9th Nov 2024 (14 weeks ago)From them telling us we would sell within weeks took a year communication was bad always said will ring you but never did you had to phone them then to be speaking on the phone and they hadn't put phone down to be talking about you not professional at all sold in the end but wouldn't use again

15th Oct 2024 (17 weeks ago)I recently rented and sold a flat with bridgfords Washington and unfortunately I’ve been left very disappointed with the service provided. Bridgfords were noticeably more expensive than competitors (I.e. 40% premium on other estate agents) and the service provided when selling the flat was poor overall. When I’d call their offices I would either not be able to get through or would be promised a callback which wouldn’t materialise which was very frustrating. The sale of my flat took 10 months with no chain and it realistically shouldn’t have taken anywhere near this long. A lot of the delays were caused by unresponsiveness either by bridgfords or by their recommended solicitors (which were also unresponsive and expensive compared to competitors). This poor service was disappointing and could have largely been avoided. Without emails/calls chasing there were weeks which would pass when nothing progressed. I was advised by bridgfords to end tenancy (2 months notice) as I was under the impression that completion was imminent, after tenants moved out the flat was empty for nearly 2 months which increased unnecessary costs of owning the vacant flat. Unfortunately at this stage I wouldn’t recommend using bridgfords.
12th Oct 2024 (18 weeks ago)They don’t do repairs on houses took 3 months last year to repair a hole in the roof and now they are avoiding more repairs damp in the house and they do nothing!

All of the viewing have been done, the offers collated and we have received email and telephone communication throughout the process. We are pleased we chose Reeds Rains, Durham.
17th Oct 2024 (17 weeks ago)Awful experience with this company. Had a viewing of a house, member of staff was late. i was not shown round at all, felt rushed and very rude uninterested staff member. Mad an offer and still have had no reply, had to chase myself twice and told numerous times they would get back to me and still nothing. Would not recommend this estate agent. Couldn't imagine how unprofessional it would be once an offer was accepted.

Always kept us up to date with the various stages of the sale and had regular contact with their team. Always on hand for advice and support. A great team and excellent value for money. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again in the future.
19th Nov 2024 (12 weeks ago)In my honest and truthful opinion, I had a negative experience with Bedebrooke - without naming names. I found there to be an undercurrent of rudeness within their communications, and if someone asked me if I would personally recommend them, I'd decline to do so.

26th May 2024 (8 mo. ago)Despite the property being very unique the valuation was based on as much well researched information as they could manage. Marketing was done well with excellent photos and a photographic 3d walk around. They also managed to arrange marketing in the local paper. Helped negotiate a good selling price higher than the asking price. Property has been sold within 5 weeks of marketing. Friendly and informative staff. Despite speaking to different staff the computer notes were well done meaning we were always well informed. I’d recommend this company.

Every time we manage to speak to someone on the phone, we’re promised a call back that never happens. No one responds via email, and the whole process has been painfully slow from start to finish.
