25th Oct 2024 (7 mo. ago)Absolutely fantastic agency! Lisa's brilliant if there's a problem I ring her and it's sorted within a couple of hours. Very friendly serviced and feel valued as a tenant. Highly recommend to anyone, especially to someone like me that's having their first place everything was so easy and friendly!!!!!!

18th Nov 2024 (6 mo. ago)No viewings, then called by another agent to say they are closing. Few days later, had a letter from the other agent confirming it! Called WH, who confirmed it! Shouldn’t clients be informed first? Was putting sale on hold anyway until after Christmas as the market is flat. Another agent has had no sales since May!
29th Jan 2022 (3 years ago)I met Adam Cliff at the property for the viewing with my father in law. He answered all the questions I had about the property, and gave us as much time as we needed to look around to look around. Had all the paperwork email over to make an offer on the property within and hour of viewing as he promised. So grateful for all his help !

22nd May 2025 (21 days ago)We haven’t sold yet but you can’t go wrong with Woods Homes, especially as they have Julie Copsey (Sales Manager) on their Team. We sold via Julie 20 years ago, she always goes above and beyond in everything she does. The Team at Woods are super friendly and remain focused at all times to get the properties sold, without being pushy. The market has been slow but not their response in getting our property to market. From the point of enquiry, they were swift with valuation, taking photos, a video, details of contract, updates and added information to help buyers, such as, Gas safety certificates, Fensa certificates for windows and all of the other items that can cause a delay while in process of a confirmed sale. Our property was listed in super speed time and courtesy calls are given. We negotiated a short time for the contract but are happy to stay with Woods, despite having letters through the post and even hand delivered by so called local estate agents, who in my opinion are not local at all. MANY different estate agents are trying to poach clients, this is actually off putting when you have such trust in the agent you know has your best interest at heart. THANK YOU so far to the Team in the Kingsteignton office, we know we will have a sold price soon and look forward to the next part of the sales process = the paperwork ????
26th May 2022 (3 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.
28th Feb 2025 (15 weeks ago)We have completed our sale of Stover Lodge Guest House today and we absolutely 100% recommend the team at Charles Darrow in Newton Abbot. Both James Sanders and Lyn Milligan have made a potentially stressful transaction hassle free. Initially James was very realistic when we asked him for a valuation of our business and we were happy to let him guide us. We were delighted when we received an offer very close to asking price within a couple of weeks and just five months later we are ready to take on a new project. Of course there were a few bumps in the road but questions and queries were dealt with quickly and we have been able to complete within a timeframe that everyone was happy with. Thank you so very much and we wish you all the very best for the future.

23rd Jan 2022 (3 years ago)Angela was very relaxed through the entire letting process in a refreshing down to earth manner on a unit I rented. Deposit returned in full and on time with no drama. If all agents were like her it would make life much less stressful. 100% recommended.

Thankfully, I wasn't in a rush or desperate unlike most people unfortunately are. Assured I would be called back/contacted, which had been to no avail. Wouldn't approach them again, if god forbid, I did find myself in a desperate situation.
4th Jun 2025 (8 days ago)I am absolutely disgusted with Bettermove!! They offered to buy my house for a fixed price, having deducted 20%! Which is what I told them I wanted a 'quick' sale. They offered of 2 options. Or, they said they could market it for a month AND actually LIED and stated they HAD investors INTERESTED in MY property!! Within a week I realised they had NO investors!! So, when the 'month' was up I asked if they would buy the house for the price they had stated instead. They said they would take a FURTHER 20% off AGAIN!!! Had they told me this would happen in the first place I would've just sold it to them!!! AND, in the process, they have DEVALUED the market value of my house!!! I think its absolutely disgusting that they seem to act without any conscience. They lie and are not up front with what the options really are. They have set my house selling back by possibly years now!! If there were an Ombundsman or official way to report them I would do so!

Completely put me off viewing any properties with them.
27th May 2025 (16 days ago)Started the process of selling my house after speaking to Adam. He was very understanding and guided me the whole way, until it was handed over to their sales team who kept me updated on any progress made. Good communication feom everyone I spoke to.
4th May 2025 (6 weeks ago)House went on the market on the Wednesday and sold for asking price on the Saturday.
