After meeting with three agents, De Scottia were the chosen agent for a number of reasons. First being they were not pushing for a hard sale. Secondly, the agent quickly took note of the living situation with my elderly mother and took on board my comments of how fragile she is and to liaise with myself. He was brilliant from the start. Very easy to get hold of, prompt and efficient. He explained everything to us and was more than happy to explain anything we didn't understand without making us feel silly. Our agent was happy to get his hands dirty and move boxes (and a large bed!) to get the photos he needed. When we went on holiday and he needed access he ensured he understood the alarm system and sent me texts whilst away to keep me update and assure me the alarm was put back on. Fantastic service and really pleased we went with them. Our agent gave us honest feedback and we had an offer within 2 weeks. I second everything what's been said about Jo and Hallway! Jo wasn't our agent ( we were buyers ) so we were on the other side of the chain, but from the day she showed us around the house till completion day she's been on fire. Sometimes taking a simple information from solicitors took a life and a half and Jo was chasing each side like mad hatter. Whenever I needed an update or wasn't sure with something she's been on the other side from Monday till Sunday. Very patient with us first time buyers. Explained everything, always with details and even after completion she continuesly been there for us. I was feeling cared for although she wasn't even our agent. I am truly sad it's over and I won't have a laugh with this woman anymore ???? Love her sense of humour!!! Highly recommended... Read more

Trilogy in partnership with Burns & Webber sold me a property off plan in Godalming. They really sold me the dream. The show flat was impeccable and they talked of a really special, high quality build. Fast forward close to 8 months (on a build that I was told was 2-3 months from complete), and after more lies and missed deadlines than I can count, I finally got the keys this week. The flat is basically uninhabitable, the list of incomplete work and snags is extensive and there are genuine health and safety issues too. The finish in general is frankly poor, and not anywhere near the quality that I was promised. I have basically been homeless for the last 2 months because of the missed deadlines, and it looks like that will continue a while longer while I argue with the Developers to try to get the flat close to something that is acceptable. Just avoid Trilogy altogether is my advice. Start to finish, the experience has been dreadful.... Read more
