Amy Meldrum-Beechey kept us fully informed about potential properties, some of which we viewed. Whilst on this occasion we selected a property being marketed by a different agent, we experienced the same quality of service from Savills as a prospective purchaser that we did as a vendor.

2nd Sep 2024 (9 days ago)Where do I start from the very beginning of starting the house sale Steve came round to value my property he was very informative, thorough and spent time going through everything and explaining the next steps. Sam, Rebekah and Debbie were very quick contacting me of house viewings and getting them booked in and in a timely manner and then updating me with the feedback from when they had been showed around by Charlie. Once the offer was accepted Sam did a wonderful job in keeping me updated from solicitors and the buyers of the property. He made a stressfull time alot easier and gave me the reassurance that everything was in hand when it wasn't easy at times. Overall I would highly recommend your move and the team thankyou very much Charlotte

I was never made to feel pressured and I appreciated this during a very stressful time. Would not hesitate to use their services again.

It all went through within a couple of months and would probably not have happened without the skills of Annabel Fearnall and her colleagues at Barbers Rural. We made enquiries from several agencies including well-known nationally-recognised firms, but Barbers Rural was by far the best with their intimate knowledge of the locality. There was really no contest and the result of the sale is testimony to that. Also, theirs was by far the most reasonable cost. We have nothing but praise for and thanks to the firm for their professional standards and for the manner in which they prepared our house for the potential limited number of purchasers. We were always confident that Annabel was on top of the situation and was working in our best interests. We can thoroughly recommend Barbers Rural - we couldn't have done better.

22nd Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)Only communicated with us twice in 16 weeks, once for the only viewing. Seemed to drop us immediately when we told them we were looking at another estate agent.
24th Aug 2022 (2 years ago)Found them to be extremely arrogant, who complains about a purchasers solicitor being on holiday in the middle of the school holidays. Obviously never sold a property in the summer before. Then expects the purchaser to let the vendor to be able to enter the property after contracts and payment have been made. Typical expectation of estate agents, middle men who do nothing and treat purchasers like dirt. Can't wait for the housing market to stop and the boot is on the other foot, and estate agents have to earn a living.

They certainly earned their fee - there was a lot of interest so they had to organise several long days of successive viewings. They handled the process very well, keeping us informed promptly of prospective buyers' interest and offers, and gave us good advice on which offers to accept. And they pointed us towards an excellent local solicitor - all in all we were extremely glad we chose them
