15th Sep 2026 (3 days ago)We chose Connells because they are a nationwide estate agent. The agents who came to carry out the valuation and take the photographs were fantastic. However, the agent responsible for conducting the viewings was late, which resulted in a queue of prospective buyers waiting outside the house. As there was no sales board displayed, and the situation was attracting attention from the neighbours, I let the buyers in myself. When the agent did arrive, she spent less than 15 minutes in the property, while we waited outside the house in my car. Furthermore, the buyer of the house wanted to pay us £10,000 directly. This was communicated to us through the agent. I spoke to the buyer but felt very uncomfortable with the situation, so I blocked them and told them to proceed through the proper channels. I found this highly unprofessional, and we should never have been placed in this position.

4th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)Dixons is definitely a capable estate agent with good expertise in this field.<br><br>To be honest, my initial experience with Dixons wasn’t very impressive. I had more or less given up and was simply waiting for my fixed-term contract to expire so that I could appoint another agent. Looking back, I think it may have been more down to how my sale was being managed at the time, as I didn’t feel that my expectations and concerns were fully understood.<br><br>Coincidentally, I spoke to Sarah Blair about my experience and how dissatisfied I was. She was genuinely surprised and very keen to put things right for me. She made a very valid point that she didn’t know I was unhappy, and if I didn’t raise my concerns, how would they know?<br><br>Once Sarah took over responsibility for my sale, she really made an effort to turn things around. She looked at everything, from the pricing to the listing, and within just a few days we had received three offers. She went the extra mile to maximise the offers and achieve the best possible result for me.<br><br>Throughout the whole process, Sarah kept me constantly informed, which was important to me. She discussed everything with me, gave me good advice and was always very helpful, professional and approachable, and she always returned my call quickly.<br><br>Although I definitely feel I started off on the wrong foot with Dixons, my experience changed completely once I raised my concerns and Sarah became involved. I would happily use Dixons again in the future, particularly if I could have someone like Sarah looking after my property.<br><br>Thank you, Sarah, for turning my experience around and for all your hard work.

22nd Aug 2026 (27 days ago)Very poor customer service and inconsistent information shared by staff. I would not reccomend for tenants, they are very difficult to receive a response from. Ensure everything is in writing for your own records.<br><br>I asked repeatedly for information on my deposit return and was told it would be given back within 30 days of leaving the property. Only after this month had passed, Sunny attempted to blame me and one of the other girls leaving the property for not resolving this sooner, despite my repeated attempts. He then attempted to retain my full deposit and the deposit of the new tenant for the same room.<br><br>Absolutely disgusting customer service for something they failed to process in due time and maintain clear and consistent records with the outgoing tenants and the new tenants.- This agent doesn't have any reviews
