She handled our onward purchase, but it felt like she was managing the whole chain.<br><br>With a chain above and below us, she was the one who made the difference - professional, pragmatic and proactive. He was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process — competent, responsive, proactive, kind, and professional.<br><br>The sale turned out to be much more complicated than expected, with legal difficulties meaning that the process took over two years to complete. Throughout that entire time, Phil stayed in touch, kept me updated and did everything he could to keep things moving along. Even though I was dealing with everything internationally, his communication was excellent and I always felt that things were being looked after. He made what could have been an extremely stressful experience feel remarkably stress-free. I genuinely don’t know what I would have done without him.<br><br>Phil also went far beyond what I would normally expect from an estate agent. He was incredibly helpful with all sorts of practical things that I would normally have dealt with myself if I had been in London — from replacing batteries in smoke detectors to meeting contractors and helping coordinate things on my behalf.<br><br>He was an absolute delight to deal with: warm, friendly, dependable, and always willing to go the extra mile. 13th Sep 2026 (12 days ago)We booked viewings with Sarah Mills at Hamptons Greenwich: it made a stressful experience feel smooth and easy.<br><br>Sarah showed us multiple properties in both Deptford and Woolwich. She was punctual, sent us reminders and also introduced the area where previously unfamiliar with East London.<br><br>As we made a journey down to London specifically for these viewings having the certainty of confirmed appointments and clear communication lines was excellent.<br><br>I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah and her team to anyone else looking to view and secure property in East London.

20th Sep 2026 (5 days ago)Buying a flat in London is a genuinely intimidating process, especially once you realise you don't have anyone on your side. The seller's agent is doing their job, but their job isn't protecting you — so going in, I expected to be navigating most of it alone.<br><br>That changed the moment I started working with Hannah Le Sueur. From our very first conversation, it was clear she was in my corner. She took real time to understand what I was looking for, and rather than just throwing listings at me, she fine tuned her sense of it with each conversation — narrowing in as we both got a clearer picture of what would actually work for me.<br><br>That process led us to a flat that turned out to be exactly the kind of character and space I didn't know I was looking for. Hannah then helped me negotiate a deal I honestly didn't think was possible, pushing for terms I wouldn't have had the confidence or market knowledge to ask for myself.<br><br>Compared to every other property experience I've had, Hannah Le Sueur made this one feel completely different — supported, informed, and genuinely on my side from start to finish. If you're buying in London and want someone who will actually fight your corner, I can't recommend her highly enough.
3rd Sep 2026 (22 days ago)As a newcomer to the UK it can be overwhelming on how to purchase a home when the process is so different from what I am used to. Luckily it felt like we found a good agent to help us along the way; Florence from Chestertons.<br><br>While it is an odd process to deal with a sell side agent directly, I never felt there was any conflict of interest - she was fair and straightforward. Florence was also available to field questions I had thru the process which eased our anxieties.<br><br>I maintain that the whole process here is strange and I would suggest to folks that you should really agonize over the survey (this is my main regret as we have had many things pop up since owning our home despite getting the highest level survey completed) but the help I got from Florence/Chestertons made the purchasing process specifically much less of a stressful situation than I had been warned to expect here in the UK.
