16th Nov 2018 (5 years ago)lier staff in maintenance team , they never fixed thing shower heating not working since a week keep on telling someone come around nothing happen , give a smelling carpert promise to be clean once moved ask to clean it they say we organized someone to come and clean nothing done basically lier staff be carefull when taking any property for rent form this agent . as something goes wrong they not gona fixed it.

10th Feb 2024 (13 weeks ago)Unfortunately Shortland Horne had my property on their books for 19 weeks and only managed to secure 2 viewings in that time frame One of those viewings was a buyer that could only offer £30k below the asking price due to mortgage restrictions I was advised to reduce the price by £10k but this still didn't yeld viewings or offers despite the property being completely renovated with no chain I was impressed with the pitch when choosing an estate agent and chose Shortland Horne over others but the reality of the selling process has not met expectations

Fair price (probably smallest on the market), communicatios ok and managed to secure few offers in 3-4 weeks, last one being the final and accepted it. I got slightly more than I would have priced the market but less than the agent marketed it at. It is a bonus as it works out towards more deposit to new house. There were a few things that I would have wanted such as more marketing on more platforms etc however that’s just a small remark. As mentioned very good price and overall quite good company to sell your house with.
