28th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Both Caron at the office and Charlie (who showed us round the property) have been wonderful in their approach. Highlight all the positives about a property and the area but without being pushy - which has the exact opposite effect with me and makes me resist. Able to answer my queries regarding a leasehold and service charges (unlike another agent in the area who ignored all my e-mails). Exactly what you'd expect but very rarely get - a good estate agency.

26th May 2026 (24 days ago)My main engagement has been with John G and his team from a letting point of view. From my perspective as someone that has worked with the likes of Martin & Co, Purple Bricks and god knows how many other agents that resulted in me working as well directly with the tenants in the end I very much took away the following: 1. Level of professionalism when engaging early days in terms of providing clear feedback i.e. the status of the house, what really needed doing etc. 2. Getting me market value regarding the rent - in previous scenarios (Martin & Co) seemed to be acting on behalf of the tenant as oppose to getting me the best value (despite the fact that they would make more as a result) 3. Reputable organisation that did not steal rent money (again Martin & Co cheated me out of a months rent indicating that the tenants had not paid - upon validation with the tenants (who shared a back statement to prove it). 4. Easy to work with and friendly team 5. Timely in terms of following up on securing rent money and getting this paid Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable agent for buying and / or letting.

2nd Aug 2023 (2 years ago)Lovely landlord. However have spoken and gas engineer out. Keep telling me the same. The unit flicks on for 5 minutes and then off. It never did in my 3 years at this lovely property that I like to call home. Heating and water still crazy. Gutter at front is leaking. Which o can see is causing brick rot. The gutter is leaking that much onto the paving it’s going up the wall. Will be an expensive job for lanlord. From me asking as it bangs on the front windows. No one can sleep if they come over. I personally think who is this company. They won’t fix the gutters after asking for 10 months. Sad thing is. Green mould is growing up front walls. Hence when I leave. After months of asking. Mould on walls behind radiator and also the gutter will still need seeing to. So ashamed have paid so much to keep a lovely house

Their communication was good, and reception answering our questions promptly. We’re really happy with our new home.

20th May 2026 (30 days ago)Very disappointing experience with Maya Properties. The whole setup felt extremely questionable, especially regarding utility bills. Tenants are required to pay energy and water bills through the landlord rather than directly to suppliers, despite the property at OL6 6EF apparently operating on a shared meter system. We were told this would be changed, but nothing has happened. There was also pressure to sign inventory documents before properly viewing the property. When I attempted to take photographs for my own records, Mr. Rabez Mohammed became aggressive, threw my belongings out of the property, pushed me out of the property, and prevented me from documenting the condition of the flat. Even after I had paid deposit and rent in advance they claim because I didn't sign inventory they will not hand in the keys. Flat number 0L6 6EF. I have formally reported the incident to the police following what I experienced during the day I was meant to move in. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid signing with Maya Properties and to proceed with extreme caution.
