The Woman we dealt with who we believe is possibly a partner repeatedly didn’t find answers to our questions, it seemed as if it were a constant battle throughout, she also came across false and over the top. As far as the owner of the company goes one meeting was enough for us. Occasionally we spoke with other employees who were always friendly and efficient, shame the same can’t be said for management.

Kevin and his team were faultless and the level of communication through every step of what I thought would have been a very stressful process was above and beyond. I would highly recommend Harbor to anyone that is thinking about selling their house. The way that the marketing was done stood out over other properties for sale also. Kevin’s knowledge and reassurance throughout the process , including putting us in touch with solicitors and offering a mortgage broker( although we had our own) It really is a one stop shop for selling your home with every need that possibly could be met , exceeding all our expectations. Kevin made us feel so at ease from the first time we met him and kept his word throughout. If I could give him 10 ?? rating I would!!!!!!

26th Jan 2026 (5 weeks ago)Excellent service from start to finish. Good advice re asking price to set, honest appraisal of prospective buyers. Lots of support during the preparation for marketing, leveraging their trade contacts to get things done quickly. Clear advice of options during the price and subsequent negotiations. Staff always friendly, very prompt responses to queries, good handover between staff so that people always knew what they were talking about. A really great experience.
11th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)I used Bannerman Burke Properties LTD in late 2025, The property went live on all the online platforms on a Wednesday, They arranged 5 viewings on the Thursday and Friday - and i received two really good offers the following Monday. The online portal is up-to-date and kept me informed of the progress from start to finish. Lisa and Tony are a great team, and would recommend them to everyone.
22nd Jan 2026 (6 weeks ago)Didn't feel the advert was informative of selling points. Seems very generic amd nothing personal. Also photos did not do property justice. But in a small area he knows what he doing and yes I would recommend him as he just seemed like a friend.
27th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)Our overall experience was totally unsatisfactory. We never received a single enquiry, phone call or any other contact of any kind. We therefore instructed Taits to take our house of the market as we were totally disalusioned with the entire situation, especially as our offer for the house we fancied was accepted on condition that we recieved offers for ours. We have therefore advised Taits of our dissatisfaction and we have now decided to stay put. As they say in live, you live and learn. ??????

23rd Sep 2025 (23 weeks ago)If you’re looking for an estate agent that is proactive and communicates well, I would strongly recommend avoiding Edwin Thompson Galashiels. I sold a commercial property through them, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve had with an agent. From the very beginning, communication was poor, and it never improved throughout the process. I later discovered that the buyer’s experience was just as frustrating as mine, which speaks volumes about how this office is run. Unfortunately, the company’s reputation is being badly let down by an agent on their team.

18th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)If you would like your property grossly under valued with a poor sale's team. Or even a valuation that isn't worth the paper it's written on. I highly recommend using DM hall. Disastrous experience in both selling and valuing 2 seperate property's.
