26th May 2026 (24 days ago)My main engagement has been with John G and his team from a letting point of view. From my perspective as someone that has worked with the likes of Martin & Co, Purple Bricks and god knows how many other agents that resulted in me working as well directly with the tenants in the end I very much took away the following: 1. Level of professionalism when engaging early days in terms of providing clear feedback i.e. the status of the house, what really needed doing etc. 2. Getting me market value regarding the rent - in previous scenarios (Martin & Co) seemed to be acting on behalf of the tenant as oppose to getting me the best value (despite the fact that they would make more as a result) 3. Reputable organisation that did not steal rent money (again Martin & Co cheated me out of a months rent indicating that the tenants had not paid - upon validation with the tenants (who shared a back statement to prove it). 4. Easy to work with and friendly team 5. Timely in terms of following up on securing rent money and getting this paid Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable agent for buying and / or letting.

6th Jun 2026 (13 days ago)I started off selling my property with Purplebricks and had a terrible experience (the worst customer service I've experienced in my life), I ended up in a position where I had found my dream house and was on the edge of losing it due to the incompetence of Purplebricks. However, Sharon Prestwood and the team at Cousins stepped in and they were fantastic. In less than a week they had my house back on the market and I had 3 solid offers the first day it was on the market. They did absolutely amazing, and I really cannot thank them enough for all their hard work. I couldn't recommend them enough.

8th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)It was a pleasure having Maisie Webb from Cowell Norford be involved in the sale of my property she did her upmost best to help me sell even after the first deal fell through she managed to find a buyer not soon after. I have dealt with other estate agents in the past but the staff at Cowell Norford were by far the best. Communication was always there and updates were giving regularly. ????????????

The entire experience went smoothly and within a week I have received confirmation of the place! I am so greatful. Definitely a good place to start looking for a home. Thank you.

From putting on the market, finding our buyer and updates and communication through out the whole sale was outstanding with added care and compassion as it was my Dad's estate. Being an estate agent ourselves from a different area it was refreshing to come across an outstanding agent and whole team at Royton. 20th May 2026 (30 days ago)Very disappointing experience with Maya Properties. The whole setup felt extremely questionable, especially regarding utility bills. Tenants are required to pay energy and water bills through the landlord rather than directly to suppliers, despite the property at OL6 6EF apparently operating on a shared meter system. We were told this would be changed, but nothing has happened. There was also pressure to sign inventory documents before properly viewing the property. When I attempted to take photographs for my own records, Mr. Rabez Mohammed became aggressive, threw my belongings out of the property, pushed me out of the property, and prevented me from documenting the condition of the flat. Even after I had paid deposit and rent in advance they claim because I didn't sign inventory they will not hand in the keys. Flat number 0L6 6EF. I have formally reported the incident to the police following what I experienced during the day I was meant to move in. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid signing with Maya Properties and to proceed with extreme caution.
