6th Jun 2026 (15 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.

Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition. Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.
27th Jan 2026 (7 mo. ago)Following a breavement Rob and his team were fantastic at taking us through the whole process of managing the empty house during the probate process as well as the house clearance and sale. As none of our family live in or near Sheffield his experience and knowledge were invaluable. We also really appreciated the friendly and professional way everything was handled - nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

13th Jun 2026 (14 weeks ago)Lack of communication Weren’t very proactive You get what you pay for- 25th Mar 2026 (25 weeks ago)We experienced ongoing issues with repairs not being addressed (a bathroom light remained broken for several months after a leak). We were also asked to conduct viewings ourselves before moving out, which we did not feel was our responsibility. On moving in, there were also cleanliness issues, including mould in the washing machine drawer and cupboards left full of cleaning products from previous occupancy. We later found these same items referenced when deductions from our deposit were discussed, which was frustrating. Overall, prospective tenants may wish to ensure maintenance expectations and check-in inventories are clearly documented before signing.

4th Nov 2025 (10 mo. ago)Disappointed all round 2 viewings and had to keep asking for feedback. New photos taken as the originals had been filtered but they never added them and the video was on their Facebook page only not Rightmove.

Their attitude with their clients is extremely commendable. This is the second time we have used this agent, and feel they are highly recommendable to anyone who is considering either buying or selling.- 12th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)The ladies at Hunters did everything I could of asked for and more. Always attentive, always informative, treated you as a person and not just another sale to get commission on, listened to what I wanted and did everything in their power to achieve that. Sadly we sold at a difficult time when the market was quite depressed so viewings did not come easily. Hunters were pragmatic about the situation and doubled efforts to get a sale. I cannot thank them enough for their attitude and friendliness.

20th Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)I feel the marketing of my property was very poor. It was placed online and forgot about, no other marketing explored or attempts to get buyers in through the door. The only contact I had from my agent was to push for the price to be lowered. I decided to list with a dual agent and the property was sold in a few weeks.

Just no communications or return calls, messages etc. Imagine if you were a buyer, would your price be communicated to the vendor with such inefficiency?
