2nd Nov 2025 (10 mo. ago)I don't feel they really put any effort into trying to sell our property. The quality of the pictures and listing was not up to scratch. We had to chase for information a lot. I regret choosing them.

22nd Jun 2026 (14 weeks ago)I had someone come round the other day to look at renting out my property as I plan to move away from the area and the guy did not really say anything positive about my house. Have to say that the guy did not come across as being very helpful and unlikely to use their services in going forwards and will take my business elsewhere.- 31st Jul 2024 (2 years ago)All staff at the Baldock office were very helpful in particular both Michelle and Emma. In the last few days trying to get the property over the line Emma diligently worked keeping and working with me she truly is an asset to any company. Many thanks.
13th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)I felt we had a very rocky start with the main contractions dealing with leaving. I had to chase mostly for feed back on viewings and I never felt that communication was as it was promised in the beginning. It’s a difficult market so it’s hard to say what and how the flat would have sold price wise and time wise in a better market overall I would say average
20th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)My friend had reviewed a property from them and immediately called up to reserved. The next day the deposit fee was paid and the forms filled out and sent back but there was one form missing which they emailed them at 1pm to get another form filled out and by 2pm which they was at work so haven’t been on there emails. When they saw the email at 3pm they had let this property to someone else. That’s awful they had paid money to hold it and they didn’t even try to call to inform them. Didn’t even give them time to reply. Terrible job we wouldn’t recommend using them to anyone. How can they do that to someone when they need this place to move in and live. 2nd Sep 2024 (2 years ago)Very poor communication. Had to chase repeatedly to find out what was happening. Paid for the premium package and had hosted viewings all contracted out to an agency. Different agent almost every time turning up minutes before the viewer. No knowledge of the property and poor follow ups for feedback. After 3 months without a sale went to another agent and sold within a week. Definitely do NOT recommend Purplebricks, they take your money then have no incentive to make sure you get a sale. Avoid and pay the extra money for a proper estate agent rather than pay twice like we did.
31st Aug 2026 (28 days ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

18th Dec 2025 (9 mo. ago)This agency gives me rather dubious vibes. There are no Google reviews, and the only review I’ve been able to find mirrors my experience exactly. We have been attempting to arrange a viewing for over a week. When they eventually responded, it was via a late-evening text message suggesting a Sunday viewing at a very specific time, with no alternative offered. I’ve never previously encountered Sunday viewings, but more concerning was the complete lack of flexibility or willingness to accommodate. As a prospective buyer, this has been enough to put me off the property altogether, as I can only assume the process would be equally difficult further down the line.
