Absolute best decision I have ever made was to move out of the property I rented from whitegates Huddersfield, my only regret is that I stayed as long as I did. Tiles falling off the wall, black mould, cracks in the frame of the front door, just a few of the issues that were reported multiple times in the 6 and a half years I rented from them and yet they still try and take a cleaning fee from my deposit despite us leaving it cleaner than it was when we moved in and the multitude of repairs we done despite them predating my tenancy. They appear helpful when you are starting a tenancy with them but you can forget all that once you've signed the first agreement. And when they don't get contractors out in a timely manner? Well thats the contractors fault that they couldn't get someone else to do a quote when they didn't hear back. My toilet wouldn't flush for 2 weeks and I am 100% certain it would have still been broken when I moved out if I didn't go to the office in person and demand answers

I have always found the team at Whitegates Sefton friendly and supportive whenever I needed them. I feel truly fortunate to have come across James, who guided me through a very difficult time in my life.
As someone who always reads reviews and is usually very sceptical of companies, I can honestly say that they were there for me when I needed support the most and made what could have been a very stressful experience feel far less overwhelming.

The employee calls you as if the world is going to end. without patience. phone calls are not always clear, a little patience in trying to understand and solve the problem, or at least give the attention that the customer needs.

This was a challenging sale, in unprecedented times. When the sale appeared threatened by stalling solicitors Whitegates got ‘on the case’ and we sold the property, well done!!
