Having dealt with several other estate agents during my search, including one purchase with another agent that progressed quite far before falling through with little support provided from that particular agent, I can honestly say the service at Hunters stood out. Vicky, Marissa and team were consistently friendly, responsive, and proactive throughout the process. They were quick to address any questions or concerns, providing clear updates and helping everything move along smoothly and efficiently. Their support made the stress of house buying feel much more manageable. I would definitely recommend them — thank you again!

They were professional, responsive, genuinely helpful throughout our experience and nothing was too much trouble. They were knowledgeable about the local housing market, thorough in every step, and approachable—always willing to answer questions and explain things clearly. After working with them, we would have no hesitation in using them again, in fact we would not go anywhere else! Ten out of ten.

Branch manager Adam was a pleasure to deal with from the first time we met, through to the completion day and handing the keys over. He was ably supported by his colleague Jodie, who also was very attentive, responsive, and was pivotal in getting what turned out to be a more complex sale over the line. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bridgfords in Ashton Under Lyne for your property transaction, whether buying or selling.

She calmed my thoughts numerous times and was supportive during difficult moments during the process. As first time buyers she really assured us throughout. She was prompt in responding to my emails. Honestly, I felt like she was in my corner there to support me even when reaching out to my solicitor and chasing them up when they were a bit slow in responding. She knew how much the property meant to my family. The customer service was impeccable. Again I highly recommend this agency and definitely Natalie. Also, thank you Georgina Shaw who was the initial contact with the purchase. Thank you so much to Natalie and Cousins Estate Agents. Thank you for making our family dreams come true.

From the initial valuation through to onboarding, the service has been outstanding.<br>From signing the contract, my property was photographed, all the security checks were completed and the brochure was created and ready to go live in less than 48 hours!<br><br>Christian has been incredible; I couldn't have asked for a better initial point of contact - very friendly, willing to help any way he can and super efficient! I'd also like to mention Natalie, who has also been very friendly, proactive and helpful.<br><br>I'm confident this team will sell my house in no time. Highly recommend!

Craig, who valued the property, was professional, efficient, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made the process feel straightforward and reassuring.<br><br>Maisie and Sophie at the branch were both extremely helpful throughout. They kept me informed regularly, answered any questions I had, and explained each stage of the process clearly.<br><br>I’m really pleased with the service I received from the whole team and would definitely recommend Cowell & Norford to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and reliable estate agent.

I liked Marks candid and straightforward approach to putting the house on the market - sale price and negotiation. Also, I went for this family run agent’s, so communication at each stage was more efficient and this proved to be the case with Laura and Joanne once Mark had completed his role in the process.
16th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)Our experience with your company has been extremely disappointing. The behaviour of Jack and Chris was rude, dismissive and demeaning. Their approach made it clear that they had little interest in cooperating with prospective buyers or communicating in a professional and respectful manner.<br><br>In addition, we found that some of your property listings did not accurately reflect the information being presented on the property platforms, creating unnecessary confusion and wasting our time.<br><br>As the agency that describes itself as the “number one estate agent in Manchester”, I would suggest that greater emphasis is placed on customer service and communication. Buyers and sellers alike deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, without passive-aggressive or dismissive interactions. Our experience fell well below the standard we would expect from a professional estate agency.

Thanks for all of your help with my purchase, highly recommended!<br><br>Edit 2026: Sold my property now with A Wilson knowing how good they were to me as a buyer, as a seller they’ve been 10/10. My property was sold (twice!) within 24 hours of going live, amazing photos and just an excellent service overall. Highly recommend A Wilson and the team!

Paul made everything feel straightforward from the very beginning, and his professionalism and communication continued throughout both our sale and purchase.<br>Paul kept us informed every step of the way, always available to answer our questions, and worked hard to keep everything progressing as smoothly as possible.<br>We always felt supported and knew we were in safe hands. Thank you for all of your hard work in helping us move into our new home.
17th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.- 17th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)Geraldine was great.
