They did an incredible job overall, getting the outcome we needed (confirmation to the estate) with great empathy and communication throughout.<br>Edward invested a lot of time with us even prior to us commencing the engagement, providing us with practical and solution-focussed advice. We were grateful for his candid advice.<br>Lindsay was extremely responsive throughout the process, and indeed for several additional/related queries after the formal engagement was concluded. We truly appreciate how helpful and prompt, (and patient!) Lindsay has been with us.

5th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I have no hesitation in recommending McDougall McQueen if you are looking to sell your home.<br><br>My initial contact was with Sylvia at McDougall McQueen who managed the all the processes involved in marketing, viewings and finding the right buyer.<br><br>Conveyancing was handled by Bobby Fife with my sale completed within 7 weeks!<br><br>I have been very impressed by their knowledge and professionalism, and really appreciated their advice and efficiency.<br><br>Communication was fantastic throughout. A speedy response to any queries I had, and frequent updates to what was going on.<br><br>Would absolutely look to Sylvia and McDougall McQueen if I was looking to buy or sell in the future.
3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

Having been so impressed with the sale of my first property, I had no hesitation in asking them to handle the sale of a second—and they certainly didn't disappoint.<br><br>Their friendly, personal approach and excellent local knowledge made the whole process straightforward from start to finish. Communication was always prompt and clear, and I always felt they had my best interests at heart. Most impressively, they found a buyer for my second property within just two weeks of it going on the market.<br><br>It's refreshing to deal with an independent estate agent that genuinely cares about its clients and provides such a high level of service. They were always at the end of the phone and they continuously kept my partner and I in the loop, providing the necessary advice as required. The human interaction was very much appreciated in this digital age. It has been truly refreshing to deal with true professionals who provide the service promised. During the offer stage the person who was handling our case was quite slow in responding, requests had to be chased up a lot, and left me out of emails (and only addressed them to my male partner) which was quite annoying, but once Caron took over it was really great, excellent and quick communication. Five stars for Caron.

Stephen provided such an excellent personal service - right from the initial marketing to completion of the sale. He kept me informed throughout and provided very helpful advice. It felt very different from dealing with a large corporate agency as I’ve done in the past and I would not hesitate to recommend Cullerton’s.
