managed by WW between2018 and 2020. WW has been extremely professional from the beginning, but it was during the pandemic that they excelled in their support. Me and my girlfriend were forced to self isolate for six months due to medical reason, and during the period we had several small issues in the flat due to the prolonged use of pretty much everything. Lydia and the rest of the WW team was impressively fast and kind and understanding in helping us sorting everything out, maintaining the highest safety and professional standards. I would recommend WW to anyone who wants to rent a property in the area, and I will definitely use them in the future. Good luck to the whole team.

Please stay away from that agency. Our flat was broken into because of their actions, our possessions were stolen and they won't reimburse us.
Winkworth told us not to set the alarm when they knew we were to leave our flat for an extended period of time. After their questionable instruction, they never cared to set it back and our flat was broken into resulting in many of our possessions being stolen. They said it was our fault due to not having contents insurance although it would have been invalid since we were away for so long, a fact which we have repeated but they simply do not care. Stay away.
PS: To answer to your reply below
Please don’t say you’re sorry when we all know you don’t care at all. How you’ve dealt with the whole situation proves it beyond the shadow of a doubt.
You should know that contents insurance becomes invalid if the property is vacant for more than 60 days. Winkworth was well aware of that fact but you simply do not care. Was this taken into consideration in your so-called strict dispute resolution procedure? Of course not.
How can you not be held liable when you were the ones who did not set the alarm is beyond me. Do you think this is fair?

Despite all of the comments here on Sales, Winkworth Notting Hill Lettings does not undertake appropriate due diligence on its landlords and their properties. I am stuck living in a flat in the area, where I can hear the downstairs neighbour snoring at night and every movement and conversation that the upstairs neighbours have during the day and night. In addition, the landlord is extremely unhelpful and unaccommodating, taking 2 months to fix a faulty shower and close to 4 months to replace a broken smoke alarm. Avoid!

My experience with Winkworth has been unlike any other real estate agency experience I have had in London in 8 years. In summary:
- exceptionally good communication
- reasonable and understanding in negotiations
- entrepreneurial and flexible in ensuring a deal is done
- makes sure both the landlord and tenant are satisfied with the contract
- hands on approach even after a contract is agreed
- very helpful, which is important for people like us who work long hours
- In particular, Lucinda and Camilla were magnificent
- overall: a sensible approach that is absent in this sector in London
I would not look beyond them the next time I am in the market for a property.
