6th Apr 2024 (16 weeks ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things

14th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

7th Jun 2023 (1 year ago)Amazing service from Warners - all staff were attentive and supportive from the beginning. Even with a sale fall through and having to go back on the market, they helped ease the upset of what was a really upsetting time, found me a new buyer and completed 6 weeks later. Cannot fault their service, Caitlin Meaney was my negotiator and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble and gave fantastic advice / came across very knowledgeable on the market for the area and time I was selling. Would 100% recommend Warners, and have already done so to a few also looking to sell. I met with around 4 estate agencies total and Warners were the clear choice from the start. Thanks so much for all your help! We now have sold our flat and purchased our forever family home and couldn’t have done it without your help.

8th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)I can only speak of my experience with Slater Hogg as a buyer. When I was looking for my first property back in early 2022, I saw one sold buy them and asked for a copy of the home report. I got phoned by some pushy woman who gave me an interrogation - I must've ended up stuck with her on the phone for about 20mins. I remember distinctly as I was on the way back from the doctors and was worried about how long I was going to be AWOL from work for. I was forced to make an appointment before getting the home report. Eventually, I got the home report and decided I didn't want to view the property in the end. I could not get hold of them at all to cancel - no reply via email or phone. Fast forward to me now looking to move again in 2024 and it seems it's the same old tactics. I saw a property I liked and then saw who it was sold by and groaned. I tried twice to fill out my details on their website and didn't get any response until 3 days later. I got a phone call from a guy who told me to phone back and ask for himself. But he didn't provide any name. I wasn't feeling well and my throat was agony, so I didn't fancy having to speak to someone and going through a similar interrogation to last time. I tried emailing their office and explained the situation, but was ignored there too. So, I've given up with them and will be avoiding properties sold by them in future. I dread to imagine what dealing with their solicitors would be like during a sale given the impression so far. TLDR; buyers beware as trying to get info or a home report out of them is like pulling teeth and expect an interrogation if you do manage to speak to someone. Sellers beware as this company are extremely off-putting to potential buyers and could limit the viewers and potentially the offers you will receive on your property.

23rd Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)The team at the Falkirk branch were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Caitlin McFarlane who made our experience enjoyable and the whole process easy. They were genuinely happy for us when we got the house; a great team and would definitely recommend them!

22nd Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)I was introduced to McDougall McQueen through Sylvia from 'Selling with Sylvia' who dealt with the initial sale. Sylvia dealt with the process from the start through to sale when it was passed on to McDougall McQueen to deal with the legal side. Sylvia was excellent, explained the process, answered all my questions really quickly and was always available. The legal side of the sale was dealt with Susan Oates from McDougal McQueen. Susan was very efficient, answered all my questions quickly, was very approachable and got things done. I have no hesitation in recommending Sylvia and McDougall McQueen.
16th Sep 2023 (10 mo. ago)I recently put my property up for sale with Drummond Miller. The “selling” part of this service was poor. It appeared as if the leading agent, Robert, didn’t care in the slightest, as emphasised by the very nonchalant responses to my queries throughout. My ad was also full of errors (including my address) and when pointed out I was assured this would be changed, which it wasn’t, prior to going live. Once sold I can’t fault the service in terms of the sale and legal work. Pam was professional, helpful and reassuring throughout the remainder of the process. I have mixed feelings towards Drummond Miller LLP now but due to the poor initial service I wouldn’t recommend.
11th Mar 2021 (3 years ago)Not great - would not use again. Did nothing to find interested parties in first few weeks until I had to call a senior team member to complain... Not ideal - feel like they had too much work to handle mine at the time. Would have fathered they had just said they were too busy than wait too I was stressed and lost out on buyers.

Communication throughout the process was excellent and once we accepted the offer on our house the legal team at Thorntons were equally exceptional. Our solicitor was always on hand to answer our questions and provide us with best advice. Thank you for taking the stress out of selling a house!

From start to finish, they kept me updated, and informed me of what I needed to do at every stage. I liked the fact that I did not need to spend a thing until the whole transaction had been completed. I would use Neilsons again and recommend them to everyone who is selling or buying a house.

2nd Mar 2024 (21 weeks ago)I recently sold my flat with Mark and his team. From start to finish the service I received was excellent. Mark gave me a fair assessment of the property and market. The brochure they produced was fantastic and the whole process was managed for us, which took all the stress of selling away. Greig was great at keeping us up to date with viewings and overall we had a great experience. I would recommend and will be using again in the future. Thankyou
