6th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)I would rate 2Roost Estate Agents as average overall — you get what you pay for. They initially valued my property around £25,000 higher than what it eventually sold for, which I found disappointing and unrealistic. The staff were friendly throughout the process and the photographs they took of the property were very good. However, I felt the overall service lacked experience and professionalism at times. On one occasion, my front door was left open overnight due to carelessness, which was completely unacceptable. I also felt there was little flexibility with viewings outside of standard hours, as evening appointments after 5pm were not really accommodated or proactively discussed with me. In addition, some of the offers put forward to me felt unrealistic and far below expectations. While the service was not terrible, it was fairly mediocre overall. Looking back, I probably would have chosen a more established estate agent, even if it meant paying slightly higher fees. Ultimately, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys — lesson learned on my part.
16th May 2026 (24 weeks ago)We rented with 1st Fields for almost 8 years and cannot recommend them highly enough. Any issues we had were immediately addressed and communication was always prompt. If you're a clean tenant and punctual with the rent, you'll find no better letting agency. Connor and Holly x

12th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)Choose anyone else.<br><br>We were charmed by the chap who gave to value and photograph our house. But it was all down hill from there. They over valued and under sold our house. They are almost impossible to reach by phone with queries and questions. They seemed to be working for our buyer and not for us.<br>They made over the top requests, including letting our buyer see the house without our stuff before completion.<br>They did nothing to support us when our buyer's electrician unplugged our freezer and we lost all the contents. We ended up paying for our buyer's roof survey and the team did nothing but try to knock us down on price.<br><br>And now the house is sold, and we have paid our fees, they are still emailing trying to get money for our buyer!<br><br>Awful. Just awful. They paid the entire process stressful and traumatic. I ended up having to CC our solicitor into every email just to avoid Reeds Rains screwing us over even more.
22nd Oct 2026 (10 days ago)My initial experience with WHB was not great. My name was used incorrectly on an email and document. I also had a viewing, but no one turned up. I contacted WHB and was told that they did know that the viewing was cancelled, but forget to communicate this to me. My overall experience was ok.

I'm still at the start of my search for a flat, but I think I'll end up getting something from this company... They have a lot on offer...- 26th Oct 2026 (6 days ago)I sold a rental property with Gemma Bellamy's team in Jul 25, with Reeds selected after meeting Victoria, who was pretty much the only useful person I dealt with, but sparingly available.<br><br>Key issues:<br>- Negotiation was shockingly bad. Their approach was the standard "open house - here's your best offer" after 1 day of viewings. Little interest in negotiation/doing further viewings after. A somewhat satisfactory offer was only obtained further down the line when they were pushed into a corner to do this or lose the business.<br>- Poor progression skills. Maisie: amazingly bad at just about anything she touched. Cheryl: excellent at appeasing and then doing nothing of consequence after.<br>- Work is outsourced; this is used as an explanation as to why branch staff are clueless about your case<br>- Expensive for the quality of service. Another rental completed in half the time and at a competitive price by Hunters<br>- There was an entire day when no one was around to pick up the phone due to staff shortages<br>- The ability to successfully navigate curveballs associated with buyers in the area was a key concern discussed pre-selection and confirmed as a skillset. There was no apparent interest in tackling these when they arose.<br><br>In summary, a very substandard team overseen by a very substandard branch manager. I believe any other Hillsborough estate agent would do a better job of selling a house and at a lower cost.<br><br>EDIT: These concerns were raised repeatedly over the phone and e-mail. The fact that Josh is a lettings employee commenting on the performance of a sales team he doesn't belong to is an excellent example of how poor the sales team is at their job. I've attached some screenshots from just the tail end of a 5 month dragged out process seeing as "you have no record of these concerns". Loads more where that came from.<br><br>In further updates this morning, Josh claims that the team is human and has to start somewhere and that they've all magically improved to market leading standard over the last year. So if you'd like to wager the proceeds of your house sale on Josh's charity cases, look no further than Reeds Rains Hillsborough.

14th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)Really pleased with the service I received from Haybrook throughout the sale of my property.<br><br>Emily was fantastic at the beginning of the process, getting everything set up, taking the photos and getting the property listed. She made the whole process of getting started really straightforward.<br><br>Karen was equally brilliant throughout the sale, keeping me updated, answering any questions and helping keep things moving along.<br><br>There were a few challenges along the way, but the team were always friendly, professional and helpful.<br><br>A big thank you to Emily, Karen and the rest of the team for all their help. However, I firmly believe it would have taken a lot longer if Lincoln Ralph had not proactively frequently liaised with all parties involved to push the process on to a satisfactory conclusion. Arabella and Jordan have both been kind, friendly and professional, and have always been quick to solve any problems or answering enquiries. Would definitely use this agencies again!

26th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Shaz was our estate agent for both the purchase of our new house and the sale of our previous house. We cannot recommend him enough. He went above and beyond throughout the whole process. He was incredibly contactable and responded extremely quickly. No question or query was too much for him and he made the whole process as smooth as possible due to his communication. He gave us excellent advice when it came to offer price and also sale price and he helped us negotiate on price when the survey flagged some issues requiring repair. Shaz genuinely cares about both the buyer and vendor in this process, which makes a huge difference compared to other estate agents we have interacted with over the years. If we ever move house again in the future we will be using EweMove again and I will be recommending them and Shaz to anyone else I know planning a move!
13th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)?????<br><br>Where do we even begin!<br><br>My partner and I recently sold our property through Hughes, and what a rollercoaster of a journey it's been! Through absolutely no fault of Hughes, our experience of buying and selling has certainly had its fair share of ups and downs.<br><br>It all started when we found our first potential home, only to have our offer rejected. The same thing happened with the second property, but thankfully, it was third time lucky!<br><br>Throughout this process, Lewis was incredibly patient, supportive and reassuring, always reminding us that the right property would come along for us and our family. And he was right!<br><br>Fast forward to the day before completion, and what should have been an exciting time turned into our worst nightmare when our buyers pulled out. Rachel worked tirelessly to get everything back on track, going above and beyond to help save our move. I genuinely cannot thank her enough for her determination, hard work and support during what was an incredibly stressful time.<br><br>Even on completion day, the challenges weren't quite over! The property we were purchasing hadn't been fully cleared, with numerous belongings still left behind. Danielle stepped in and communicated with our buyers, explaining the situation and why we hadn't been able to completely empty our own property.<br><br>What really stood out to us was that, whenever another problem arose, there was always someone at Hughes willing to help, reassure us and find a solution.<br><br>I'd like to say a massive personal thank you to Lewis, Rachel, Danielle and the entire Hughes team. You've all played a part in helping our family move into what we hope will be our dream home.<br><br>Buying and selling a house can be stressful at the best of times, but having the right people in your corner makes all the difference.<br><br>We genuinely couldn't have done it without you, and we'll always be grateful.<br><br>Thank you all so much! Their help and individual expertise every step of the way was so helpful. Whoever employs these wonderful individuals, you are so very lucky to have such exceptional staff! I’m so glad I went with Blundells. Dan is a bit of genius though, he sold it for me and blew me away during the valuation.<br><br>The price was also reasonable and suited my budget well. Which was also a deciding factor for me as I had quite a few agents come to quote/valuate.<br><br>Thank you guys for getting me through it all (and bearing with my neuroticism lol) and into my dream home.
