31st May 2025 (12 days ago)Buying and selling can be stressful and we had our fair share of bad luck but James L, Kitty and team were proactive, supportive, helpful, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The stress load was lightened by these guys and each challenge overcome. We were so happy with them we recommended them to our friend who was not disappointed either. Both of us getting a good price for our properties. We actually changed agent's mid-process to Hunters and don't regret it. Not only because we sold with Hunters for 16% more... .thanks again guys! When we move again we're coming back!

16th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)This is not the first time we have used Blenkin&co. We encountered them when buying a house a few years ago and were impressed at their fairness in handling the buyer/seller balance. Hence tje decision to use them when selling. This last transaction fell at a difficult time and had some complications but they showed patience, persistence, courtesy and even humour. In brief, we trust them.
23rd Nov 2024 (6 mo. ago)Verity Frearson are the largest estate agent in Harrogate, and in my opinion are handling too many properties simultaneously. As a result they aren't able to give each property the desired attention and exposure. They are also so busy they are very rarely available to take your call and often don't get back to you.
4th Feb 2025 (18 weeks ago)We would highly recommend Stephensons, they made the whole process of my house sale so easy, they are so friendly and helpful and happy to answer any questions you have. We want to thank Sue & Nathan for all there hard work. Would definitely use them again in the future

24th Mar 2025 (11 weeks ago)Living in a rented Property 'managed' by linley and Simpson. We have found ourselves without a working boiler for over a week, NO hot water, nothing. Also a leak under the kitchen floor, which is flooding the place. Our landlord has phoned, we phoned, I had the phone put down on me. Result NOTHING. !!.

Alex accommodated two viewings in a single day, allowing ample time for private discussions without any pressure. He was instrumental in gathering detailed lease information and demonstrated comprehensive knowledge about the property. We highly recommend Carter Jonas for their reliable and knowledgeable service; their team is well-informed and proactive in obtaining any additional information when needed.- 24th Jan 2023 (2 years ago)Feels like giving them 1 star is too much! Shambolic from beginning to end. Firstly they agreed a sale to someone who had no proof of funds and was actually a deal sourcer (someone who makes money off of selling the property to an investor without the estate agents knowing, basically trying to sell it for a fee) Then we had a sale agreed but found property was unmortgageable which obviously wasn't their fault, however due to this we made a counter offer which took 3 weeks for them to reply, also not their fault you would think. However we found that they were holding our offer off as long as possible making stories up so they could try and find a better offer and they then proceeded to put it back on the market. All we would have needed was the truth. Then a couple of weeks later (last Friday) they told us they now was happy to accept our offer, so we immediately got our broker and spent yet more money in fees to get the purchase, only for them to tell us this morning (Tuesday) that they had accepted another offer and the property was no longer on the market. We are property investors, and have purchased many properties but never ever have we come across a company that's so amateur and due to their incompetence and lying it has cost us thousands of pounds. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
7th Mar 2025 (14 weeks ago)After moving to Canada we left the sale of our property in the safe hands of Andrew and without a doubt the right choice As it was a listed building it was never going to be a normal sales process but Andrew was 100% on the case and got us there in the end. Communication, feedback, advise and professionalism were second to none and I couldn’t recommend Andrew highly enough to do him justice

4th Jun 2025 (8 days ago)I am absolutely disgusted with Bettermove!! They offered to buy my house for a fixed price, having deducted 20%! Which is what I told them I wanted a 'quick' sale. They offered of 2 options. Or, they said they could market it for a month AND actually LIED and stated they HAD investors INTERESTED in MY property!! Within a week I realised they had NO investors!! So, when the 'month' was up I asked if they would buy the house for the price they had stated instead. They said they would take a FURTHER 20% off AGAIN!!! Had they told me this would happen in the first place I would've just sold it to them!!! AND, in the process, they have DEVALUED the market value of my house!!! I think its absolutely disgusting that they seem to act without any conscience. They lie and are not up front with what the options really are. They have set my house selling back by possibly years now!! If there were an Ombundsman or official way to report them I would do so!

He has the patience of a saint as I'm sure I was the worse customer he has ever had. He helped and gave practical advised throughout as I had no idea what to do when buying a house and we were in a very difficult chain.I really don't know how I would have got on without him.

Joanna has been so incredibly helpful, supportive and professional throughout the process. I am extremely impressed with the service, in a world where so many companies really fall short in this area, Jorys estates are one of the few who go the extra mile and will do anything to help their customers. They’ve made the whole experience so much more enjoyable and easy. I’d highly recommend working with them!
