21st Jul 2026 (7 days ago)Very disappointed with Hunters After viewing a rental property and expressing my interest in applying, it took over a week for them to respond to some questions I needed answered before I could complete the application form. During that time, I called three times and left a voicemail each time. I also emailed the agent who showed me around the property, the general Hunters email address, and even contacted them through the Rightmove listing. Despite all of these attempts, my questions were never answered. A week later, I finally received a call informing me that the landlord wanted to continue looking for tenants. When I asked why wouldn't be considered, I was simply told that they were not legally required to give me a reason. To make matters even more confusing, shortly afterwards the agent I had been trying to contact all week finally called me back and asked me to complete an application form. I explained that their colleague had already told me the landlord wanted to continue looking for tenants. I asked for clarification because the information I was being given was contradictory, and I'm still waiting for a response. The lack of communication, contradictory information, and poor customer service throughout the process was extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I won't be using Hunters again to help me find my next rental property.

23rd Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Verity Frearson are the largest estate agent in Harrogate, and in my opinion are handling too many properties simultaneously. As a result they aren't able to give each property the desired attention and exposure. They are also so busy they are very rarely available to take your call and often don't get back to you.

Oliver and the team went the extra mile and even showed me a property on a Sunday as I work full time a weekends just so I didn’t miss out! I spent 5 very happy years in a home in York thanks to Stephensons would recommend them to anyone first time every time ??????

The service then with Ben was outstanding and so we knew who we wanted to go with when we were ready! The team turned things around very quickly to meet our timescales and were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. Emily was our key contact this time and she was proactive, had great communication providing us with daily updates and went the extra mile for us. Thank you team!

18th Jul 2026 (10 days ago)We cannot speak highly enough about Beadnall Copley in Wetherby. After letting our house for 30 months (the rental was expertly managed by Beadnall Copley) we decided to go to market. We knew it might be difficult to sell the now empty property as work needed to be done to sell it, and that we would need extra help and support in arranging this, having moved to the other end of the country. Thanks to Stacey Reynolds and her colleagues at Beadnall Copley in Wetherby the necessary work was undertaken and we have now completed on the sale of the property. The team are easy to contact, communicate well and always on top of issues as and when they arise, and they completely understand the changing property market. They have immense experience paired with local knowledge and could recommend/contact tradespeople for all the required works that we needed to be undertaken; their service is above and beyond what would be expected. They come with solutions not problems and have absolutely got the balance right, between being personable and friendly but also totally professional. We would recommend Beadnall Copley 100% and without any reservation.

Given that we lived away from the property this was very important to us. In summary the service was first class. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to sell a property.

17th Jul 2026 (11 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.

As a firm they don’t simply rely on RightMove, but instead Monroe offer a wealth of potential buyers who they take the time to match with the right property. Communication has been excellent, with good commercial and supportive advice always available. Monroe took time to learn about our house and delivered continuity with both viewings and feedback. Once we had agreed a sale Monroe’s sales progression coordinator ensured that all solicitors in our chain were kept in the loop and that potential delays were unblocked by exceptional communication skills. Having used a number of estate agents over the years we have never had such an excellent service and enjoyable experience as we have with the team at Monroe.
