16th May 2025 (4 weeks ago)This is my second review for Millerson in Launceston. The first review was glowing, but this new review can only be better. Millerson sold me the house I'm posting about, and that was excellent service. To go full circle I've just used Millerson to sell that same property. First viewing and the sale happened in seven weeks. Could not have gone better. I'm absolutely delighted I chose Millerson over their competitors in the local area. Everyone in the office are so helpful and friendly. You really feel welcome and looked after. Hannah was my main contact and she's been fabulous, but all the staff at Millerson Launceston deserve credit for such an impressive service that I know I would not have received elsewhere.

15th May 2025 (5 weeks ago)Well what can we say, an amazing team lead by Toby. We were impressed from the start with their professionalism, detailed knowledge of the local market, support and helpful advice. They guided us through preparing our house for sale, used an excellent photographer and were so supportive all the way through. This friendly team were always at the end of the phone, proactive and highly efficient, chasing problems and keeping us well informed. We felt comfortable in trusting them completely. Any problems were discussed and dealt with. We always felt better after a chat with Toby. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Toby, Mica and Todd for a great job.

1st Mar 2022 (3 years ago)From start to completion, our house sale was handled with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. The team at Stags impressed us with the effective way they handled the sale, their friendly attitude and excellent local knowledge were key, and we can honestly say that we have never sold a property so quickly, easily or with minimal stress. Thanks again to all at Staggs in the Launceston office - we would most definitely recommend them to anyone selling their property and we would happily use them again.

6th Mar 2025 (15 weeks ago)Mansbridge Balment Okehampton Estate Agents I would be profoundly disappointed if I had entrusted this estate agent with the responsibility of marketing my property. I have personally reached out to them on two separate occasions to express my interest in properties they are actively marketing, both through Rightmove and directly through their own website, providing all the requested information. Regrettably, I have consistently been ignored. No one from the office has contacted me to follow up or schedule a viewing. It is imperative for property vendors to be aware that Mansbridge Balment does not prioritise their best interests. I strongly recommend that they consider hiring another agent who will provide the necessary support and attention. This conduct is highly unprofessional and disrespectful to their clients and potential purchasers.

Wainwrights were great and when we found our perfect property they helped everything run so smoothly. A big thank you for all their advice and assistance. Lovely people.
9th Aug 2024 (10 mo. ago)I hate writing awful reviews but sometimes it’s a must. Me and my boyfriend were on the search for a new property. We were so excited to view a property in Chagford. All was smooth sailing, we moved in mega quick and we were so happy. 3 months in my boyfriend reads me an email tonight to say after the 6 months we won’t be extending your tenancy. We are both are shock, people have been so quick to moan and complain about us but never hear our side. I’ve reported so many problems about our house and it doesn’t even get the slightest attention to fix the problems and we are worried we are going to be penalised for something’s that aren’t our fault. Ive been here so many times after hearing this is a long term let, 6 months goes by and you got to move on, we are good decent, hard working young couple who is just trying to find our way and we are being kicked out for made up reasons our neighbours have lied about. We don’t deserve this. You just cannot win in this world!

12th Apr 2025 (9 weeks ago)We have just purchased a property through Scott Parry Associates & can highly recommend them. We had previously viewed several places with Megan, Jemima or Polly, who were patient, helpful and very pleasant to deal with. They kept us informed of anything potentially suitable in the area, until we found the home we liked. During the buying period (4 months), all staff were quick to respond to any questions by email or phone. They liaised well between us, the seller & both sets of solicitors to keep the process going forward. Although a small firm, they are professional, efficient and hardworking. Their friendliness and personal attention made the whole process much less stressful... so thanks for your help, Scott and the team.

I feel sorry for the property owners who are selling through them. I will not be buying through them that's for sure. Stay away property sellers.

4th Jun 2025 (12 days ago)I am absolutely disgusted with Bettermove!! They offered to buy my house for a fixed price, having deducted 20%! Which is what I told them I wanted a 'quick' sale. They offered of 2 options. Or, they said they could market it for a month AND actually LIED and stated they HAD investors INTERESTED in MY property!! Within a week I realised they had NO investors!! So, when the 'month' was up I asked if they would buy the house for the price they had stated instead. They said they would take a FURTHER 20% off AGAIN!!! Had they told me this would happen in the first place I would've just sold it to them!!! AND, in the process, they have DEVALUED the market value of my house!!! I think its absolutely disgusting that they seem to act without any conscience. They lie and are not up front with what the options really are. They have set my house selling back by possibly years now!! If there were an Ombundsman or official way to report them I would do so!
