Everyone I dealt with in the office was fantastic - efficient, professional, helpful - but Geoff in particular was an absolute star. Usually my experiences with estate agents are tolerable at best, but D. R. Kivell was a pleasure to work with, even when it got a bit rough at the end. I can't speak for the seller they represented, but certainly when dealing with us as buyers it was clear that they were looking out for her interests too, and they were extremely fair and up front throughout the process. If I ever sell the beautiful house they sold to me, they would be my first choice of agent. I can't recommend them highly enough.

24th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)Regrettably, I’m giving Stratton Creber a poor review following a disappointing experience selling our property through their Looe branch.<br><br>Having bought and sold several properties over the years, I appreciate the importance of good communication and proactive management. Unfortunately, both were lacking throughout our relationship with Karl, the branch manager.<br><br>Updates often consisted of screenshots showing Rightmove activity rather than meaningful feedback on the marketing strategy or potential buyers. We also raised concerns about the photography, which was initially too dark and subsequently overexposed. More disappointing was the lack of direct communication. Following a second viewing from interested buyers, I emailed Karl requesting an update. He never responded, and the feedback eventually came from another member of the office.<br><br>Ultimately, these issues led us to withdraw the property and appoint a different agent when we return to the market next spring. Before leaving, I sent Karl a detailed, constructive email explaining our concerns, making clear that I stood by every point and was happy to discuss them personally. His response simply confirmed that no further viewings would be arranged and wished us well. There was no acknowledgement of the specific concerns or attempt to address them.<br><br>Unfortunately, that final exchange rather summed up our experience. We weren’t expecting a guaranteed sale, but we did expect professional communication, accountability and a more proactive approach from the branch manager.

The post offer team kept all parties well informed and helped smooth the process. They understood the local market and what was likely to be coming on and when. Would use to sell

During what turned out to be a tricky, drawn out sale Dean was constantly in touch, keeping us up to date and being very supportive. His advice was always helpful, although never forced on us, and this resulted eventually in a successful sale.<br>We don't intend moving again but, if we change our minds, we'll definitely go to back to Stags.

Charley, in particular, is a fantastic agent and she really puts her all into helping with coordination of sales and viewings. I would recommend this team in a heartbeat if you’re looking to list your house.

11th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)Had a holiday booked for 7 months , to be advised the owner was having renovation works and cancelled our holiday. We got offered a later date but due to the school holidays it wasnt possible.If we wanted to have another property it was at our costs no gesture of good will nothing. We have been customers of John Bray for over 25 years. When we have issued a letter of complaint they again havent had the decency to acknowledge. I/we will certainly never book again with this company. A real shame but clearly they dont have any loyalty for valued customers.

A professional and good looking set of photos and video online, a friendly and helpful team and good communications were all hallmarks. The property sold within a week - so they definitely did something right!

9th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Although Savills were the sellers' agents, I found that they made quite a difficult process much easier for me, the buyer. Will was exceptional in the way he kept me constantly informed of what was going on between agents and solicitors. I felt I could contact him for updates all the way though. A very friendly, caring and capable young man . I would thoroughly recommend Savills, Truro if you are thinking of selling and want excellent service. Thank you Will .

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

Great in the beginning when we were paying our rent on time. but then when we moved the pettiness of the final inspection of the property was Absolutely ridiculous, down to cobwebs in the garage, light bulbs not working, left a coat hangers in a cupboard, left a glass in the kitchen cupboard, I believe they Are trying to keep our deposit. I would not recommend them to anyone.
