Searching for a new home is even more stressful…<br><br>Last year, while searching for a new home in the Cotswolds, we had the good fortune to meet Tanya Hall from Carter Jonas Oxford. As well as having an incredible ability to showcase special properties, she is a master in the art of matchmaking tenants to landlords. She innately understands that for certain properties it is all about the relationship rather than simply getting a “deal” done.<br><br>Tanya was remarkably thoughtful and adept at helping us get to know our landlord and her team during the vetting phase. She was clear, transparent and always available to guide us through the process. At every point of the negotiation we felt heard and understood by Tanya.<br><br>Now almost a year into our tenancy, we could not be happier with our decision and as a distinct bonus, our landlords have become dear friends.<br><br>We could not be more thrilled with Tanya’s level of service. We would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a new dream home in the Cotswolds.

Many thanks to Michelle who helped get the sale sorted through to completion. Again kept me well up to date, professional and helpful. We sold both our properties with him and he was friendly and progressional from the off, throughout both sales he really went the extra mile, always only a message away, would chase various solicitors when asked and progress always seemed to be made when Alex chased. 27th Oct 2026 (6 days ago)I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this estate agency.<br><br>Firstly, the lady who was supposed to show us the property arrived 20 minutes late, which was completely unprofessional and showed a lack of respect for our time.<br><br>To make matters worse, there was no lighting in the property, meaning we could barely see anything during the viewing. We were expected to look around the house using a phone flashlight, which is absolutely ridiculous! How can anyone properly view a property or make an informed decision about buying a house when they cannot even see it?<br><br>This is something the agency should have checked and sorted out before arranging viewings. It is their responsibility to ensure that potential buyers can actually see the property they are being shown.<br><br>On top of that, when we asked the agent basic questions about the property, she couldn’t answer them and appeared to know very little about the house she was showing us.<br><br>Overall, the entire experience was a complete waste of our time and very disappointing. I would expect much better standards from a professional estate agency.
