17th Dec 2025 (10 mo. ago)Excellent communication , good advice. Abigail was very professional and knowledgeable. Constantly kept me updated on activity . Chasing my solicitor and also buyers solicitor too . Great communication. Highly recommended.
25th May 2023 (3 years ago)Arrogance at the highest level! Was informed 24 hrs prior that my valuation had to be moved as a staff meeting was more important. Already booked the day off so fuming at the complete dis regard of this outfit. Completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant in my opinion!!!! Lesson learned!!!
3rd Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Nothing but praise for the professional way in which all matters have been handled - highly recommended
4th Dec 2020 (5 years ago)Deborah and Georgina add the personal touch, they own the business, so are directly involved in its success. Available 7 days a week, they go the extra mile to always be there for potential buyers.

Dacre, Son & Hartley - Knaresborough
The Manor House 97 High Street, Knaresborough, HG5 0HL(2 reviews)
11th Jan 2025 (1 year ago)Enjoyed dealing with Nick and the ladies in the office. Always informative and helpful. They do know the local market really well. Will always use. Sold with Dacres previously.
13th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)Miranda had more viewing, then all the other four estate agents. Put together. Everything she said, she did. She was all talk. I would recommend, her to anyone, selling a house. She gets 10 out 10 from us.
9th Nov 2023 (2 years ago)more interested in closing the deal than in finding the best possible outcome for us
18th Feb 2021 (5 years ago)I asked Banks Long to act in the sale of a commercial property south of Lincoln and they achieved a fantastic result in excess of initial expectations delivering an excellent service throughout on a sale that had a few complications. I was kept informed at all times and although the sale took longer than anticipated this was not due to their efforts. Very pleased with what has been achieved and it is hoped the sale will help the buyers business grow. First class service from start to finish.- 22nd May 2026 (23 weeks ago)Katie was the main person we’ve been dealing with and she’s been amazing throughout. On the ball, attention to detail, great with my buyer and great with me. Got a result quickly in a currently challenging market. Highly recommended.
26th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)I have dealt with many estate agents over the last 55 years and Andrew Hill is by far the most professional, knowledgable and friendly. I highly recommend his team!
2nd Dec 2025 (10 mo. ago)Awful service. Had to take several attempts to get photographs right and then proceeded to gossip to our neighbours about our personal moving plans. Very unprofessional and a serious breach of client confidentiality. Avoid unless you want your personal plans revealing to your entire local area.- 21st Sep 2025 (1 year ago)Good communications
2nd Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Savills came recommended and I’d recommend them.
9th May 2026 (25 weeks ago)Speedy turnaround from photo to advertisement
2nd Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)excellent service, highly recommend
21st Sep 2023 (3 years ago)Excellent service from the whole team Would definitely use them again
4th Jun 2026 (22 weeks ago)I was very impressed with the whole service from the initial consultation right through to the support provided by the after-sales team. From the very beginning, everyone took the time to explain the process clearly, answer any questions I had, and make me feel completely at ease. The entire team was highly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, yet always approachable and genuinely friendly. Selling a home can often be a stressful experience, but they made the whole process smooth and straightforward. Communication was excellent throughout, and I always felt well informed and supported at every stage. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and their commitment to providing outstanding customer service really stood out. I am extremely pleased with the experience and would certainly recommend them to anyone considering selling their home. Their combination of professionalism, expertise, and personal service made all the difference, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.
1st Jun 2023 (3 years ago)Scott at North Residential could not have been more proactive, professional and diligent in his approach to selling our house. In comparison to previous agents, his communication and work ethic was off the scale. Can not recommend highly enough.

17th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Polished marketing and a “boutique” label did not translate into the service or value we expected. The photographs and brochure were well presented, but our overall experience was disappointing. We trusted their initial pricing advice. Although the starting price was proposed as a short trial, the substantial reductions that followed and the eventual sale price left us questioning, in hindsight, the realism and quality of that advice. The eventual buyers first viewed through this agency. We ended their instruction without an offer having been secured through them, and another agent subsequently negotiated the sale and handled its progression to completion. Given the high fee, we expected much more from the advice, personal support and service provided. In our view, the fee was disproportionate to their contribution to the completed sale. Based on our experience, we would not recommend them.
