28th Apr 2026 (7 days ago)Rent money sent to them on time and they still send threatening letters saying respond within 24hrs. We have asked for more information as they must have their records wrong. They fail to respond for days comes across as aggressive hipocracy.

8th Apr 2026 (27 days ago)One of the worst experience in letting properties.They are good on selling/buying properties,tricky and ignoring emails without response,lack of flexibility and not willing to communicate personnel at Abbey Wood branch!The handling of client funds in my situation has been particularly concerning.

Luke handled everything from viewings, to tips, to the marketing and on going communication. Luke is a real people’s person who’s professional but approachable always. Luke was able to get me more for my property than rival agents valued it at and it was a smooth interaction throughout. Very grateful and happy, would recommend the agency and Luke to anyone thinking to buy/sell in the area. I’ve sold and purchased properties before and this was my best experience. Thank you.
24th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)I found a property to purchase being marketed by Chattertons Estate Agents. My initial viewing was hosted by Jen who was extremely welcoming, informative and helpful. After that, subsequent viewings were conducted by the fantastic branch manager, Doug Paterson. This sale/purchase was complicated by the fact that the elderly owner had gone into care and the sale being managed by her disabled son who was a long distance away. Doug had to act as liaison and there was absolutely nothing that was too much trouble for him, from recommending an excellent firm of solicitors who, with Doug’s input, were able to expedite the process to completion in 5 week, fantastic! 5th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Recently bought a house through David Evans & Co and dealt mainly with Mark. He was brilliant from start to end! Such great communication and a pleasure to deal with. So much better than the estate agent I was selling with, which was one of the big London agents and really didn't care. You could tell that Mark's clients matter to him. If I sell this house in future, I will 100% be using David Evans & Co to sell it.
14th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)I've recently bought my first home through Truepenny's in Charlton. Through the process of viewing properties I've met a good few estate agents and I have to say David at Truepenny's came across as the most honest and straightforward. No estate agent script or nonsense, no opening of cupboard doors and saying "look you've got a cupboard" (I've seriously had that before) and most importantly, no BS. I also thought the staff at Truepenny's went the extra mile, having seen the property online over the weekend I called the office on a Monday morning and they did a viewing the same day. And finally I was flying by a wing and a prayer at times to get everything across the line and I appreciated David's patience in all of that. I can highly recommend Truepenny's and would certainly use them if I was to sell or rent out my home in the future.
7th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)I knew Barnard Marcus had an agency in Peckham, it felt local. Liam (Small), the Manager, immediately booked an appointment to visit my apartment to discuss the sale. Liam clearly knew the building, knew the figures for all recent sales of apartments in the building. I was certainly invited to discuss the price at which I’d like to sell the flat. It was clear that Liam and Barnard Marcus knew how to sell online. All very professional, a price was set.

1st May 2026 (4 days ago)I think buying and selling a house is stressful enough, and this is why we loved working with Strickland: Jamie and Terence are two REAL people who REALLY cared and did treat our sale and purchase like what it really meant to us, not just another transaction on their schedule. They have been reasonable (honestly, it may sound like an odd compliment but it’s just so hard to find reasonable people these days!), kind, proactive, an absolute pleasure to work with. I did genuinely trust them and I would do so again with no hesitation. The only issue now is that we’ll need to move again to have an excuse to hang out with them! ??????

The video by Corinne was amazing and the property was live and on the market within hours. It sold on the first viewing for above the marketed value. Although completion took longer than anticipated Paul & Dawn kept us updated throughout the process. I cannot recommend Local Agent enough. Denise and Ken

Throughout the process Kevin kept us updated with clear and timely communications and went above and beyond. Kevin and the team were chasing up solicitors and parties in the chain and doing more than all the other agents put together to ensure that completion happened before Christmas. Anyone thinking of selling should not go anywhere else!
23rd Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)After years of being routinely disappointed by incredibly poor service of two large and well known managing agents, I contacted Eldridge Estates and they have been nothing short of brilliant. I cannot overstate how helpful Azadul was and has continued to be since he came to view my property. He arranged repair work, found great tenants quickly, and went out of his way to make things easier for me frequently. I wish I’d contacted E.E. years ago. It would have saved me countless headaches and a lot of money too. I high recommend them.
