1st Nov 2022 (3 years ago)We have had dealings with Woodleys Estate Agents over a number of years both selling and buying of properties, as well as renting. The service, communication and advice they have always given us has been excellent. In particular Mark, Mike and Gareth who were totally on top of negotiations and efficient in deputising for each other when required. All In all this company and its employees acted both professionally and honest with us at all times. They were a pleasure to work with and we can 100% recommend them. In addition we rented a property out through Woodleys with Aidan representing us, who likewise had very high professional standards and guided us through the whole process from advertising to selecting a tenant. Again we recommend this side of the business too. Mark, Mike, Gareth and Aiden are a credit to Woodleys and clearly showed integrity and professionalism throughout our dealings with them, but we also had a good many funny moments and laughter en route. 1st Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)We recently viewed a property in Southmoor which we really loved, fully aware it required a significant amount of work. We initially offered £378,000, and Graham contacted us to push £380,000, suggesting we increase our offer to secure the property. Reluctantly, we agreed as we didn’t want to lose it. Given the age of the property (1960s), we arranged a survey, which highlighted several issues. As a result, we submitted a revised offer to reflect the additional work required. Around the same time, we revisited the property and noticed that three fence panels were down, including one on our side. When I raised this with Graham, his response was dismissive, describing it as “only cosmetic,” which felt inappropriate given the rising cost of materials and repairs. Throughout the process, Graham’s attitude came across as dismissive and, at times, rude. Communication lacked professionalism, and we often felt our concerns were being minimised. We later received an email stating that the beneficiary’s husband, who is apparently a builder of 45 years, had dismissed the issues raised in the survey. This response felt unconstructive and contradictory, particularly as relatively minor issues like the fencing had not been addressed. Overall, the process raised multiple red flags, both in terms of communication and transparency. Unfortunately, our experience has been negative, and we would not feel confident dealing with this estate agent again and I would recommend other people to be aware of them.

They have been so helpful from the very beginning, and supported my sale going through in just over 3 months from offer to sold. Considering this was my first time selling, they made the process smooth and easy to understand.<br><br>Lydia in particular was a huge driving force and was so on it with chasing others and keeping me in the loop. Everyone I spoke to was kind, upbeat & helpful. Would definitely recommend!

31st Jul 2026 (4 days ago)We had a frustrating experience with RP. All the people that worked there were lovely, knowledgeable and approachable. However, the communication is what made the experience challenging. We would go weeks and weeks without hearing anything, and after precious viewings we just wouldn’t hear back. We’d have to keep calling just to get feedback. Ultimately we have chosen to move to a different estate agent; RP just couldn’t give the time and attention needed to sell our flat.
