I am letting my house through Thomas Merrifield. Their service is excellent. They found good tenants very quickly and handled everything for me, which as a new landlord was very helpful. They are also very responsive to communication and any questions I have. I would recommend them.

I recently had a house buying experience that didn't end as planned but at every stage, Clint and Lisa were so helpful. Their communication and friendly professional manor was very welcomed, they were clear and fast with all replies and responses when needed. It was a shame my buying experience didn't continue with them but I still couldn't recommend them more

We just sold our house through Thomas Merrifields and we were very impressed by the pro-active way that Lisa and the team made sure that the process ran smoothly, chasing both sides solicitors and making sure that any potential logjams were avoided, a very positive experience compared to some others. As executor, I recetly had the task of selling my deceased mother-in-law's property. It was in a pretty poor condition and really needed a fair bit of expenditure to make it properly habitable once again. Thomas Merrifield had been recommended to me, so after an initial meeting when I was impressed by Mr Graeme Pierce's overall approach, I gave them the go ahead. It was a difficult sale for them due partly to the current economic situation, but also to the state of the house. However visits were arranged and Thomas Merrifield kept me informed with the feedback from prospective purchasers. Eventually they found purchasers who made a reasonable offer that I was pleased to accept. Due to no fault of Thomas Merrifield the sale took a considerable time to be completed. Graeme was excellent throughout keeping me informed as to progress of searches etc. He also kindly kept me informed of progress by the purchasers' solicitors. I am pleased to say that the sale has now been fully completed. My extreme thanks go out to Graeme (and the rest of the staff at the Kidlington branch) for all their efforts throughout the lengthy process. Ten out of ten for service, I will always be very pleased to recommend. Thank you, Adrian E Wood

Used another estate agents in Bicester before using Thomas Merrifield but did'nt feel that they were doing much for us. Changed to Thomas Merrifield and the difference was amazing. John and Sharon who we dealt with the most were great, really knowledgable of the area, the valuation of the house and advising us all the way through the process. Nothing was too much trouble, communication was excellent. Overall, very pleased.

Having just sold our property through Thomas Merrifield’s Didcot branch, I think a five-star review is thoroughly deserved.<br><br>Ours was a less-than-straightforward transaction and took rather a long time to complete, through absolutely no fault of Thomas Merrifield. Throughout the process, we spoke with various members of the team, all of whom were understanding, helpful and willing to pick things up when needed, particularly during periods of holiday and leave.<br><br>I must specifically thank Jamie and Nick for all their hard work throughout. Without their persistence and involvement, I genuinely think the transaction may not have happened at all.<br><br>Jamie in particular was exceptionally hardworking and simply would not let a sub-standard conveyancer get away with poor work (nothing to do with Thomas Merrifield or ourselves, I should add!). He chased tenaciously, kept the pressure on and did everything he could to keep things moving.<br><br>A huge thank you to Jamie, Nick and the wider Didcot team (Jenny, James to name a few!) for getting what was at times a very frustrating transaction over the line. Very much appreciated and highly recommended.

Mixed bag service.<br>We mainly dealt with Damien, which overall was a positive experience, very professional. However our process went on for just under a year, which takes it's toll on everyone in it.<br><br>However reason for the 2 star reduction is for the handling of a situation on moving day by other staff. It was extremely poor and added additional stress to everyone involved.
