I have rented a property through CJ Hole Cheltenham for almost two years, and they have been exceptional.
Originally, we were hoping to find something with cheaper rent, but the location and beauty of the Victorian flat left us smitten. The service CJ Hole has provided us has made me wonder why I even considered turning it down.
I have rented a few times via different companies each time. I have never had a company and landlord be so helpful: From flat problems to a great handyman, to support with neighbours (or random issues inevitably that come up), to regular property checks for everything. They have accommodated every need, an example being replacing the shower head and glass pane so it supported a disability.
With it being a Victorian flat, it of course means it’s colder/not as energy efficient, and ‘noisier’ due to thinner walls/floors/ceilings (I thought it was less noisy than living in a semi), but it is so spacious, stunning, homely, and so much more. Our landlord even carpeted part of the flat to help with noise and warmth - which I have never heard of before and thought was just beyond helpful/brilliant.

James was excellent in arranging a valuation of the house due to other houses being sold in the area.He had already been in touch with others buyers who were keen to live in the street. Once the house was on the market , viewing were arranged and they kept us fully informed of feedback.

As always CJ Hole provided an excellent service selling my home from start to finish, I have previously used the Henleaze office, this time it was the Westbury-on-Trym office, and they have been equally good.

I have just purchased a property and CJ hole Downend were the sellers agent. I am really impressed at how professional they are. The people I had contact with were Lucy and Paige. They answered my queries quickly and efficiently. They were really kind too. I would certainly recommend them to anyone selling a property.

Valued to high at start even though I said to lower from start then after a short while was told should lower, then another agent said lower again not knowing it had been recently. Seemed no one was talking with each other. Felt very unprofessional and I had no confidence.
No one took ownership of sale felt once had house on there books wasn’t interested.
Agents always arrived at the time of viewing and viewers waiting, one was late and I had to talk things through whilst viewer waited outside on drive as agent knew nothing about house asked me questions like would I take an offer, etc.. things he should have known. When I have had a moan about various things the agents have ran down there own agents, very unprofessional I felt I was doing the viewing, after I had been told Ben was doing the viewing a person who I actually trusted and built an understanding sent someone else (who was awful ) as Ben was taking on another property again the feeling that once house was on books didn’t really matte just a numbers game.
Now I have excepted an offer 5-6 weeks ago have received no correspondence what so ever I keep chasing only getting back a few updated emails which I find have the vibe that I’m annoying them. I understand these things can take a while but in 5 weeks at least a contract of sale should be received, last time I sold it with another agent the contract of sale, surveyor etc had been round within 2 weeks I could go on and believe me I’m not normally one to complain but this experience has been quite painful
