8th Jun 2026 (12 days ago)Great place if you want to sell your equipment or machinery, there's an accoutrement of telehandlers there to help with the unloading process. Staff are very friendly to deal with and if your buying it is literally a big boy's toys r us. Highly recommend either process with H J Pugh & Co.

He showed an interest as I showed him around and had some very helpful advice for me. They keep you well up to date and it is never too much trouble for them if you call. They are an impressive team.

From the very beginning they demonstrated professionalism and a genuine commitment to ensuring the entire process ran smoothly. Nick was always available to answer questions, address concerns promptly, and provide clear guidance whenever needed. I would confidently recommend this company to anyone.

Olivia has been absolutely brilliant on keeping us updated on everything and ensuring a smooth home buying process - which has been so reassuring due to us being first time buyers. Olivia is a real asset to Nock Deighton!
12th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.

11th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We recently exchange contracts on a property. Gary was brilliant from start to finish. Great communication from negotiating and updates throughout the process. Alan who showed us round on a few occasions was also brilliant. Knowledgeable about the properties and very personable! I would recommend the agent for selling and buying very professional. I'm also a mortgage broker so communicate with a lot of estate agents and I found them so easy to deal with!

24th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)I will never prepare this agency because we booked one house last minute they said the landlord was accepted your approach when I was phone them they not give the answer and cut my phone they very rude with me. Poor service- 27th Aug 2025 (9 mo. ago)No sale. Changed agent. Only two viewings. Contact only made by me. Disappointing but I understand market slow but contact and professional advice may have been beneficial.

They maintain communication throughout a lengthy process, repeatedly checking the sale progress with both the buyer and seller. They respond rapidly and positively to all requests. They are professional while being friendly. I strongly recommend them.

As proof I had two copies of 1 item, one valued at halls one valued by another firm. The halls valuation was less than 100 pounds. Yet the other was valued and sold for 800 pounds. Both items where I. Identical condition. I would not trust this company again. I should point out both items where sold in the Shrewsbury area. So the difference cannot be put down to regional differences. Be very wary if planning to or currently using this firm.

The office team provided us with regular updates, prompt support and advice. It was a fairly drawn-out process as the chain was long and complicated but it all completed successfully on the appointed day. Mark and his team provided a most helpful personal service and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
